wifi not working on CM ROMS

Presently I'm on freedom OS and wifi is working properly. But wheneve I install Ressurection, pure CM or even Exodus ROMS my wifi is getting connected but showing no internet access. Does any one know any solution to this?

How to flash firmware on a Oppo R5 without partitions, OS and adb not working

Hello. Today i wanted to update my Oppo R5s R8106 from ColorOS to Mokee.

First i had to install Project Spectrum V1.1i Beta, and here it was fine.

Next step, i followed this guide to install CM (as someone on Oppo forum told me that the procedure for Mokee is the same).

Here i had problems, because TWRP for oppo r5 were not working (volume down + power button weren't getting me in recovery menu). I tried all the version for this phone from website but nothing.
So I tried to flash the CM recovery image from the nightly page of CyanogenMod for Oppo R5s and here i could go inside recovery menu.

Next problem now, was that for every zip of Mokee i was trying to flash, i got a message like "can't install this package on top of incompatible data" and here i did a big mistake: i did a factory reset which erased me all system partitions, data, and everything (also zip files of ROMs).

Looking on internet i saw that it was possible use adb to create again folder on /data/media/0 (emulation of sd card) and load zip that i can use from recovery to restore again the OS. The problem is that now, when i type "adb devices" i see my device "unauthorized" (before my mistake i could see my phone), so i'm not able to load zip on my phone. Tried to kill server, reboot, delete .android folder... nothing works.

I tried fastboot update <name_of_my_zip>.zip but i get message "archive does not contain 'android-info.txt".
I tried to put inside an empty txt file named like this, but now i get "archive does not contain 'boot.sig', archive does not contain 'system.img'"
I tried to fastboot these zip files: R8106_Spectrum_V1.1_Beta_full_wipe.zip, R8106EX_11.A.16_OTA_INT_016_all_150806_wipe.zip , MK60.1-r5-160801-RELEASE.zip, cm-13.0-20160803-NIGHTLY-r5.zip but i always got these errors.

The only thing that i can do now is flash CM recovery or ColorOs & ProjectSpectrum recovery .

Unlukily, any of these recovery allow me to mount folders from my pc.

So i would like to ask for your kind help to know how can i load zip file on my phone, or how can i install a zip from fastboot, or how can i get adb work again or if there is a tool for flash oppo (i remember there was something like this for Xperia...) or if do you know if there are some where some firmware which are good to be flashed with fastboot.

buttons not working

Hi, i've installed Malaysk v4 rom and it worked fine for a couple of weeks. Now i've a big problem: buttons on mtcd and buttons on steeringwheel not working at all! CanBus work fine because i can see climatronic info on display. When i receive a call unit don't switch to bluetooth page. What do you think i can try before reset unit?

Nexus 6p - is Band 12 working for me? how to check?

I'm not sure if I'm getting band 12 on my new Nexus 6p - T Mobile. Is there a way to check this? I am running PureNexus. Not sure if there is a better modem I can install.

Can you have Sim Toolkit working on Paranoid Android (Nexus 4 6.0.1)?

I love Paranoid Android but I can't use banking apps for payment etc. without Sim Toolkit working.

Is there a reason it is not included with PA? Can I get it working?
As in title I am currently on Nexus 4 using the 6.0.1 version.

Oneplus ONE screen problem (Part of screen not working)

ZUK Z2 Pro - ADB not working

Hi,

I just got my ZUK Z2 Pro 6/128GB.
first I had the Problem that the OTA to 2.0.048 was not working. I got the notification but when i tried to download it, it was saying "no Internet Connection". Internet is working with browser or any other app.
After that I downloaded the 2.0.048 directly and installed it via SD Update which worked out fine.
But I still get the notification that there is an OTA update.

My Major Problem is, I tried to switch the Google-Play-Store to German according this How-To
can not post URL... it is the italian How to
Everything worked out fine until I get to this part to “Grant permission” with ADB (run.bat)
I am not able to see my phone in ADB whatever I do.

Had the Standard Drivers installed, used the "Adb Driver installer" and also deinstalled the Driver manually and used this How-To
can not post Url.... it is the way with PdaNet Installation which changed the drivers
Still no phone in ADB.

Do you have any idea how to solve this?
I tried this on 3 different Pc's (2 x WIN 10 + Win 7) in several different USB ports

Now on Tap not working?

It doesn't appear that the home button activates Now on Tap? Is it just me?

need help getting audio working

hey guys tried booting remix os 3.0 on my acer aspire switch 10e booted fine but i cant seem to get audio working at all and seems like wifi is buggy as well is there anything i can do to make this more useable trying to get away from windows on this too buggy

GPS not working when following a route - Stock HTC 10 Android 6.0.1

I really hope I'm not the only one with this issue. The HTC 10 cannot use the GPS when it's in navigation mode.

It works great when I open Google Map, it spots me and knows my orientation, but as soon as I search for a location and start navigating, it get stuck at "Searching for GPS..."

I troubleshooted this with HTC and tried everything they suggested (white cache, start in safe mode, factory reset, use Waze to navigate, use GPS tool to reset cache again) but all failed.

I then switched my location settings from "High Accuracy" to "Battery Saver" and it worked!

I then switched the mode to use GPS only and it failed again.

It appears that any mode that has the GPS included (High Accuracy and GPS only) will mess up my navigating. The Battery Saver uses every sources but the GPS.

I'm not sure if this is a hardware or software issue. Have any of you experience this and found a fix?

It gets more bizarre here: I tried the same thing on another phone (Blu HD, also running on stock android 6.0.1) and the same thing happened to my navigation, I have to switch to Battery Saver if I want the phone to pick up my location so it can start directing me.

How can the same thing happened to two phones? It has to be a software issue right? But the problem was still there even after I factory reset. This is really puzzling for me. Please advise.

Data working but streaming services like YouTube and Pandora having issues.

Verizon Note 3 N900v on StraightTalk

The issue I'm having is slightly odd, data works fine the majority of the time but streaming stuff such as YouTube videos and Pandora songs won't work most of the time. Also sometimes data doesn't work at all and I have to turn data off and then back on a few times to get it working again. Right now Pandora works but still having issues with YouTube. Everything is working fine on my wife's OnePlus One and she's on ST as well, so I don't believe it to be a carrier issue. Has anyone else had this issue and is there a fix or potential solution?

[Help] Status 7 Error and Rebooting to System not working.

Hello i was going to try XOSP Rom. But i faced status 7 Error on TWRP. After i fixed with updater-script edit method it is working till flash. But when i reboot to bootloader it is opening fastboot mode automatically. I tried RR rom same problem. Facing Status 7 error with every rom except Stock. What to do now?
Please Help.

I backup the cm13 and wanted to restore the original ROM but is not starting up..
It stay fix on the initial Oneplus logo..

LG G3 D851 Unbrick Qualcomm 9008 Fully Working

Hello guys, I spent 2 weeks analyzing hex files in order to revive a D851 that I got my hands on. It was not an easy journey but I would like to share this with the devs or people who are looking at bring their bricks to life. ;)

What I did was actually hack the Sahara programmer files that WillCracker (BoardDiag) programs use. This comes in the attached files.

I have revived one D851 phone that I had dead. Right now it already booted into download mode and it is loading the *.tot.

Below you can see a screenshot of the dmesg showing that it is already in download mode (after being in QC HS USB 9008 mode)... I am so !"#$ happy :)

I flashed the partitions like in this other guide but please use the attached file or else it won't work.



NOTE: Please download the attached Willcracker Version for the D851, this is a modified one :cool: and is the only type of program I managed to use to revive my phone.

Can't get PIA VPN working on CM12.1?

I have just exhausted PIA's tech support and still neither the PIA vpn client nor openvpn seem to work properly on my i9100. They both install just fine, and seem to connect, but I check and my IP address is the same as it was before, and then I go to the PIA site and it confirms that I am "not protected". I have tried different ports and checking a variety of settings (hopefully not all of them) and nothing so far.

Is anyone else using PIA on the i9100 with CM12.1? If yes were you able to get PIA up and running first time or was there something you had to do?

Anyone else that has thoughts about how to get this going would *really* be appreciated!

Cellular network not available - But mobile data is working

When I try to call or text someone the message or the call fails to work. The 4g connection seems to be working fine though. Running a Moto X Pure on Verizon. I have rooted the phone but have traveled back to a stock rom and still no success. Is there any solution to this problem?

I have tried to factory reset the phone but that does not work. :(

Wifi tethering not working

So i flashed the latest pure nexus rom, since my tethering wont work, they told me to do a clean install on the phone since i did a dirty, still i factory reset the phone, and installed everything clean and no luck.

Issue is that on the computer it connects to the network, but it appears to not have any connectivity, its just displays in the browser no internet connection, on the tablet, it never finds an IP address, the tether network does appear, it just that is seems as it connects but does not transmit any data.

I contacted tmobile and they told me all my share gigs are intact and they have not blocked my tethering features.

What could be wrong??

Wifi not working after installing Android Revolution HD

In order to get rid of the AT&T bloatware that originally came with my phone, I installed Android Revolution HD 53.1. I roughly followed the guide here.

I used TWRP as the custom recovery.

Now, I can't use Wifi at all. (i.e. it is off and when I try to turn it on it just becomes grey). Someone online suggests deleting data/misc/wifi but that did not fix the issue for me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys, so basically i popped an sd card into my phone last night and ever since iam unable to play back video recordings! When i press play it says "please insert into a gr device" Any ideas why the sd card has caused this to happen ? It was fine all along
