Is Note 7 charges faster than Note 5?

I've seen some pictures show the new AFC charger for Note 7 rates at 25w, battery capacity remains at 3500mAh, compared with Note 5 and S7, the charging speed would be much faster, however, i doubt the 3500mAh battery could endure the fast charge of 25w.

Can anyone confirm if the bootloader on the tmobile note 7 has a locked bootlooder.I'm guessing that it probably is locked but I need to confirm it first before buying one.

Galaxy Note 3 Hardware and ROM editing.

So I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 model SM-N9002 -- it's the same device as the other htle models, except it has dual SIM capability. It also appears to have the same MicroUSB 3.0 port.
I've tried installing a CyanogenMod based N9005 ROM, and it worked out except for the Dual SIM, obviously; I tried turning it on with [setprop persist.radio.multisim.config dsds] and that just put both the slots out of order; and the MicroUSB port didn't work either, for whatever reason.

I've "fixed" it by resetting to stock ROM, but is there a way I can get these working on my device? Perhaps by editing variables in build.prop or something?

Unlock the Note 4 to use other sim AGAIN?

Guys, I use the method in the ATT Note 4 forum to unlock my phone when it came out long time ago. Now after 5.1.1 and security updates. No more unlocked (asking for codes when putting Tmobile sim again). Any one knows the thread to unlock this phone again to use with other GSM carriers?

Note 4 microphone doesn't work anymore after marshmallow update

Hi guys, almost a week ago, i've decided to update my phone (by OTA) from lollipop to marshmallow. But, after doing that, the microphone has stopped working. I cant sent audio messages, record video or use all the app that works with microphone ("OK google" or S voice for example). The strange thing is that when i make a call (or respond to an incoming one) the microphone works, letting me respond to the interlocutor. Before posting here, i've checked app "microphone authorization" and they all were enabled. I've also tried to uninstall&install again whatsapp (the texting app that i use most), but nothing have changed yet. So I'm here asking for your help, hoping that maybe with your suggestion i can finally solve this problem. :o:o

Mi 5 pro vs redmi note 3

Hey everyone, i had recently bought a S7 edge and now unfortunately the screen is shattered. Being a new phone the screen is bloody expensive and costing around 1100 aed (UAE dirham). So I am thinking of replacing it once the device is a little older. In the mean time I want a spare phone. Confused between Mi 5 (1400 aed) vs Redmi Note 3 (650 aed).

My usage is very basic - social networking (fb and whatsapp), movie streaming (cinema box/show box/kodi), casting youtube etc on my smart tv and spotify. I play no games (android games are full of adware).

So guys do you think i should shell double the money for a Mi 5 pro? I just expect the phone to run smoothly and not lag much.

Basically for Miui. it resembles a lot like a jailbroken iPhone and that's the major attraction (themes and stuff).

DAC, USB sound cards and Note 4

Yesterday, just out of curiosity, tried to plug in my PC headset to the Note 4. The headset is a Creative Tactic 3D sigma, an average to low-end headset with an equally low-end external USB card. So, I plugged a USB OTG adapter on the phone, then the external USB to the adapter and then the headphones. It worked! The sound was far worse than the phone's, low volume and very "empty", but the thing is that itw worked.
So, it got me thinking what would happen, if I had a better external USB card. Would this be a viable option, compared to an external DAC? Has anybody else tried something like that?

Is the thumbscanner as good or kinda as good as the S6 one?
Does the thumbscanner work with Lastpass?
How many fingerprints can be registered on the thumbscanner, under Android 6 for Note 4?
Does the Note 4 have built in wireless charging mat, or do I need to buy another one, like my Note 2
How is the microphone on the Note 4 when used handsfree, mine is TERRIBLE on my Note 2.

Hi Everyone, I've read many post on this Forum and its helped alot but I just registered because I am stumped and gotten tired of looking and finding dead ends.........Ok so my wife gave me her Note 3 when she got her upgrade and I updated it to Lollipop 5.0 without thinking i ever wanted to root. Now I'm wanting to and I know Kingo Root dont work. I've been looking around and somewhat found out that I have to downgrade using Odin and root then update if I'm not mistaken, but I'm wanting to make sure I;m doing everything right.

Bricked Note 3, Odin won't recognize device

So I'm trying to fix a friends bricked note 3, however Odin v3.07 will not recognize the device. I've downloaded samsung kies, however its still not working, not even my PC would recognize the device. The cable and ports are definitely not the issue, since my other phone can be recognized. Any help would be appreciated, thanks :).

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Phone's Music Player & SD card

Updated to the #MarshmallowUpdate version 6.0.1. My Samsung Galaxy Note 4 phone's music is ALL stored on my SD card. With this update, every time I restart my phone, my ringtones & music playlist erases itself. Any good music apps that would keep the ringtones, notifications, & at the very least, my music playlist on it's internal memory, without having the music stored internally?
