Is Note 7 charges faster than Note 5?

I've seen some pictures show the new AFC charger for Note 7 rates at 25w, battery capacity remains at 3500mAh, compared with Note 5 and S7, the charging speed would be much faster, however, i doubt the 3500mAh battery could endure the fast charge of 25w.

Stuck on "erasing", took longer than 24 hours and still stuck.

(NOTE: My phone is not rooted)

My ASUS Zenfone 2 is stuck at the "erasing" screen. When I started the factory reset, it went to the "erasing" screen. After reading other threads, I thought it was normal to format between 12-24 hrs. It has been about 28 hours, with my phone plugged in while formatting, and it is still stuck...

All methods, including hard reset and recovery mode took me back to the same screen, and still stuck. Can anyone help me? :crying:

, and when i wrote to them 3 days ago still didn't get any answer. So I was just thinking is there any other way to unlock bootloader?
I was thinking about using something like kingoroot to get root access, then getting some kind of custom recovery, then getting normal root and getting rid of kingo, but have no idea will it work and how to get it to work. Any ideas? Or should i just stay with unrooted p8....

What to root S5 g900f other than SuperSU

Does anyone have another way to root my Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900F , android version 5.0 other than SuperSU ？
SuperSU wont grant root access to one of my app even i did it manually.I wonder Kingroot supporting my device or not, tried it but failed.Please help me thank you.

Since we are close to China, I think I'm getting a China model. What's bugging me is I don't know if custom ROMs posted in OP3 Android Development sections will compatible with China model. I came from a device which have 14 different models with single-dual sim & regional mixed it's all so confusing that I ended up flashing incompatible ROMs several times. Can anyone help me confirm that please?

Unable to flash custom ROMs newer than 4.4.4

So I have an old SPH L710 that received its last OTA update before June 2014. Its 4.4.2. I've since moved on to another phone and this S3 is strictly for WiFi at home. No service provider. I'm a tech nerd building and repairing computers for the last 25 years so naturally learning how to gain root access and tweak got my attention. I've been a XDA lurker since 2012 BTW and have learned a lot just by reading. Today I need help that I can't seem to find by reading.

About a month ago I thought it would be fun to root my S3. Towelrooted, flashed Super SU, removed Knox and updated binary. Then I flashed Busy Box. All went very smooth and off I went to play and learn by reading these awesome forums.

After a couple a couple if weeks I decided to try some custom ROMs. I installed Odin on my laptop and TWRP on my SD card. Flashing TWRP via Odin went fine. Then I tried several ROMs that are specifically for my device. I wanted to try some of the Lollipop or Marshmallow ROMs. I followed the instructions exactly as I should, but I couldn't get any of them to work. Every ROM I tried put me in a boot loop. I was seeing unusual text in TWRP like, couldn't mount data and md5 not found while they were in the process of flashing.

So I decided to look for some older ROMs and found SlimKat 4.4.4
Followed the instructions and flashed ROM with Gapps usingTWRP and it worked! I don't understand why I can't flash newer ROMs on this phone. Is there something I've overlooked or is there additional files I need to flash first?

Sorry for the long post. Its late and I really want to try a newer ROM. SlimKat is awesome. My battery lasts MUCH longer and system is zippy. The only thing I don't like is Superuser is included with the ROM. Super SU is what I prefer, but unfortunately I'm stuck with it I until I find a solution to successfully flash a more up to date ROM.

Samsung Galaxy S7 only moves less than 20% of the app to sd card.

I tried moving "The Room" an App nearly 217 MB and I saw only 20-25 MB of it moved to SD card.
Same with NOVA - I saw a very small chunk moved to SD Card.

In storage you'll see application storage is external, however in reality, its just a small chunk and majority of application is stored internally.

Really upset from this.

Unable to root or use device other than for WI fi please help

Okay so I have a Note 3 SM-N900T Version 5.0. Though T-Mobile. Well, about a month ago I was informed since my ex boyfriend who is currently in jail has been unable to make payments they have put a block on the device. Earlier I found a thread on removing the block through an xda application. I followed instructions but since my device is not rooted I was unable to achieve my goal. I have tryed.once to root my device since the day they put the block on. It's not stolen so it's not blacklisted just blocked until the bill gets paid. Even though I am able to use WI fi and connect to the Internet this device will not root. I have two other devices grand prime and avant and have rooted both with ease. Only thing is ...I want my note to be my primary phone. Please help.

Do you think that 1+3 is better than a S6

moved from a g4 to a g5 - photos looks worst than g4, how is it possible ?

I had my LG G4 for about a year and I loved it. although i replaced it once because of the famous boot-loop problem but still, it was a good phone in my opinion. one of the things that i liked about him the most it's his camera. every time i took a picture i felt it was really mind-blowing and quality wise it was really amazing comparable to other phones on the market. so i thought to myself - why not upgrade to g5 ? had a nice trade-in deal and i did it.
well? the phone is good - battery life amazing compared to g4, screen is clean and nice, fingerprint sensor is amazing, speed and usability is amazing.. but the camera ? meh. didn't really liked it. yes, the 135 degrees camera is a really nice gimmick but the standard 16mp camera doesn't the same pictures as my g4 used to take. i'm really frustrated about this thing since camera quality is one of the most important feature to me.
i'm really considering a downgrade to G4 or maybe buying a v10 (which camera features is really off the hook with the manual video mode).

any thoughts ? someone upgraded from a v10 ? someone feels the way i do ?

Rooted Battery life worse than stock?

What has everyone's battery life been so far on root?

Preroot I was getting over a day with 6sot and 16 percent
Android drain.

After rooting with the eng kernel it has dipped a lot with high android system drain. Have not used amplify and greenify yet. Just been used my tweaks I did on pd7 kernel.

Thoughts?

Phone does not stay at fastboot or recovery screen for more than 2 seconds

Till now my device was working fine,i changed the phone's theme and left it aside. For checking something I tried unlocking my phone and it suddenly restarted and since then it is restarting again and again I tried everything "The volume down+ Power" and Volume Up+Power for Fastboot and recovery respectively but it doesnt stays at the same screen for more than 2 seconds and restarts every bit and then. I am really helpless.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I am also attaching a log file...when I tried using MiFlash in a case when it stayed at the fastboot window for a while..it never finished and all of a sudden after a few minutes it again restarted and the same thing is happening again as I have mentioned above.:eek:

Snapdragon 625 more powerful than 652?

So yeah, I realize the 652 has a more powerful GPU, but in terms of CPU, it looks to be more powerful and nearly on par with the 820, even though I merely grabbed a random result for the 625 while I picked the 652's best score.
