It's almost the same that happened to this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexu...00000-t3257465 with the difference that he had a nexus 6 and solved it correcting the permissions of /persist partition and I dont have that partition.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

[Help Needed] Unable to enter into the download mode

hello
i messed up with my device and i can't mount any of the partitions nor unable to enter into the download mode to flash stock rom...
please help me...

Thank You....

Unable to get root process to work right

I am currently following below process for flashing and rooting my device.

1) open sp flash tool. select Scatter file from target.bin in stock rom.

2) connect phone without battery and select firmware upgrade to go back to stock.

3) once starting download, put battery in the phone.

4) use marshmallow update zip in cwm recovery on phone. rename it to update.zip and install from recovery.

5) factory reset the phone after update.

6) install k3 note manager to root the device. simply click root.

7) do another factory reset.

After this, technically, I should be on stock rom with Marshmallow update, and rooted device. But, after I finish this, I am facing below problems:
1) I am unable to apply that wifi patch to fix battery issue. It reboots to TWRP recovery, and in recovery, there is no option for update or any zip file to flash.
2) NVRAM data is lost. I can write that data, but no idea why it is getting lost in first place.
3) Even after root, most apps are unable to use root access.

Can you guys help me get the device to official rom with root? What step am I missing here?

Unable to Disable Reactivation Lock but can Login

I have a SM-G900V currently running stock PB1 unrooted and a locked bootloader. My s5 also has Cid with 15 so I am able to unlock. My end goal is to have mm rooted and unlocked bootloader with custom recovery. ;)

Now the issue,

The Reactivation Locked is enabled/checked in security settings with my account which I am able to log into both from a PC and while doing a full reset using ODIN or from stock recovery. During reset it makes me login to setup my phone and I do and move forward with setting up my phone. If I go into Settings/Security and turn off reactivation it asks me to login so I do. It says I'm logged in but the check is still there. It actually disappears then reappears right away.

I have done a dozen full on wipes/resets of both the internal and external SD card using odin but nothing seems to let me disable reactivation so that I can get to MM rooted and unlocked bootloader.

Anyone got any pointers? :)

Unable to run android fastboot even after replacing the screen

Hello!
At its OPO I changed the display the frame and battery. Installation went without any problems. Unfortunately, after launching the phone started only Cyanogen Recovery. Display and touch functions entirely without any problems. So I wanted to re-install CM13, but the phone does not run fastboot. You can not run from Cyanogen Recovery or VOL + POWER-UP. The phone always starts to Cyanogen Recovery. I tried this yet through ADB, phone are detected as recovery (so drivers are probably fine), but when you try to fastboot command ends "Device waiting." Thank you in advance for your help and answers.

Steps followed:
1) Checked hardware info- ARMv7
2) Downloaded the relevant framework based on processor info
3) Downloaded the xposed installer
4) Flashed zip and installed xposed

This process did not work for me, as I might be either referring to the wrong set of files or following a wrong procedure.
Could anyone assist me on the same

Unable to use phone abroad, Help flashing with ODIN

I`ve already posted in the longstanding q&a thread but I`m still unable to get this to work.
Encryption failed error appeared whilst in Japan, had to use a friend`s computer [so every program comes out in Japanese..] after soft and hard resets, recovery mode wiping didn`t work.
My problems are, in recovery mode it hangs on formatting cache,
Kies wouldn:t recognise or at least connect to it,
and after finding the exact firmware Kies was seeking, via sammobile,
[I9300XXUGNB5_I9300ORAGML2_I9300BVUGNB2_HOME.tar.md 5]
it still won`t work with ODIN 3.9 as it flashes and in two seconds said nand start, FAIL!

I have to translate in my head every program I`m using, but I`m convinced it`s the right firmware and I extracted it properly, albeit via WinRAR. Softbank wifi makes any big downloads tortuously slow also. Any ideas??:confused:

Fingerprint unlock noise - unable to disable

As the title states, i cant find an option to disable this and its very annoying. There used to be an option in the fingerprint section but its now gone.

The general unlock noise off/on doesn't work and I dont get a noise if I unlock with PIN, this noise (dong), only occurs when I unlock with fingerprint.

Bug or deleted option on latest update?

Unable to make receive calls on 3S

I received my new Redmi 3S yesterday. I've played with it for hours and everything is working fine. Can send and receive SMS, internet is working, recognizes the SIM, the carrier and my number. But when I make a call it gets stuck on "dialling" until it looses all connection bars, and when I call my number I go straight to answering machine. I cannot access calling settings/features either, I get some sort of error.

I tried a factory reset, removed the SIM and reinstalled it a couple of times. Phone is not rooted, bootloader is locked, ROM is MIUI Global 7.3 STABLE | 7.3.10.0.0 (MALCNDE). Any help appreciated

Unable to flash stock firmware

Hello, my SM-G935A is rooted, and I have 2 issues with it. Firstly, I'm unable to receive texts or phone calls (I can send them), and I've tried a factory reset and I even got a new SIM, but nothing worked. I think if I flash stock firmware, it might fix the issue. Second problem, when I go into download mode and select my AP in Odin and press start, my phone gets an error and Odin freezes at Initialization.
Any help would be appreciated. I would prefer to fix the texting issue, as I don't want to return the phone to ATT. In either case, the Odin issue needs to be fixed

XPERIA XA battery unable to charge while in use

Hello all,

I've recently bought an Xperia XA and have been satisfied with the device itself, i know its a new phone and we could await some updates, but what i encountered last night made me create an account here and ask.

I was low on battery, basically 1% and attached it to the charger i received with the phone itself, thus the phone goes into normal mode no battery saving or stamina, nothing and no third party apps installed for it. I started browsing Instagram, through google chrome, and even though the phone was charging it couldn't get up even 1% for the time I was on it, basically 30mins almost.

Now, your thoughts, I see on the forums the battery drains fast, cannot basically use it without stamina mode, but do you think that this is 'normal' or should I go back and ask for a different device?
Do you think the updates to the system itself will solve the problems in the future? I was on an Xperia M2 before and was really satisfied, battery lasted whole day no stamina mode, no problem. And from the specifications I read its supposed to have a good battery(XA).

Thank you,

Friction

Unable to Access TWRP Recovery Mode

I am unable to access recovery mode in my Samsung Note 4 Intl' Version.

Whenever I tries to boot into recovery mode, the Andriod robot Icon in the center just kept blinking with 3 seconds interval, and it just keeps repeating.

I tried ways to unbrick this soft bricked phone but to no avail. I wish to fix this so I can install another ROM on my phone.

I tried flahsing via ODIN too. It is a pass. However, booting into recovery mode still end up with the same results.

Please assist. Thank you so much.

Unable to find stock recovery image for Huawei ascend mate 7

Good evening all :)

I am having a bit of trouble finding a suitable stock image to remove TWRP from my Mate 7.
I need to remove TWRP, so I can upgrade my phone's firmare to the latest version. Unfortunatly I have not been able to find a stock recovery image for my phone specific. It is a b331 model for MT7-L09.

It would be very much appriciated if someone can find this image.

Unable to install TeamViewer QS add-on on CM11

Hi

I've installed the last nightly build of CM11 (11-20160612) on my Samsung Captivate, then TeamViewer Host. Everything works fine and I can connect my cell with TV.

If I try to get remote access, a message on the cell invite me to install Quick support add-on. After few seconds : error : app not installed (without any details). I install "QS add-on : Samsung" from Google Play Store but no change.

Some messages in forum propose to get the apk from download directory and manually move to \sys . The "downloaded apk" doesn't exist in my case.

My cell is rooted and SU installed.

Any idea ?
