Can't import contacts to phone memory on Motorola X Pure

Hello,

Purchased a Moto X Pure recently and was able to get the bootloader unlocked and TWRP installed. I found a custom ROM
on here that is identical to what was on the phone minus bloat. I am trying to restore my contacts from my storage card
but it won't give me the option to import to phone memory, just an email account. I have been able to import
to phone memory from my other android phones which is why I like this over Apple. Not sure if this is enough info
so let me know if not. Just looking to not have to put contacts onto a gmail account, I prefer not to sync. Thanks.

Old Verizon Motorola Droid X: Delayed phone dialing

An old but working fine Verizon Motorola Droid X insists on waiting 10 minutes before it dials any phone number. But wait! If I dial ten numbers, it dials each of them after 10 minutes. Might be a neat way of annoying some asshole all night! Yeah, right. Not serious. What causes this and can it be turned on and off? Much prefer it to be off.

Have already tried ""Android Recover" and BPHW Bypass Diag and Boot" options by holding PowerON with Down Volume and then Down Volume to select these options.

Many thanks gang.

Can't flash stock image from Motorola

I've just received the stock firmware image from Motorola. I'm trying to return it to stock since theyve approved my request for an rma. I tried the return to stock tool but realized it was a 5.0 image and the wifi doesn't work. Now, when I try to flash the official image , flashing the gtp partition returns a remote failure. Does anyone know why this is?

Motorola Droid Turbo (Verizon) Unlock Bootloader.

Hi,

I am trying to unlock the bootloader of my Droid Turbo with the sunshine method but I get:

"Sunshine only supports the Droid Turbo on the SU4TL-44 (5.1) kernel. Please update or flash the correct kernel (3.10.40-perf-g90ddf4a) and try again."

I already checked my kernel and I have 3.10.40-perf-g90ddf4a.

What is going on?

I was able to get root permissions.

Thanks.

RSD Lite for Mac and Linux Flash Stock Motorola Firmware

RSD Lite Tool For Mac and Linux
Attachment 3812978
This tool is designed to flash stock Motorola firmware just like you can with Motorola's program RSD Lite but on Mac and Linux machines.
What it does is looks at the XML files that come with Motorola firmware like the servicefile.xml and the flashfile.xml then coverts them all to fastboot commands it also checks the MD5 of all the firmware files just like rsd lite.

If you want to learn more and see some examples of how this is all done check HERE

Shout out to Liboicl awesome work buddy

Lenovo VIbe Shot or Motorola Moto X(2nd gen)?

Hey guys I'm new here, and I just want to ask, which is better among the two. I read a lot of good reviews about Moto X, but its down side was the camera and the battery life. Whereas in Vibe Shot, they said that it has a good camera and I think better battery life. I'm more focus on the camera and the battery life, which do you think has better of it?

[ROM][6.0.1_r46][UNOFFICIAL] TeamHorizon: XenonHD for Motorola Moto G 2013 (falcon)

XENONHD UNOFFICIAL FALCON BUILDS.
http://www.xenonhd.com/

XenonHD is a custom firmware aka ROM for various Android devices. It is built from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) with additional features, performance and battery life improvements.

The idea behind XenonHD is to give users a ROM that is "blazing fast, rock stable and buttery smooth".

How to use Layers Theme Engine

To use the layers theme engine please follow this guide in the YouTube video, but remember you already have the layers app built in to this rom, so you don't need to worry about joining the community or downloading the beta. See the XDA page below for available themes (you can also go to the Google play store and search "layers themes" - if you install themes from the play store make sure you open the theme after downloading and follow instructions from there)
Official MEGA RRO Layers Overlays Collection
Here is the youtube guide https://youtu.be/jfsVp57CSnY

Flashing Instructions

To install this ROM you will need to have a latest custom Recovery such as TWRP or PhilZ installed.
  1. Copy the downloaded ROM to your phone.

  2. Boot into your recovery

  3. Back up your ROM

  4. Enter recovery

  5. Make a full wipe (system, data, cache, dalvik). If you're updating ROM or have other 6.0 already you don't need to wipe data (wipe system, cache, dalvik)

  6. Install the ROM

  7. Install GAPPS package

  8. Reboot - the first boot can take up to 5 minutes

Update Internet explorer mobile or Operation System on Motorola MC9060 ?

Hello, a client of mine has an ERP System and a java based web app that communicates with their scanners.
Some of them like the Motorola MC9060 seem to work on a to old operation system or at least their Internet Explorer doesnt support the web app.
I was curious if anyone had tried to upgrade such a device from Microsoft Pocket PC 4.20.0 Pach level Build 14053
to something more newer like Microsoft Windows CE 6.00 Pach level 2.32.0004 ?
Or maybe just update the Internet Explorer on the device?

What i observed was that the app worked on an internet explorer 6 or higher only that these devices run on ie4.
Does any one of you know maybe a solution to update or just any browser i could try to install on them that would work?

thank you in advance

Black screen after motorola logo, after flashing firmware. [Moto g xt 1032]

My phone - Moto G XT1032 Perú
I updated my phone to 5.0.2 official via OTA.. And then unlocked by bootloader...
Everything was working fine, after few days, phone suddenly stopped working.
I restarted my phone and after that, every time after moto boot animation, it always gets stuck at a black screen, showing nothing

I tried all the tutorial of Reverting back to stock firmware.. I tried flashing following files via both fastboot and mfastboot... Everything gets flashed successfully without any error.

tried to flash :
XT1032_FALCON_RETBR_5.1_LPB23.13-56_cid12_CFC.xml.zip
XT1032_FALCON_AMXPE_5.1_LPBS23.13-56-2_cid12_CFC.xml.zip
I tried to downgrade to, XT1032_RETAIL-AR_4.4.4_KXB21.14-L1.40_37_cid12_CFC_1FF.xml.zip

.Everything gets flashed successfully without any error.

Still same problem persists.. Phone does not starts after moto boot animation and stucks at a black screen..

Fastboot results in Cmd after flashing :
