Cannot access Play Store after update

Hi Guys,
So this is my issue, a few days ago I updated to CyanogenMod 12.1-20160719-SNAPSHOT-YOG7DAO8DL-maguro.
Since the update, I cannot access Play Store. I receive the following message when I try to access:"Google Play services- Google Play Games relies on Google Play services, which is not supported by your device. Contact the manufacturer for assistance."
This was not an issue prior to the update.
Any information is helping me to resolve this issue would be appreciated.
Information that may be of benefit:
• Android version- 5.1.1
• Kernel- 3.0.101-g05a4271
• Build- LMY49J 872596b770

Play Store doesn't work!

Hi. I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy Note 3 LTE (SM-N9005) and when I try to download any game from the play store it says No connection please retry.
I have already modified the hosts file, and even set it to Read Only but it keeps modifying (I also tried to delete it and after 1-2 mins it gets back ) , and the play store only works for about 1-2 mins. Does someone knows how to make the hosts file unchangeable?
I also cleared the data .
I mention that I'm using the latest version of Play Store and android 5.1 Lollipop.

Google Play Services GPS Crash

I'm running OCT-M 6.0.1. Every time google apps try to access location services, I get play services crashing. This does not happen with non-google apps such as waze or GPS Test.

I've tried reinstalling play services to the latest, reinstalled google maps, and cleared data for services and framework (backed up beforehand of course).

Does anyone know what could be causing this? I'm unsure where to find a crash log.

google play music pausing when screen turns off, and other issues

I'm using stock marshmellow from lg. google play music pauses the song when the screen turns off. usually between 30 seconds and 2 minutes after the screen turns off. I'm not exactly sure if it pauses the song or the audio just cuts off. I've added google play music to ignore battery optimizations and that didn't help.

another issue I'm having is after I reboot the phone, play music doesn't detect my songs. the sd card is mounted but there is no music in play music. sometimes remounting the sd card doesn't work and I have to reboot. also, after rebooting, my playlist is empty.

Bootloop problem of nokia x2 after installing play store

Hi everyone . Sorry for the earlier post stating the use of cracked app . I will buy apps always.
B.T.W I have a question. I tried to install play store on my new nokia x2 ver.2.1.0.12 using nokia x2 tools and after rebooting it went into bootloop. My friend has a nokia x2 ver2.0.0.11 but he never faced such a problem while installing play store and is smoothly running it. Please help me to install play store in my nokia x2 . I have tried to manually install it also by copying the essential filesin system\app folder after repair of my phone as it was under warranty, but it again gone in bootloop. Please help!!!!!!!!. Problema with Play store

Hello,
Since october 2015 I've a Oneplus 2. From day one I've problems with the Play store.
1. Apps won't update
2. Apps won't download
3. Errors (like Connections not possible, download stays in a kind of stase)
4. When the downloads are possible, it takes a very long time

Sometimes when the phone is charging (at night) the apps are all updated.

Sometimes it even works normally.
All tips and tricks I could find, I executed. But problems stays. Even a factory reset and hard reset did not work.

On this moment (after a hard reset) I'm not able to download any app.

Who can help, besides throwing the phone out of the window?

I have downloaded a cracked app that was a paid app on play store. But when I try to downloa other levels in it it is giving a message that ""item is available only when app is downloaded from play store ". please help. I love that game.Name of the game is infinite flight simulator. I have a rooted phone. Thanks in advanced for help.

OTA update failed on Moto X Play

So, I stepped over to the Nexus 6p and sold my Moto X Play to my friend.

I unrooted it, flashed stock firmware(exactly like I did about 2 times before) but he can't install OTA updates, he says it reboots several times and reports the update as failed.

BUT, I went through the exact same proces before, 2 times even, I flashed the stock firmware and I COULD update but I am not sure how anymore, I think it had something to do with restarting the phone yourself? I am basically looking for a specific action here that I performed before, but I don't remember what it was.

G4 Making Unlock Sound Play Full Length

Hello,
One thing I always play with while rooted are system ui sounds, especially lock/unlock sounds. I have been wondering for the longest time if there is some way to make the unlock sound play it's full length, rather than only about a second. (i.e. circlemosaic_unlock, hulahoops_unlock) The thing is, the locking sound (i.e. hulahoops_lock) plays for as long as the sound file is.. or at least multiple seconds longer than the unlock sound.
I have never had a "touchdown" sound longer than a second, so I'm not sure how long that one plays, but any insight/help would be so much appreciated.
(I would finally be able to let the engine roar in my Jaguar F-Type lockscreen pack!) :p

Remix OS 3 Play Store Not Working

Is anybody else having trouble with the Google Play Store / Play Services I just keep getting the "could not connect to google servers" error have tried force stopping and clearing the Data/Cache from Play Store/Play Services/Framework but still getting the same message any help is appriciated.

Need help! Bricked my Moto X play. Boot into TWRP and it says my memory is 0mb

Hello all, I tried to update my TWRP today to 3.0.2 and I somehow bricked it. I tried flashing a stock rom to it and that didn't work. I finally got TWRP 3.0.2 to work but it tells me my memory is 0mb and its unable to mount any of my drives :( I think the issue is the file system is in RAW now or something? Any suggestions? Please let me know if any more info is needed.

How do I access other partitions in Remix OS 3 and change size of Play Store?

I can see my partions in remix os 2, but why not in remix os 3.
And any way to change size of play store? It pauses my game.

Tasker Spotify Auto Play help

Background: I am trying to turn my Nexus 7 (2012) into an Android auto type thing. I saw the headunit app on these forums, but i don't want to rely on my phone to get it working. Also saw the android auto mimic, but I like using the stand alone google maps more.

When i turn on my ignition aka usb power, I would like my spotify to automatically start playing. I have an app installed called "no lock" so I won't have a lockscreen and "auto sleeper" which sleeps my tablet when i turn my ignition off.

So far this tasker opens up Spotify when connected to usb but that's it. It doesn't start playing.

This is what i've done, the original instructions I copied it used headphones plugin instead of my usb connected.

STEP 1

• Open your Tasker application.
• Select the “Profiles” tab in the top left.
• Click the “+” icon in the bottom right.
• Click on “State“.
• Select “Hardware“.
• Select “usb connected” and leave the settings as they are and press back.

STEP 2

Now we will setup the task (actions) that will occur when the profile is triggered.

Loading Spotify
• Press the “New Task +” that appeared.
• Let’s name it “Spotify Plug Play“.
• Click the “+” icon at the bottom to add an action.
• Select the “App” category.
• Select “Load App“. Find Spotify and select it.
• Press back.

STEP 3

Add a Wait action.
(This is to make sure the app is fully loaded before pressing play.)
• Click the “+” at the bottom.
• Select the “Task” category.
• Select “Wait“.
• Set Seconds to 5 or which you prefer,

STEP 4

Raise the Volume
• Click the “+” icon at the bottom to add another action.
• Select the “Audio” category.
• Select “Media Volume” and set Level to your desired volume.
• Press back.

STEP 5

Getting Spotify to play.
• Click the “+” icon at the bottom.
• Select the “System” category.
• Select “Send Intent”
• Set these fields:
– Action: com.spotify.mobile.android.ui.widget.PLAY
– Cat: None
– Package: com.spotify.music
– Target: Broadcast Reciever

Cannot find Amazon Fire TV Remote App in Google Play store

I live in Canada and have the google play store installed. When I search for the "Amazon Fire TV Remote App", it isn't found in the store. When I search the store from a desktop computer, it's definitely in the store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ent.aosp&hl=en) and while logged into my google account, it says there are no eligible devices on which to install this app. I also tried searching the amazon app store - no luck there either.

Is this because I'm in Canada or is the app not installable on a non-rooted Amazon Fire (how ironic would that be)?

Help : MIUI ROM google play store not working.

Hi friends,

I have rooted my Nexus 5 device, and this is first I am going to flash custom ROM. As I like MIUI, I have flashed MIUI v7 from http://en.miui.com/download-232.html. I have successful boot and running smooth. But I cannot install google play store apps. I have directly installed "Google installer" from MIUI app store. But it does not worked. Then as per http://en.miui.com/thread-235581-1-1.html this link I have downloaded "New Google installer apk" and tried but same message. I have attached the screen shot please help me out with this problem. I have searched forum before posting but could not found any solution. Thank you.

Moto X PURE NOT "Play" or "style" bootloader unlock and root?

Ok I'm sure some of you are thinking "what's the difference?" and "what a noob" or something like that. But given where i come from, that being the original Motorola Droid 1 rooting used to be extremely simple and easy since there was only ONE model for the motorola DROID 1 here in the states. I have a Moto x PURE edition and was curious if there is in fact a difference between that and the STYLE/PLAY models that would make it impossible to unlock my bootloader and root it? I know that for some time it was very difficult because you couldn't officially unlock your bootloader with out being a developer for it, yet developer options are fully accessible on the moto x pure. I'm beyond confused and need some clarification on this.

i honestly have no clue if i'm able to unlock the boot loader with out bricking it automatically
and i honestly have no clue if i'm able to root it with out bricking it automatically because in the past i've tried rooting other devices similar to this and failed miserably.

please don't tell me to just go on the forums and look up root methods and unlocking the boot loader because simply put they have a combined forum of both the international model and the US model so sifting through all of it just to get things clear is beyond frustrating since i have no clue what i'm looking at anymore :/

another thing to note is that i was previously on the LG G4 which makes my confusion understandable from my perspective since in some cases it's possible to root the G4 and in some other cases it's NOT possible to root the G4 and each model has it's own number and build and blah blah blah making it impossible to know if mine is rootable or not.

Anyone able to share a google play developers account with me?

I just want to publish some of my free apps i have made like a notes app and subway food diary and stuff like that.

Possible to update to KitKat so I can play Pokemon Go?

I have an old Note 3 that I just totally cleared and restarted from factory. My goal is to update to KitKat so that I can run Pokemon Go, and also to root so I can play around with things. I couldnt find much on KitKat for Note 3. I know about Kingo Root and have rooted this phone in the past so really my question lies with how do I go about the OS upgrade, and do I root before or after?
