Root and flash CM 13 in Huawei GR5 ( KII L21)

I just updated my Huawei GR5 to Marshmallow , it's great but I want to use CM 13 in this phone. I am a little new at this so if anyone can provide me with the info on how I can root this phone (as it may not be popular) ,how to unlock bootloader, flash twrp, get CM for GR5 (KII L21 variant) and flash it?
And please give instructions to revert back to stock firmware if things dont work out.

Help unbricking my huawei p8

Hello everyone, I have a huawei p8 vodafone it branded.
I decided to root it, unblocked the bootloader and everything was good so far...
I tried to flash a custom recovery but failed for some reason and I decided to stick with stock recovery.
Now I installed an app as system app and my phone got bricked. :( my fault..
At first It went trough a bootloop and I was not able to access the huawei recovery or the fastboot, after a while it started to boot into a error message where it was saying that it was impossible to read user data partition, and give me some choices like backup, update to the latest version, or data factory.. I choose data factory twice but it went trough a bootloop again only to give me back to the same page after a while.
I can access huawei erecovery but it gives me getting info package failed when it says that I have to update it with wifi.
I can access fastboot mode and it says me that the phone is unlocked.
I really don't know what to do as I'm not expert, I tried to read various topics but never saw anyone with this message where it was saying impossible to read user data partition..
I had emui 3.1 5.1.1 with vodafone it brand... In case I have to flash it which firmware I should look for? Or is there a way to get my phone alive again without flashing?

Huawei Ascend Mate 7 L09 vs. TL10

Hi there!

So I want to order a LCD replacement for my Huawei MT7 L09 but can only find LCDs labled Mt7 TL10... What are the differences between these two model versions? After Googling it looks like the only difference is the bandwidth of frequencies the phone can pick up? Still not sure though... Will a TL10 replacement screen work on a L09?

Can't find ROM for my huawei Phone

I recently received a Huawei GR3 Dual SIM LTE TAG-L23 that was soft bricked. apparently someone tried to flash a ROM from a different model (TAG-L21 or TAG-L22) with no luck. i have been searching for a while to find a custom/stock ROM, but i haven't been able to find even one. i even tried the huawei pages, but there wasn't even a mention of this model.

Can someone please help me to find a ROM that this model can use? thanks in advance

Huawei Honor 4C Update Failed (Need help)

A few days ago i got an update to my huawei honor 4c phone and since i really liked the new features i decided to download the 1.25 gb update and press install , but after that it gave me some kind of error and i did not see what it said , then it restarted. I did it like 10 times from that day but still the same thing. I need help please cause i wasted a lot of storage. Help is necessary please .
UPDATE: i noticed the error said something about Status 7.

Huawei Honor 7

I rooted my huawei honor 7 with android 6.0. It wroked fine and bootloader was unlocked, twrp was successfully installed and working. after I installed supersu through twrp and rebooted, screen is black, it has power and there is light in screen but black, twrp and fastboot is working fine. need help getting the mobile working

Help for update Huawei Ascend G7 L01 to Android 5

I bought Ascend G7 L01 few days ago.
And when i turn it on i get an 29 mb update, and after update that i search for update and no new updates!
So, i want update that to android 5.
This is my phone info:

Custom Version CUSTC185D001

I need a safe method to update my phone.
I appreciate that if anyone show me a safe method to update my phone.
I read lots of ways to update it but i get little confused about Build Number and Custom Version and i don't know which firmware is work on my phone.

How to hack Huawei ID???

Huawei Honor 7i, no "Android" folder on PC.

Stock Huawei Honor 7i 5.1.1 , not rooted.

So on my PC (Win 10 Pro) with installed SDK and drivers I'm missing only 2 folders that I can see on my phone but can't on my PC – "Android" and "system".
Already tried clearing cache and data from Media Storage and External Storage, rebooting etc. When I try to create "Android" folder on my PC it doesn't change name from "New Folder".

Everything on SD card shows up as it suppsed to, even "Android" folder.

My Huawei is rooted, with bootloader unlock and TWRP. I have flash something to get the gyroscope, no problem.

, and when i wrote to them 3 days ago still didn't get any answer. So I was just thinking is there any other way to unlock bootloader?
I was thinking about using something like kingoroot to get root access, then getting some kind of custom recovery, then getting normal root and getting rid of kingo, but have no idea will it work and how to get it to work. Any ideas? Or should i just stay with unrooted p8....

[Q] Huawei GR-5 back to stock problems, can someone help?

As the title says, i am currently trying to get back stock and update it to MM build to get latest version of CM13 rom. But tried every god-damn method nothing worked. It says software install failed. Tried a lot of recoveries and ROMs which are official for GR5 aka honor 5x.

Tried recoveries:

KIW-L21 B140
KIW-L21 B130
KII-L21 B130

Tried firmwares:

Huawei_GR 5_Firmware_KII-L21_Android 6.0.1_EMUI 4.0_C636B310CUSTC636D001
Honor 5X_Firmware_KIW-L21_Android 6.0.1_EMUI 4.0_C432B330CUSTC432D001_Denmark


TWRP backups are working fine. But does not updates it to marshmallow. I think i need MM TWRP backup of it. If someone has please post it below so it will help other people as well as me.

It keeps saying software update failed. Doesn't even loads %1. And if i do this process with TWRP backup or CM installed device it still does not lets me install stock firmware.

I really don't know why it does like this since all the people can able to flash it to their devices while i cannot able to do it. I am facing this issue and it bugging me a lot.

Note: Both of the KIW-L21 and KII-L21 same model since 5.1.1 works both. Yet still does not lets me update the ROM to 6.0.1. so i think i need a MM TWRP backup if possible.

Rooting the new Huawei GR3

After a frustrating and 'Wheel of Death' week, caused by the horrible Samsung Note 3 (my first and last SAMSUNG ever - can't really understand the hipe) I felt suddenly bought the relatively new Huawei GR 3. Several websites praise it as one of top medium smartphones.

I needed to root the Huawei, since all my apps + sys settings were with a Titanium Backup.
With the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, I used the super easy 'Towelroot app', but with the GR3 Towelroot didn't work .
I found the 'old' way with USB cable, a PC (switched to mac 10 years ago)and Olin etc. - too complicated.
Back to google and found this website with KingRoot to be found at cyberspaceandtime(dot)com
using
the new KingRoot App, I assume similar Towelroot

Then super easy, enable 'Install from unknown sources' in your settings, download the KingRoot..apk file to your Huawei, install and your phone is rooted.
To prove that your phone is rooted, you DL the 'SuperUser SU' app from Google Play and get the confirmation that your phone has root access. No cables, and done in less than 30min.

And by the way, I tried first to restore my apps and system settings with Titanium free version but after 5min non stop 'Ok' pressing, I organized the PRO version, which is with .02 not cheap, but worth every penny.
If you are short on cash, then you can download the Lucky Patcher for the Titanium to become the Pro version . Very important to update the general patch and the Titanium specific patch before you try to crack the app.

Can't access the Huawei site for bootloader unlock code

Hi guys, Im a new Huawei user trying to unlock my bootloader.

But i cannot access the darn site from huawei, only get "server is busy"

Is it just me or is it down for all, and if so, how can i obtain my unlock code.
i got root withdrawal anxiety xD
