Battery Drain on Moto X Pure

Hi,

I recently bought a Moto X Pure and after updating to 6.0 now have a battery drain problem. "Signal Standby" is my second most used in the battery screen. Under that stats it shows 0% time without signal. I live and work in an area that has great reception. Phone is factory unlocked, but nothing modified.

I have tried factory reset and using an app called gservicefix with no results.

Any help would be appreciated.

Can't import contacts to phone memory on Motorola X Pure

Hello,

Purchased a Moto X Pure recently and was able to get the bootloader unlocked and TWRP installed. I found a custom ROM
on here that is identical to what was on the phone minus bloat. I am trying to restore my contacts from my storage card
but it won't give me the option to import to phone memory, just an email account. I have been able to import
to phone memory from my other android phones which is why I like this over Apple. Not sure if this is enough info
so let me know if not. Just looking to not have to put contacts onto a gmail account, I prefer not to sync. Thanks.

Moto X Pure Edition XT1575 Camera Problem

When I take photo at night using flash with my new Moto X Pure Edition(XT1575),suddenly I noticed after zooming in the picture, a blurry round shade is created on eyes,sometimes only in one eye.
It totally ruins the picture and looks extremely ugly,artificial.I am totally upset with this problem.
That's definitely not red eye.

What is so special about pure nexus?

I tried pure nexus resurrection remix aicp and maybe briefly some other rom with the stock kernels and then with elementalx and elite kernel and i found out that all roms i tried except the pure nexus and both kernels (on pure nexus too) make my 6p heat up to insane temperatures almost instantly when running light things such as a web browser (no games or video) and by insane temperatures i mean the upper part of the glass gets nearly too hot to hold and the whole body gets less hot but still very hot. For some reason this does not happen on pure nexus with the stock kernel and it can stay between cool and slightly warm while doing the same things that make other setups nearly melt a hole in the phone. I know all about how the snap 810 runs hotter than other chips but this just cant be normal and on top of that it works flawlessly with the stock purenexus kernel. So, does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? I assume its going to be a rare or maybe even a one off issue, since i don't see much in the way of similar issues from other users but i really have no idea what could cause it. (BTW, each rom was flashed after wiping everything and each kernel with a wipe of both cache options in twrp so i doubt that any issues could be caused by that)

How to flash pure Nexus from on Nexus 6 p stuck on Google image!!

I tried several time to flash it through custom recovery twpn and it keep giving me the Google image and won't come off it, I'm stupid to this stuff never was computer illiterate. So I need detailed instru,i don't understand layers or anything like this please help me I sick of stock bull crap

BLU Pure XL Screen replacement

I dropped it..Now the screen is cracked. I was able to order new glass from Ebay, but there is no information about how to disassemble it. I checked the web and youtube and there is just no info there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Blu Pure XL not turn

Hey guys I'm new here , I have a blu pure xl , I was flashing it with TWRP Recovery but hung up the phone holding the volume button + and the power button and unplug it .But now he does not want to call when you hold the button of power , he or vibrating . Not holding the volume button + power button and he does not care , someone help me? I am Brazilian then sorry for the English rs , when I turn blu pure xl charger nothing happens , priate care in the computer, the computer recognizes and passes 5 seconds' disconnects , and is thus , as I would have flashed it for PC ? What do I do ?

In the spririt of Andriod I like the idea of the openness that comes with the software however developers put in many hours of their work in their projects do not kang, take or steal. I am going on vacation for the next month and wouldn't get to address all the issues of this port. Restoring back to pure stock for warranty replacement

My phone is screwing the pooch, and I opened a warranty claim. I reflashed back to stock from the U firmware following the instructions at http://forum.xda-developers.com/veri...-edge-t3344092 but that custom lock is still on the boot screen. Is there a way to remove it? I googled around and found Triangle Away, but I am not sure. Any ideas?

Blu Pure XL Help

Hello, i rooted my phone today using the http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=3269447 post.

After i did this i tried installing the xposed framework. I downloaded a bunch of different ones and they didn't work so i pressed wipe cache/dalvik and then when i rebooted it, it just shows the first boot screen, just the white one. And it just stays there.

I can still enter recovery and boot loader. Can someone please help me with this?

Moto X PURE NOT "Play" or "style" bootloader unlock and root?

Ok I'm sure some of you are thinking "what's the difference?" and "what a noob" or something like that. But given where i come from, that being the original Motorola Droid 1 rooting used to be extremely simple and easy since there was only ONE model for the motorola DROID 1 here in the states. I have a Moto x PURE edition and was curious if there is in fact a difference between that and the STYLE/PLAY models that would make it impossible to unlock my bootloader and root it? I know that for some time it was very difficult because you couldn't officially unlock your bootloader with out being a developer for it, yet developer options are fully accessible on the moto x pure. I'm beyond confused and need some clarification on this.

i honestly have no clue if i'm able to unlock the boot loader with out bricking it automatically

please don't tell me to just go on the forums and look up root methods and unlocking the boot loader because simply put they have a combined forum of both the international model and the US model so sifting through all of it just to get things clear is beyond frustrating since i have no clue what i'm looking at anymore :/

another thing to note is that i was previously on the LG G4 which makes my confusion understandable from my perspective since in some cases it's possible to root the G4 and in some other cases it's NOT possible to root the G4 and each model has it's own number and build and blah blah blah making it impossible to know if mine is rootable or not.

As with the new released Moto Z or Moto Z Force, there were significant improvement in the camera app! ;)
Like 1080p 60fps, front facing camera with beautification enhancement, shutter button and more...
I wonder will the Moto Z camera app "unlocks" the 60fps video recording for Moto X Style / Pure? :confused:

[REQUEST] Any chance of getting the Moto G4/G4 Plus camer app over to Moto X Pure?

I tried the Moto G4 at a store recently and really hated the display, so I decided to take advantage of the pricing for the Amazon Prime deal today and pickup the Pure X. One thing that I do like on the Moto G4+ is the advanced options in the Camera app, as well as the dedicated shutter button!

Any chance this can be ported over to Moto X Pure?

Oneplus 3 or Moto X Pure (coming from an Amazon fire phone)

Hey all

I searched and found one thread similar to this but was hoping to revisit since the OP3 has been out a little longer.

I had an LG G3. Worst phone ever. Screen stopped working so I had to root my Amazon Fire Phone with CM. As much as I'm enjoying the small form factor of this phone, there are a number of issues. I can't take good photos, no mute, no updates, can't talk on speakerphone etc.

Tonight I went ahead and ordered the Moto X pure 32GB with moto care for so thiats 9 total. I then came across the OP3 and it peaked my interest so wondering whether it's a good move. As much good as I read about the OP3 in terms of performance, I read a lot of negatives. Wifi/Bluetooth issues, colour issues, bad speaker, bad video, bad RAM management, slow updates etc.

I want a phone that works well and had good specs so, to those who know, who you recommend sticking with a slightly outdated moto that works well all round or go for the OP3 with its glitches and all?

HELP With Soft-Bricked Moto X Pure

Unlocked the bootloader of my moto x pure and flashed twrp on it. I also installed cyanogenmod 13 onto my phone and everything was working fine, up until I tried using the encrypt feature in the cyanogenmod settings. I started the process, but after over 36 hours of it not finishing and staying in the booting screen I realized there was a problem. I cut the failed process short and from then on my phone would only ever stay in that same screen when powered it on. I tried restoring a backup as well as reinstalling the system, but when I try restoring it says there is an
"Error opening: '/data' (I/O error)".
When I try reinstalling cyanogenmod, twrp says it is successful but it stays in a bootloop, permanently showing the picture of the cyanogenmod guy.
