Unable to get root process to work right

I am currently following below process for flashing and rooting my device.

1) open sp flash tool. select Scatter file from target.bin in stock rom.

2) connect phone without battery and select firmware upgrade to go back to stock.

3) once starting download, put battery in the phone.

4) use marshmallow update zip in cwm recovery on phone. rename it to update.zip and install from recovery.

5) factory reset the phone after update.

6) install k3 note manager to root the device. simply click root.

7) do another factory reset.

After this, technically, I should be on stock rom with Marshmallow update, and rooted device. But, after I finish this, I am facing below problems:
1) I am unable to apply that wifi patch to fix battery issue. It reboots to TWRP recovery, and in recovery, there is no option for update or any zip file to flash.
2) NVRAM data is lost. I can write that data, but no idea why it is getting lost in first place.
3) Even after root, most apps are unable to use root access.

Can you guys help me get the device to official rom with root? What step am I missing here?

Samsung Galaxy s duos saying process system is not responding

I have samsung galaxy s dous and I flashed wrong file through ROM manager after this my devise is saying “process system is not responding would you like to close it" and after 10 second my devise auto reboot plz tell me how to fix it

Does Samsung account save alarms or wipe process failed?

I wiped my phone last night to config all the apps again because of some problems... all the apps installed again but i noticed that the clock app still has all my alarms from before the wipe procces...

So, is google syncing alarms on google account or the wipe process somehow failed? thanks

How to record whole process of flashing and stuff

I seen many videos where someone is able to record their screen from recovery all the way to the starting of a new rom etc. How can I do that. I am guessing I need my USB cable that is for sure. But what software would I need to carry out this whole process recording?

Greetings all, first post here, so to get down to business, i have tried to root my z2, however the bootloader is not unlocked. Anyway, i have found a guide here to do it even with unlocked bootload, which required : downloading rooted mm and bootloop fix then saving them on my phone, afterwards i was suposed to download stock lolipop and flash it on my phone. After that when i turned on my phone it started omptimising applications and then when the phone booted up i started getting these messages in the title, and i couldnt even enter the settings or anything since it crashes on its own after several messages. If you could help me out that would be awesome, thx in advance

Hallo everyone,
So I wanted to install cyanogenmod on my Galaxy S III i9300, but unfortunately I got stuck and dont know what to do further.
-I installed twrp-3.0.2-1 using Odin3 v3.09
-Downloaded cm-13 nightly and GAPPS
-Wiped everything
-Tried to install cyanogenmod

Reconstructing the log:

Checking for MD5 file ...
Skipping MD5 check: no MD5 file found
symlink: some symlinks failed
Updater process ended with ERROR: 7
Error installing zip file "(directory and name of the zip)

So at this point I tried several TWRP versions and several cyanogenmod version ending up with the same result and getting pretty desperate.

Can anyone help me here?

Edit: I of course tried to find a solution without posting first. I saw something about the SD memory formatted as internal memory, but couldnt make a sense of it or how to change it. Also I just bought a micro SD today to do this.
Also I always have to run Odin with the TWRP versions after i got the error since my phone wont return to the menu only to the downloading status with the green android guy

I factory reset it and it stay pops up constantly!
Does anyone have a solution to this problem?!? Im willing to try anything. Ive tried all the ones on youtube with the "solution" but it does not work.

Getting this error with attempting to flash "updater process ended with signal 4

So I recently rooted my samsung galaxy tab 3 T210, everything worked fine with that and It has a TWRP recovery 3.0.0. I have tried flashing about 3 different roms like the CM13 Unofficial , and the Resurrection Remix, any time I try to flash them the process ends pretty quicly with the error "updater process ended with signal 4". Not sure what I am doing wrong. Would appreciate any help I can get.

Process and procedures to upload Windows 10 (developer version) Verizon HTC M8

I am not the gienus that most of you guys are on this thread. But I am tired of waiting for Verizon to get Windows Mobile 10 on my device. Someone said there was a build that works on Verizon HTC M8; can I get one links for how to do this and where to get the build it's self. Not sure I am saying this in the right Tech lanaguage as I am not a techie; but if anyone is willing to direct me that would be great. Happy 4th to all.....:confused:

What is Battery process 39999 ?

I was wondering if someone else can look at there 5X and see if you have this same process in your battery stats.

I factory reset my 5X today and about 6 hours later i look in the battery stats section and see a black android guy with a process at 1% named 39999

I've never seen this before does yours show this same thing after you reset your phone and installed all the updated apps ?

"Settings" process crashes after I select an mp3 as ringtone

Hi guys, lately when I try to choose an mp3 as ringtone, after I select the file the "settings" process is going to crash. How can I fix it?

What is Process 99017 ?

When I look into battery stats there is Process 99017. Anybody knows what that is? For me it's fine but my friend has much higher usage
