Can't get the phone to recognize data connection through USB port

Sadly i had to come to the painful conclusion that my problem relies at this point on the data detection of the phone itself.
I have read tons of tutorials pointing to adb or fastboot upgrades and different stuff and methods to update. I'm stuck in 2.20.40.139 and cannot find an update within the OS. I will enumerate now the things i see in order to clarify this situation.

_USB debugging on or off makes no difference.
_MTP or the other mode returns nothing. No detection on device manger in windows.
_Phone always charges when plugged to USB ports.
_Tried 4 cables and 3 pc's all of them tested with other phones and tablets.
_On fastboot mode nothing happens and device is nowhere to be found.
_ADB is the same. adb devices shows nothing for this.
_Recovery returns an error as if it tries to update something that isn't there MOFD_SUPDATE.zip
_after that error i get into recovery pressing power+vol up for a few seconds.
_did a factory reset on the phone and wipes in recovery.
_copied file in root of the phone. Detected the update. failed when trying to apply.
_bootloader in fastboot shows unknown. serial is 0123456789ABCDEF or something like that (serial was ok before i used the bootloader unlocker from ASUS website)

i can't think anything else for this right now... it's really driving me crazy since android works without an issue. Phone is not rooted or even has been tried to root.

If someone knows or can think anything regarding this please help me out. There's nothing i like more to share thoughts and ideas to have this updated.

Thanks in advance,

Bricked Note 3, Odin won't recognize device

So I'm trying to fix a friends bricked note 3, however Odin v3.07 will not recognize the device. I've downloaded samsung kies, however its still not working, not even my PC would recognize the device. The cable and ports are definitely not the issue, since my other phone can be recognized. Any help would be appreciated, thanks :).
(if it helps, usb debugging isn't on)

Hard bricked. Won't charge, PC doesn't recognize

Hard bricked. Found my phone in my car. It's been through the cold and hot weather. It's an old phone, but I would like to revive it.

Won't turn on. Can't charge. I tried a new battery..same applies.

Also, PC and Odin does not recognize it. Any help?

Phone was rooted with AllianceRom. No signs of wear/leaking on the battery. Was working perfectly before I abandoned it...:(

[UNLOCK] [H815] Fastboot won't recognize my LG G4 in fastboot mode...

First I must say, I searched all over the internet for answer to this problem. None of the topics I read had matched my problem.

I want to unlock my bootloader so I can flash custom recovery and get root access.

When I want to access the bootloader ("adb reboot bootloader"), in my phone all goes fine (I see on my phone the Fastboot instructions, etc). The problem is in my computer that fastboot won't recognise my phone anymore. When I want to get the device-id, fastboot is stuck on "waiting for all devices". When I want to see the list of devices, ("fastboot devices"), I get nothing, wether my phone is on bootloader mode or not.

I installed all the LG drivers, including the ADB one. I am in USB debugging mode, and I disabled OEM protection.

Android version is Lollipop.

I need help on this matter, thanks in advance.

Computer doesnt recognize ZenFone Max

I tired EVERYTHING, and simply get get any of my computers to see the zenfone max.

When I plug the phone into any computer, nothing will show up on the computer side, and on the phone side it says charging.
-Yes I enable developer mode
-Yes I tried USB debugging on and off
-Yes I tried the usb options for Charging, MTP, PTP, MIDI
-Yes I enabled unknown sources
-Yes I tried 5 different cables
-Yes I factory reset the device twice and same thing

I tried all the options above, all in different sequence, and still nothing.
On both windows and linux machines it doesn't show up when I try "adb devices", and on linux when I try "lsusb".

Really stuck on a crossroads here if anyone can shed any light..

6.0.1 Marshmallow Removes Data Toggle (slow/faiLs to recognize mobile network)

So, I knew updating to Marshmallow 6.0.1 would do this, and, I was purposely holding off until I could find an answer on how to restore the Data Toggle option.

But, AT&T and or Samsung are trying to be like M$, and low and behold, they ninja-updated my phone without my explicit agreement........

SO..... Now I'm stuck with this crap situation of not having a Data Toggle option.

Anyways, Now I noticed the following behavior:

When I have WIFI on, I then turn it off.
Doing this should automatically kick in my mobile provider data service.
Yet, it takes forever to kick in. Up to 10minutes!
There's like not way to force it to be enabled instantly once I disable WIFI.

I reset my network settings and still has the same issue.
It seems for some reason the phone just doesn't want to immediately initiate attempting to connect to my mobile network after I disable WIFI.

Anyone else notice this? and or can provide some pointers to get that data toggle back?

CM13+TWRP - Installation error, bootloop, PC doesn't recognize phone via USB

Moto G XT1032

Hello,
I hope that you understand my English. I am kind of a layman concerning Android, but still wanted to install Cyanogenmod 13. I followed these instructions (can't post them apparently since I am new). Official instructions on the CM website. (Bootloader was already unlocked because I already installed Cyanogenmod 12, went back to Stock ROM and now tried to install CM13). Like alwas there were some minor errors during the first steps, but I handled them alright, I think.
The real problem started when I tried to install the zip-file of CM13 ("Installing CyanogenMod from recovery", step 8). I followed the instructions (wipe etc.), but the installation stopped at "Patching system image unconditionally" and it said something like "missing md5-file" although the file I downloaded on the TWRP website was right next to the recovery .img.
After trying and trying I started to go through the options in TWRP recovery (which was a fault, I know) and wiped some things that probably should not have been wiped. Next error message was: "unable to mount /system". New problem.

Then I thought, I might try the recovery that was right next to the downloadlink of the CM13 firmware. Installed it succesfully and tried again some things, now I have a bootloop and can't shut off the phone. When I shut it off, 1 second later the Google-screen with the open lock appears again". The only help was to manually shut it off with recovery.
I can't even start Android anymore, which means I can't activate USB-debugging, the installation files of CM13 are missing and the main problem: my PC only recognizes the phone in fast boot mode - I can't move files to the phone, it just says in the task bar: "Fastboot falcon S".
As soon as I enter recovery mode, the USB-sign on Windows vanishes.
Tried to move the files to the devices by "adb push cm-13.0-20160703-NIGHTLY-falcon.zip /scard", but it says "* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
* daemon startet successfully *
adb: error: connect failed: no devices/emulators found"

The device is not recognized by "fastboot devices" in cmd.

I hope that you understood everything. Already tried to get help in German forums, but nobody answered there.
And yeah, I definitely stopped trying to solve it by myself because I might just destroy it more.

Thanks for your help!

Unable to recognize MTP mode on computer

So as a start to this, the phone is recognizable when running adb devices, I can see it listed there. However, when trying to use the phone in MTP mode, it tells me that there is not a suitable driver.

What I have tried so far:
  1. Uninstalling device in Device Manager on Windows 10

  2. Reboot both phone and laptop

  3. Downloading the latest driver version from Google

  4. Turning off USB Debugging on the 6P

  5. Connecting phone

  6. Attempt to use recently downloaded USB Driver on phone

So when all that is said and done, I get the following screens attached below.
https://imgur.com/a/gni6o

I also tried using this guide to find a MTP Device:
http://www.howtogeek.com/195607/how-...er-if-it-isnt/

But that does not exist in either the latest zip download of the USB drivers, or the Google SDK drivers.
I only have the option for:
Android ADB Interface
Android Bootloader Interface
Android Composite ADB Interface

Could anyone provide me with some ideas?

EDIT: I have also tried two USB cables, both have the same issue. The Nexus 6P OEM Cable, and the iOrange Cable.
