Soft Brick - FAILED TO MOUNT SYSTEM - Help
Good night guys, so there's my problem:
I was on DN 0.6.1 custom ROM, TWRP 3.0.2.0 and rooted. Today, i wanted to go back to stock ROM, so, I downloaded the stock firmware throught sammobile, and tried to install it throught ODIN 3.11, but it's stopped at system.img, and remained stuck in it for a long time. so i decided to restart the phone..
Then it's showed the follow message:
firmware upgrade encountered an issue note 4. Please select recovery mode on kies and try again.
So, i tried to re-flash throught ODIN, but stucked at system.img again, after it, I downloaded KIES and tried restore it, but it's stopped at 2%.
I wasn't abble to go to recovery mode, only download mode, so, i extracted the ROM file, and flashed only the boot.img through ODIN. Now it's boot to recovery...
I wiped data/cache, but the following error showed up:
E: Failed to mount system (invalid argument).
and now i can't find a solution for it.. tried to do amost anything that i could find on the internet, but none solved my problem...
I'm wanting to flash PIT + CSC + PDA file, using the repartition option on ODIN, but i'm afraid that may brick my phone for ever...
I'm following this tutorial by now: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note...-t-w8-t3282641
And i need this CSC file, because my phone is the C version, could someone give me link to download it ? couldn't find in any place.
ANd there's someone who could help me ? i'm very concerned about it because i don't have money to buy another phone at the moment...
Thanks, and yes, already looked at XDA for a answer but couldn't fine any.
THANK YOU

samsung galaxy grand prime soft brick problem
Hello, I have a soft bricked samsung galaxy grand prime sm-g530t1. I have tried flashing the recovery tar file but failed, I have also tried flashing the stock firmware which led to another failing because of "Volume size is too big 4362240 < 4546560 ODIN : Invalid ext4 image", and apparently I now have an error that occurred from updating the device software but when I tried using kies 3, smart switch, and kies 2.6 It says that my device isn't responding or it's unsupported. So I genuinely need help.
[Q] Strange (hard?) brick
Hi,
After many years of enjoying this magnificent phone the disaster came.
The phone discharged overnight and switched off. In the morning I had to send some texts, so plugged the wall charger into USB socked (a weak one ~500mA), after few moments a charging icon appeared and stated that battery has 1%. Ok, I really had to send those messages: I've pressed the power button and phone started to boot.
Sony logo: OK, purple wave, OK...
After 10-20 seconds it suddenly switched of, red LED started to blink.
I thought: OK, system startup needs a lot of power, maybe a charger is too week to keep up.
So I left phone for few more minutes to charge, but without success.
That was the last time I saw screen was on.
Phone is a C6903, running on a stock, rooted 14.6.A.1.236 with the recent XZRecovery.
Bootloader has been unlocked.
For the moment I've tried everything but opening back and doing the testport-trick.
When I connect the power only red led blinks (I left the phone charging overnight, no change).
When I try to enter flash mode: nothing happens but red blinking light.
When I try to start phone nothing happens at all.
But there is still hope:
I connected the phone to 2A charger using a magnetic cable.
Then I've connected normal USB cable to my PC, strange thing started to happen:
When I pressed volume Up (even after few minutes of connecting power+usb) the phone suddenly jumped to fastboot mode (blue led, it was discovered by PC, fastboot terminal was functional)
When I press power button, phone vibrates for a second, then the led pattern changes to: 1s red followed by 0.1s green, then long red, then it repeats...
I'm still unable to enter any recovery nor flashmode...
I'd really appreciate any help, have you got any ideas left how can I revive my phone?

Soft Brick? Help
Been trying to unlock the bootloader and root the phone for the past 3 hours. Finally realized my mistakes. Was going to factory wipe the phone and finally get it right, when I accidentally swiped right at the "Do you want to Install the SuperSU" or something among those lines, but the SuperSu zip wasn't showing up because I didn't have a password for the mount. Now I'm stuck in a bootloop. I can get into recovery. I tried advance wipe, format data, swipe to factory reset. All of those to go to the phone sitting at the boot animation for 10-20 mins before I try it again. What can I do? Barley bought it yesterday. The nexus 5 was so much simpler. Thanks for any help. BTW on twrp 2.8.7.2

Soft brick bootloop help! I tried everything I could think of.
Backstory I'm running PureNexus rom with Experimental kernel. Yesterday out of nowhere the phone started bootlooping, usually this is fine and i'll just restart the phone. Well after trying this the bootloop stayed for 15mins. I cleared cache and dalvik and still the same results. I ended up trying to restore a previous nandroid and nothing changed. Frustrated I backuped my titanium backups to my PC and cleared everything, factory reset and data format from twrp. I tried flashing the PureNexus rom clean and still bootloops. It just hangs on the white Google screen with the black background.
I'm following Heisenberg's tutorial (section 10) and after using fastboot and following the directions, i'm getting stuck on flashing the system. I'll get, "load_file: could not allocate 2014388768 bytes
error: cannot load 'C:\angler\images\system.img'
I read restarting the computer might help and i tried that and nothing has changed. It seems this is not rom related, since I downloaded a couple different ones and pushed it to my phone/flashed and it still bootloops. Any suggestions or help? Thanks!

"soft brick" on honor 7 after failed install of xposed
Hello everybody, I have a huge problem !
I have a rooted honor 7 and I tried to install xposed framework by flashing the zip, but guess what, It didn't work :( so it got stuck on TWRP, I flashed the uninstaller but, even after reboot, I'm still stuck on TWRP...
If someone could explain me with clear words what can I do to clean all that mess, I would be so happy :) ^^
Have a good day !

Help! ZenFone 2 ZE551ML after update brick can't enter in fastboot mode
Hi, I have a ZE551ML rooted and after the update my cell remain stuck at the logo 'ASUS'.. i tried to enter in fastboot mode pressing power and vol+ but doesnt work..
Nexus 5 Hard Brick situation
My Nexus 5 was drained off battery and was not taking charging suddenly. I entered the hard reset mode( power+volume down button) and accidently did a "restart bootloader". Since then my phone has been hard bricked! I cannot enter into recovery mode as well( power + volume down button). But I am sure that if I can get the bootloader running somehow, my phone will be back. I am sure it does not have any grave hardware issues as such. But the maintenance (service) center says , they will need to replace the motherboard, which is too costly for me.
Can anyone give me any pointers of how can I get my phone working again?

hard brick wrong bootloader
Seems that a zip files I used to flash had the wrong img file for the bootloader within when flashed. I believe for the nexus 5 instead of 5x. Now no response at all from phone. Is their anything that can be done at this point? any batch files or utilities come about for this as of yet? Thanks!

Soft brick - cannot flash via recovery or Odin
Basically woke up with my phone as a brick... phone crashed when my alarm was supposed to go off (luckily I was already awake) and now hangs on the boot splash screen.
Device is an i747m, previously running S3Rx 3.0 (Android 4.3) with MK5 bootloader and modem. CWM 6.0.4.7 installed.
I am able to boot into both recovery and download mode.
However, in recovery mode, I get the errors:
Furthermore, if I try to factory reset, I get the error:
While in recovery, I am not able to flash a new recovery or ROM. There are no errors when flashing, however, after rebooting nothing has changed. I'm assuming that's because the system cannot access the storage.
Through Odin, I can flash TWRP with no errors. However, once I try to boot into recovery, I am still on CWM 6.0.4.7.
Through Odin, I am unable to flash ROMs (trying to flash 4.3 MK5 stock rom). I am using Odin 3.07 on a W7 x64 computer with Samsung drivers installed and an official Samsung USB cable.
I receive the error:
It appears that there is a problem with the internal memory since I can't read/write, but I am unsure if it is fixable.
I have come across this thread, but I am skeptical if it will work since it is for the Verizon S3.
I also came across this thread in my research, but I can't get cygwin to download >.> It seems promising, but I am unable to try it at the moment.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if any additional information is required.

[HOW-TO] Recover from hard brick QHSUSB_BULK
Save your dead/bricked device! Overall a straightforward process. Simple recovery using SD card to load correct bootloader and be able to ODIN stock firmware.
Successfully performed on a locked bootloader Note 4 from Verizon, using another locked bootloader Note 4 from Verizon. Should be equally possible with other devices as well as the T Flash function does not check the device model, and writes the entire firmware, according to the included or specified PIT file into the SD card.
Requirements:
Secondary Samsung device with working download mode and microSD slot
Odin version appropriate to the firmware version you are trying to install
16+ GB microSD card
Samsung drivers installed on your PC
Steps:
1) Find and download the correct FULL firmware for your device, of the same or newer version than was on the device previously. These are frequently available from AFH, amongst other sites. A "repair firmware" may be sufficient ONLY IF IT INCLUDES ABOOT and BOOT partitions.
2) Download the correct version of Odin for your firmware
3) Open Odin, set up your full firmware into the AP/PDA slot.
4) Tick the T Flash option in the settings.
5) Insert a 16+ GB card into the SD slot on your working Samsung device
6) Boot into download mode, and connect to computer. Ensure the device shows up in Odin. If not, check drivers and restart (and reconfigure) Odin.
7) Start flash. It may fail at a certain point but this is OKAY. As long as the ABOOT and BOOT partitions have flashed, the procedure will work.
8) Remove SD from the working device and insert it into the bricked device.
9) Hold VOLUME DOWN + HOME + POWER, or use a USB jig to enter into download mode on the dead device. It will now magically work, as it reads the partitions from the SD card.
10) Reflash the correct firmware in Odin to the bricked device.
Hope I was able to help. Do note that this will NOT solve issues with your device if it has PHYSICAL eMMC issues (cracked solder balls, bad chip, bad connections, etc, etc).
The "magic" SD card will only work on the device it was intended for. Don't attempt "miracles" by say, trying to boot firmware intended for a different model on your device. That may cause permanent damage, for which I will not be held responsible.
This tutorial should be equally acceptable for other devices. I am posting it here because it worked successfully on my Note 4, and I'm assuming other people here may have the same issue. Originally I tried this on an S5 with heavy motherboard damage, which would only render a download mode screen, but would not flash anything to the device.
Anyone with an interest in making a donation, please contact me for donation info or donate to your charity of choice :)
Most information presented here is publicly available but there was no simple/accurate way detailing the process, so I assumed it would be nice to have all info aggregated in one place.

Is it possible to fix soft brick with adb?
Hello,
I have a new S7 Edge and disabled Touchwiz Launcher System Apps with EZ Package disabler.
Today I tried for the first time ultra power saving mode, which did not work at all (I think there was no launcher available)
After a reboot, I am stuck at the flashing Samsung logo.
My question: Is it possible to reenable the Touchwiz Launcher with adb so that my phone can boot successfully again?
Which mode could be helpful? Download Mode, Safe Mode, Recovery?
I don't want to factory reset just yet because of pictures which are not backed up on the internal storage...
Please help :)

Soft brick help!
Hi all
I've had a soft bricked device now for 4 days I've read almost every post on the net to resolve this issue. So my Samsung S6 SM-G920F is stuck on the blue screen saying "An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the smart switch PC software." I can get into download mode 'recovery' however my phone will not connect to my computer via usb. With an error message stating "usb device not recognised. The last usb device you connected to this computer malfunctioned and Windows does not recognise it.
I have tried:
Changing cables
Changing computer
Deleting drives - rebooting comp to reinstall
Removing kies
Removing smart switch
Reinstalling smart switch
Reinstalling sub drivers
Editing power options and disabling USB ports
Entered HP BIOS and ran a port check which did however result in failure but then same situation on another HP laptop with working ports.
The device is charging when plugged in but not available to flash and reboot/bootloop.
If anyone has a resolution I will be eternally grateful.
Thanks in advance

[Need Help] Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 Soft brick
Dear Readers,
I recently bought my Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 and its an excellent phone, although, I rooted it quite soon after purchase.
Used CF-Autoroot and everything worked just fine,
Now today I wanted to get Xposed up and running on my phone, and I wanted to back up everything first.
I installed Flashify and downloaded a TWRP img, I flashed it and rebooted my phone.
Heres some info now:
Normal boot: Kernel is not seandroid enforcing
What comes next: Bootloaded exception
[RST_STAT = 0x10000]
ASV TBL VER = 32768
LOT_ID = N469X
-Some useless CPU heat info etc-
Exception: do_handler_sync: UNKNOWN
pc : 0x40205000 l r : 0x43e07c68 sp:"0x43f07f40
Now after that I shut down with vol down+main menu+power button
And I boot again with vol up+main menu+power button
First comes up:
Installing system update...
Then:
On the bottom of the screen: dm-verity verification failed. . .
And ofcourse in the middle the basic options
On the top
Android System Recovery <e3>
PLEASE help me out cause I really dont know what to do now..
Greetings from The Netherlands
Edit: I get different text on the first normal boot every time it seems, some weird letters and numbers etc.
Example: B f $ AFA G $ AFB p G @F H1 G pl

G900F Boots straight into Odin Mode. Soft Brick help needed pls
Hi, I'm stuck. I've soft bricked my G900F. Can someone help me restore it please?
When I turn the phone on, without selecting Download mode, it goes straight to it, and displays the following message
"Firmware upgrage encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again"
When I connect it to my computer with Odin open in administrator mode, it is recognised by Odin.
I have visited samknows and samsung-updates, but I don't know which one I'm supposed to download.
I'm in the UK and ideally want stock unbranded firmware, or something to get it working again.
So far, each firmware I have downloaded and then used Odin to flash the S5 has failed.
Please can someone help? Thanks in advance :)
