How can I install xposed firmware?

Hi everyone I have a Samsung Galaxy Alpha device (G850F witx exynos) How can I install xposed firmware someone say xposed is not working on touchwiz

What rom will work with Xposed framework without getting the storage error?

Tried purenexus, and benzo, and get it on both. All I want to do is use it for mock mock locations. Can I do that even with the storage error? If not, is there a rom that doesn't mess up when you install it?

[Q] Installed module not found in Xposed module tap

Hi
Sorry if this is a noop or repeated question but I'd really appreciate some help.

As the title says, there is a module that I downloaded and able to open in apps, however, I cannot find it in module tap in xposed so I cannot activate it. All other downloaded modules are working fine except this one which is "pokemon go fake walk and location". I tried downloading it a few times either from xposed download or from the apk link directly. I get the installation window and it shows that its installed but then its not found in modules. Any ideas how to fix this?

I am running latest version of xposed framework on android 5.0 SM-G900F with custom recovery.

Many Thanks

Installed Xposed Framework zip, soft-bricked phone :(

Hey guys,

I know I know, I was stupid to try to get this working but I tried and failed. Now I'm just looking to get my old phone back and just leave it at being rooted (with custom recovery installed) and a custom rom. All 3 of these I had successfully done before I installed the framework zip which is where the problems arose.
I'll give you as much information as possible:

Phone: SM-G935F (UK version and on EE network)
Rooted with: CF-Auto-Root-hero2lte-hero2ltexx-smg935f
Custom Recovery flashed: twrp-3.0.2-2-hero2lte.img.tar
Other things flashed: UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.76-20160630161323.zip
no-verity-opt-encrypt.zip
Custom Rom flashed: KryxxOS-R1.3-G935F.zip

All of these were working and I should have stopped here but with the new Pokemon craze I really wanted Xposed installed to use the modules for it however massively regret it. I wish to get back to this point.

Zip used for Xposed: xposed-v86-sdk23-arm64.zip

Phone initially wouldn't do anything apart from show a battery (not charging (grey icon with lightening in it)) icon when connected to power. And it would ONLY do something when booting into download mode allowing me to go into it. It seemed the custom recovery was no longer working. I then tried everything, flashing back all Stock firmware for my model using ODIN and correct files for my phone (G935FXXU1APF2_G935FEVR1APE2_EVR), that didn't work. Even when installing only AP, all 4 using first HOME_CSC in the CSC and then using all 4 using the CSC file in the CSC. Then I tried using Smart Switch's recovery system, this failed also. Then I remembered hmmm, I can try to reflash my custom recovery using Odin. That WORKED. I thought great now I can do something and sure enough I could wipe my phone and access my files on my phone again when rebooted. After the reboot I tried just re-flashing the SU, the no-verify and the custom ROM thinking it would take me back. It still didn't boot. Black screen nothing. The last thing I attempted was to flash the Xposed Framework uninstaller and used this zip : xposed-uninstaller-20150831-arm64. I didn't know what this asci files were so I didn't flash them? After flashing the uninstaller, I again flashed SU, no-verify and the custom ROM. Nothing. Still nothing. However...whilst I was typing this, because my phone was connected to my PC and not stuck in DL mode or anything, it's now randomly come up with a battery charge. 3% so far but I want to wait until its higher before I risk trying to turn it on. Could it have been a dead battery all along whilst trying to fix?

I'd appreciate your help even if its to clarify that the battery seems to be the problem. I'll keep you posted with it throughout the night but if it gets sorted tonight it means I don't have to go into the city tomorrow to buy a fix. Thanks to all who post. Ask if you need anymore information.

How to install Xposed on the j700p

(Obvious words of legality, etc. I take no responsibility for anything that happens to your phone. I managed this on my own and everything worked. If you messed it up, I'm sorry, but it's not my problem)
Ok, now the good stuff! Hello all!

As you may know, user messi2050 managed to get us root on our phones (yay!). We don't yet have a custom recovery, and this is a usual requirement for Xposed, but fear not! I have figured out how to install it without a custom recovery. I'll try and be as clear as possible and provide all direct links to the files needed, but if something confuses you please let me know!

1. Root your phone

2. Download and install FlashFire

3. Samsung has weirdness associated with their roms and the way they do things under the Android hood, so you can't use the normal Marshmallow xposed module. You will need the Unofficial Xposed for Samsung Marshmallow by Wanam (HERE is a link directly to the APK you need)

4. Install the Xposed Installer for Marshmallow (Again, there is a direct link to the APK [URL="http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3383776&d=1435601440"]HERE[/URL

5. Open up FlashFire and press the (+) button. Select "Flash ZIP or OTA"

6. Choose the file downloaded in step 3

7. IMPORTANT! DESELECT "MOUNT /SYSTEM READ/WRITE"! Make sure everything is deselected! Then click the "✓"

8. Moment of truth y'all. Press the "FLASH" button at the bottom of the screen. You may get warnings, accept or clear them and continue

9. Your phone will shut down, show a bunch of text, and reboot after installing. THE REBOOT TAKES A LONG TIME, SEVERAL MINUTES AT LEAST! Don't be afraid, it will take quite a while to reboot. When it is done, it will "optimize apps" and then you should be all set!

Some xposed modules may not work for this phone! You run the risk of constant crashes and reboots with some modules. There are compatibility issues, especially if you neglect to read the warnings of each module, so read carefully! I'll give a list of modules I've installed with no issues, which will give yo a decent place to start (NOTE: There are individual settings in many of the modules, I haven't tried everything. So I can only tell you that the installation of the module is safe, NOT each setting).
  • Burnt Toast

  • Disable Fullscreen Keyboard

  • GPM Notification Seek Bar [L-M]

  • Greenify

  • Marshmallow SD Fix

  • Media Notification Seek [L-M]

  • NoSafeVolumeWarning

  • Notification Count

  • Wanam Xposed

  • XTouchWiz

If you happen to have success with any others, let us know and I'll update this list. Hope you guys enjoy, I'm so happy we finally got root and Xposed on this phone! :)

Problem with flashing Xposed

Hello xda-Community.

So yesterday i tried to flash the newest Xposed framework.
My phone is on Android 5.1.1 (sdk22) and my kernel architecture is aarch64 (arm64).
So I downloaded the framework "xposed-v86-sdk22-arm64" and tried to flash it via TWRP.
Then there was this Error:
Wrong platform: arm
This file is for: arm64

Then I tried to flash the arm version, but this just lead me into a bootloop.
I don't know what I am doing wrong.
I hope you can help me out.
Thanks :)

Trying to install Xposed framework please help

I'm trying to install the ZIP file for the framework by flashing in recovery but it always says signature verification failed installation aborted. That's in both TWRP and CWM mode. My device is an Acer Iconia One 10 running on Android 5.1.1 and the zip file is xposed-v86-sdk22-arm64.zip any thoughts?

Xposed not compatible

So I am using a rooted LG Zone 3 and I am trying to install Xposed. I keep getting an error stating: "Xposed is not (yet) compatible with Android SDK version 22 or your processor architecture (armeabi-v7a)."
Ive seen people say to use a different APK but I am new to the whole root thing and I am not sure which one to install??
I'm seeing v72-v86 and do not know which one I need or how to determine which one is needed. Any help would be appreciated!!

add CM Development Shortcuts to AOSP with Xposed?

I have an android device running AOSP 4.4.4 and I want to add CM's "App Development Shortcut" feature to it.
If you don't know what that is, when you hold down on an app in the recents screen, there is an option to force close it.
Unfortunately I can't find the CM11 source anywhere.
Can anyone help me?

Doogee X5 Pro [Xposed Framework Help]

Right. I have been doing a fair amount of research on how to install the Xposed Framwork. I am running Lolipop 5.1 and I am pretty sure all Doogee X5 Pro's run it. I haven't changed anything to do with the rom and my android is rooted using KingRoot. I only did that because it was easy to do and I didn't want to go through the bother of flashing a nand or anything. I got the installer thinking that would work[This was before I did any research about Xposed] I heard that it allowed you to use a lot of modules and improve the device so I thought.. Why not. this isn't my first time screwing around with nands and stuff with devices.
Anyhow. On to the problem at hand, To start with I think I am on a stock ROM and a lot of people are saying that I am going to need to get a custom ROM. I am not entirely sure what to do there and I am aware that most android devices are different so looking at a tutorial from someone not using the same device as me causes some issues.

I don't know which SDK to get for the framework but after doing a fair amount of looking and finding that I need armv8-a helped out a little but then I got slightly confused with the table that they made on the Xposed Framework Thread. It stated that if I was not on a TW ROM then I would need to check if the /system/lib64/ folder exists and then that would tell me what ROM to get.. I found that all a bit confusing and not very well explained so I didn't proceed because I didn't want to end up bricking my phone [So much as you can fix a soft brick. I thought I would come here first and save my self some hassle]

Model Number : x5pro
Android Version : 5.1

Xposed framework is installed, but not active

Device: Meize MX4
Build: Flyme 5.1.5.0G
OS: Lolipop MR1 (5.1)
Architecture: armv7l

I installed XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=3034811

And download xposed-v86-sdk22-arm.zip from here:
http://dl-xda.xposed.info/framework/sdk22/arm/

I don't have an custom recovery, So I installed the SDK manually by this steps:
1. Decompressed xposed-v86-sdk22-arm.zip
2. Copy all files in "bin" to "/system/bin" with "rwxr-xr-x" permissions
3. Copy the file in "framework" to "/system/framework" with "rw-rw----" permissions
4. Copy all files in "lib" to "/system/lib" with "rw-rw----" permissions
5. Copy the file "xposed.prop" to "/system" with default permissions
6. Rebooting the system

At the main menu of Xposed I see this message under "Framework" title:
"The lastest version of Xposed is currently not active, Did you install the framework and reboot?"

And when I press on "Framework" I see this message:
"Xposed framework version 86 is installed, but not active, Please check the logs for details."

When I switch to "Logs" I see that:
"Could not read log: /data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/log/error.log: open failed: ENOENT (No such file or directory)"

Can someone help me please?
Thanks!
