Soft Brick - FAILED TO MOUNT SYSTEM - Help

Good night guys, so there's my problem:

I was on DN 0.6.1 custom ROM, TWRP 3.0.2.0 and rooted. Today, i wanted to go back to stock ROM, so, I downloaded the stock firmware throught sammobile, and tried to install it throught ODIN 3.11, but it's stopped at system.img, and remained stuck in it for a long time. so i decided to restart the phone..

Then it's showed the follow message:

firmware upgrade encountered an issue note 4. Please select recovery mode on kies and try again.

So, i tried to re-flash throught ODIN, but stucked at system.img again, after it, I downloaded KIES and tried restore it, but it's stopped at 2%.

I wasn't abble to go to recovery mode, only download mode, so, i extracted the ROM file, and flashed only the boot.img through ODIN. Now it's boot to recovery...

I wiped data/cache, but the following error showed up:

E: Failed to mount system (invalid argument).

and now i can't find a solution for it.. tried to do amost anything that i could find on the internet, but none solved my problem...

I'm wanting to flash PIT + CSC + PDA file, using the repartition option on ODIN, but i'm afraid that may brick my phone for ever...

I'm following this tutorial by now: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note...-t-w8-t3282641

And i need this CSC file, because my phone is the C version, could someone give me link to download it ? couldn't find in any place.

ANd there's someone who could help me ? i'm very concerned about it because i don't have money to buy another phone at the moment...

Thanks, and yes, already looked at XDA for a answer but couldn't fine any.

THANK YOU

Failed to launch gallery activity!

I flashed to Non prime, rooted, unlocked bootloader and debloted MediaTek apps.

Now after taking a picture and touching the gallery picture I get the "Failed to launch gallery activity!" message.

How can I get the gallery back or substitute for another?

OEM Unlock Command Failed - "Not supported command in current status"

I recently reverted to stock so I can start from scratch and install everything over again. After all that and booting into android, I checked the ADB and OEM Unlock options in my settings. Then I rebooted into the bootloader and entered the "fastboot OEM unlock" command I followed the on-screen instructions and selected "yes" to continue. The command prompt then shows the following:

(bootloader) Unlocking bootloader...

(bootloader) Not supported command in current status!
FAILED (remote failure)
finished. total time: 24.776s

I've googled this for about an hour and a half and can't seem to find an answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OTA update failed on Moto X Play

So, I stepped over to the Nexus 6p and sold my Moto X Play to my friend.

I unrooted it, flashed stock firmware(exactly like I did about 2 times before) but he can't install OTA updates, he says it reboots several times and reports the update as failed.

BUT, I went through the exact same proces before, 2 times even, I flashed the stock firmware and I COULD update but I am not sure how anymore, I think it had something to do with restarting the phone yourself? I am basically looking for a specific action here that I performed before, but I don't remember what it was.

Complete (Write) operation failed in Odin

I was trying to install xposed and admittedly I had no idea really what I was doing as I only just rooted my phone today as well. Somehow while making a NAND backup I ended up deleting the OS. I downloaded a stock rom for my model (G900-P) and when I put the phone into download mode and try to flash it, I get the complete (write) operation failed error. What should I do to get this fixed? Thank you.

Stuck in bootloop after a failed flash

I already had a Cyanogen ROM on my Xperia Z5 and was browsing the forum here and saw a Paranoid android ROM so I wanted to try that. I had CWM recovery on it, went into recovery and wiped the necessary parts. Then flashed the rom zip and the gapps. After that I rebooted but the phone kept shutting down and only blinking a red light.
So I connected it to my computer and put it in Flash mode, used Flashtool to put it back to stock. While stock was being flashed on it and halfway it gave an error (which I don't remember) and the phone booted. I assumed it was correct, it gave the white screen with the 'Sony'. After that came a black screen with the 'update failed, please connect to a computer'.
This screen is on for half a second. Then the screen turns off and the same process begins with the sony and then error. This keeps looping when charging or connected to a computer. The Xperia Companion doesn't help and I can't get it in flash mode of fastboot. It is hardbricked and what should I do?
If you need more information I'd be happy to provide it asap.

Bricked phone, failed stock rom installation

Hello guys,

I tried to install "CRISSCROSS GOES MARSHMALLOW V7.0" rom in my G925F but I forgot what my model/serial number is. All I know is that my phone is G925F (S6 edge international).
Now my phone keeps on rebooting at the Samsung logo page.
Also, I tried to install a stock rom using odin but that failed too (apparently, you can't go to an older software version)

Please help if you can.

Galaxy Tab A6 5.1 lollipop failed to write to ext sd card?

So I got my device a few days ago, and I thought the r/w on the ext sd was a kit kat problem.

There is not root for the galaxy tab A6 at the moment, so I can't do anything.

can someone point me to a right direction of enabling the r/w the ext sd card without root on 5.1? Thanks.

Failed flashing, no os, wont connect usb only have TWRP

Hi so i've messed up bad. I rooted my SM-G925f yesterday which went perfectly, then I installed xposed and tried to install the framework which led my phone to not being able to boot. I tried to flash a stock rom which only fail on Odin and would only boot to the "use smart switch recovery screen", after that I tried to flash a custom rom which guided me to delete the OS at the same time, this failed too. Now I have a phone with no OS and when plugged into PC no USB connection, I still have TWRP but that's all.

Is there any way to fix this or is it now just a paper weight?

Thanks

[HELP] - Unable to unlock bootloader - Sony Xperia Z5 Compact - Fastboot FAILED

Hello Guys

I am stuck here and I don't know why this happens - to start off with, I would not consider myself new to this - so if I am just blind and dumb here, I'll be pretty embarrassed.

To start off with (all this should be self explanatory) - pictures say more than a thousand words;
IMEI
Should be able to be unlocked
God hates me

Just for extra info; this is the steps received from Sony (IMEI), which I am sure that I followed correctly:

Code:

Install the Android SDK and the device drivers

1. Download and install the Android SDK.

2. If you’re running Windows, you also need to download and install an updated Fastboot driver. This is the standard android_winusb.inf-file, with a few lines of code added to enable Fastboot to support Sony & Sony Ericsson devices. Replace the original android_winusb.inf-file with the downloaded file in the usb_driver folder, located in the Android SDK > extras > google folder on your computer. If you can’t find the usb_driver folder, make sure you are running Google USB Driver package revision 4 or higher in your Android SDK. If not, install the Google USB Driver Packager using the Android SDK manager.

Note! If you’re running OSX or Linux, you are not required to install any additional drivers.

3. On your device, turn on USB debugging by going to Settings > Developer options and click to enable USB debugging.
As of Android Jelly Bean 4.2 the Developer options are hidden by default. To enable them tap on Settings > About Phone > Build Version multiple times. Then you will be able to access the Settings > Developer options.
Connect to Fastboot

1. Turn off your Xperia™ Z5 Compact.

2. Connect a USB-cable to your computer.

3. On your Xperia™ Z5 Compact, press the Volume up button at the same time as you connect the other end of the USB-cable. For Windows users, when asked for a driver, point to the usb_driver folder where you placed the android_winusb.inf-file, and select the Android Boot loader Interface-file.

4. When your device is connected, open a command window on your computer and go to the platform-tools folder within the Android SDK folder.

5. Enter the following command:

fastboot devices

6. Verify that you get an answer back without any errors.
Enter unlock key

WARNING! The command below contains your unlock key. If you perform this step, you will unlock the boot loader. This may void your warranty and/or any warranty from your operator.

1. If you still want to unlock the boot loader of your device, enter the following command:

fastboot -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0xDFC4C30CD77A9B20

2. Verify that you get an answer back without any errors.

The phone works perfectly, so it should not be a hardware issue, as far as I can see? and it looks like the drivers installed works fine as 'reboot-bootloader' worked fine (did this as a test to show some commands works).
Hope some of you have a fix for this problem.

XT1541: Recovery Mode - Start Up Failed

Hi dear xda-forum,

I hope its ok that I am creating here this new, my first, poste now.
I have been around the xda-forum since 2012 and the Q&A Forum was a nice playground for me introducing me into rooting devices. And I am enjoying the Cyanogenmods a lot- This forum is great!

My Problem:
I am running CM12.1 on my Moto G 2015 and I was about to reinstall CM(Actually wanted to flash Nightly CM13). I didn’t come to that point, cause before I actually flashed the CM, I wanted to test some APKs and ROMs. So I installed this and that wildly, and came also across Root-required APKs. There, “ROM Toolbox Lite” turned into a problem for me because I obviously didn’t know what I caused and still don’t know.
I hope I can get help here. And to the information I am not 100% sure if ROM Toolbox Lite and my doings with it were the reason or if the Start Up Fail comes from another problem.

What I did in ROM Toolbox Lite:
I wanted to flash an emulator for playstation “psx4all” and did this with ROM Toolbox Lite.. And after the reboot it didn’t let me back into recovery mode! Though I had been in TWRP recently.

Here the Error Message after I tried to enter into Recovery Mode(TWRP 3.0.2.0)

Recovery Mode->

So i guess i flashed this "psx4all" over my twrp and now i cant fix it. I tried to flash twrp like i flashed the psx4all but it didnt fix the start up fail.
So yea, I can boot into my system, CM12.1 but I cant enter the recovery mode.
I have atm a complete backup of my phone so i am ready to wipe all data and get the phone completly new installed and i hope i can find help here
If you need further informations about anything I might have done or technical notes then pls ask me for that. I appreciate every help.
Also I wonder whats the deal with the mentioned Software Repair Assistant after the Start Up Failed.
I tried google it but got only linked to a spanish site..

Thx in advance*greetings~
