No signal after installing 4G LTE switch app

Hi everyone,
Yesterday i tried to download and install this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...switcher&hl=it 4G LTE Switch because i wanted to lock my network in 4G.
It worked, then, when i set back GSM Only, my signl stopped. No service. I tried a factory reset, then i re-flashed my firmware with Odin (could it be something with the modem?)
No service bars at all, between the WIFI, and the battery percentage is a 'prohibited sign'? a circle with a line straight through it, top left to bottom right ��
Please someone help me, i don't wanna send AGAIN my Phone to Sammy...........

PS. phone is Galaxy S6Edge Official, running last firmware available.

How to move signal status icon ?

Need help after downgrade, no network signal. (IMEI?)

Hello guys . I have a HTC One S (ville c2) . and I had a viper ROM , but dont remember the version. so i wanted to upgrade to 4.4 and I use one carbon rom I found here. so far no problems, just bugs in the rom .
but the phone was randomly reseting , the bluetoot was not working and I didn't like it. so I wanted to go back to my old ROM and I downloaded the new Viper ROM 5.2.1 for the ville c2 . work really great. BUT now I dont have network signal on my phone, my cousin told me that it is problems with the IMEI , (i didn't know it cause troubles when you downgrade) so I coming here for help and I already reserch a little so I will let you some info of my phone .

Hope you guys can help me to solve this problem .

What is up with the signal strength on this phone?

Compared to my previous phone (iPhone 6 Plus), the signal strength is just horrible. I downloaded settings and everything. Does this phone have just a week antenna or something? I have AT&T.

My iPhone got wayyy better signal strength.

LG G4 signal issues after update

hello xda,

i bought (from ebay) an LG g4 h815t from hong kong. it come with android 5 pre-installed and everything works fine.
i decidet to update the phone to mm (via lg bridge) and now the signal is very very poor (alomost without coverage for all day)

Change signal strength color dual sim

i spend hours and hours to find a solution for my problem but i´ve found nothing about this.

I want to change the color of the signal in the status bar for my two sim-cards (lollipop 5.0).

There are no PNGs in the systemUI so i thought it musst be changed in the xml-files.

I´ve found some xml named stat_sys_signal_*_fully_sim1_leui.xml / stat_sys_signal_*_fully_sim2_leui.xml. * count 0 till 4

In this xml it´s possible to set the color via #******** and i set it to hex-blue and red. But it does not works.

For example the original code of "stat_sys_signal_1_fully_sim1_leui.xml"

I´ve set all #ffffffff to #ff00afff but the colour aufter flashing is still white. :(

The systemUI is correct de- and recompiled!

Anybody a solution???

I have the latest emui of huawei, still the bug is there a little. Compared when not updated. Do anybody experience this too?

Nexus 6P Signal comes on and off.

I was on cm13 and my signal suddenly disappeared. I flashed stock but it did not get fixed. Imei Number is visible.

Mobile network signal

I'm not sure it's a problem, but is anyone also facing a similar situation. I'm on Orion OS(also happens on krexus-caf) if I go to battery settings and click on the graph, my Mobile Network signal is almost fully orange. However my signal bars in status bar are almost always full, and an app(Mobile Signal) shows a good dBm, around -70. So I checked by typing *#*#4636#*#* in phone dialer then -> phone info and it shows around -70dBm but after a few seconds it drops to -113dBm(which is lowest possible), then back up to -70 then down to -113 again. Is anyone facing a similar issue?

Network Signal Drop after installing Facebook hello Caller id

Hi, i don't know if it is the right thread but i'm facing an annoying issue on my LG D855 (Fulmics 5.3 custom ROM), after i install Facebook Hello Dialer App (Caller ID & Block) i have a constant network signal drops, like every 2 secondes, and every time i try to place a call with or without the app.

The app itself works fine to identify and fetch peoples data (over wifi of course). I can't figure out the problem, i tried switching between network modes (2g/3g/4g/auto), disabled/enabled sync optimisation, but nothing resolved.

The app was sideloaded since it is unvailable here in Algeria, maybe be because of network bands in my country (slightly different from US ones, despite i don't see relevance here), but i installed it on a bunch of other smartphones and all went ok (1st gen Samsung Galaxy A3, LG L Bello, and even a chiness clone of the Hisense u970) (all on stock roms).

If someone can help me it would be nice.

How can I connect wifi hotspot to wds router to increase signal strength

I want to know how I can connect my wifi hotspot from mobile to wds router to increase signal strength so I can get signal in my whole house. I only rely on mobile hotspot for Internet??

Loss of phone signal - Phone fails to search for signal again

ive switched to CM13 and loving this phone... one gripe though..

on stock MIUI and CM, if i lose signal (usually 4g, running 1 sim) i will often stay with "no signal" for hours, unless i go into airplane mode and toggle on and off to force the phone to search for signal.

I've looked through all the settings and haven't found anything that could be causing it. I have it set to search for 4g first, then 3g, 2g.

I have the sim in tray 1 as well, but i highly doubt that could be causing issues.

I'm on Optus (Australia) and realize all bands arent supported out of the box, but the phone has 4g/3g signal where i am, it's just not looking for it.

Any ideas ?

Get signal without imei? SM-G900H

Some time ago I had a problem with my phone. The EFS folder was deleted and could not be restored.

I tried to repair it with 123unlock.nl but was not possible.

As a last option, I want to know if it is possible to receive the signal from my SIM without imei. I read that some devices have done installing custom kernels and modems

Poor Signal With New Motherboard & ROM

My old D850's SIM card reader died, so I just switched to a new one. In the process, I thought I'd try out a new ROM and switched to Fulmics 5.3 MM

Now my signal is shot. I'm getting two bars on average, around -107 dBM on LTE and about the same HSPA. I'm in NYC, in my bedroom that used to have plenty of reception, by an open window, high up in an apartment building

As I need to use this new motherboard, I tried switching all of the other parts in from my old phone –*the screen, backcase, midframe, signal cable, etc. etc. Still the same results

I'm about to try flashing stock Lolipop, or maybe the nandroid backup of my old phone onto this new one

Any thoughts as to what else I might try to fix this?

Poor signal since new firmware

For some time now (After flashing OOS3 with new firmware) I have bad signal on my Oneplus2 and I guess that's the reason my battery is draining fast.

But it made no difference.

I made two screenshots recently. One from OxygenOS 3.0.2 (rooted) and one from HalogenOS 0.3-beta (rooted)

As you can see. Both the signals show an orange bar.

I'm from the Netherlands (Europe) and tried to change preferred network type, apn etc but that didn't work out.
Then I entered phone info (*#*#4636#*#*) and I saw I only have USA bands in my radio band chooser. See image below:

That's not normal is it? I have 4g/lte connection. but it's very unstable. My model number is A2003.

samsung s4 red x by signal

hi all, I have a sprint samsung s4, I was messing around and reading stuff online about trying to get it unlocked for other carriers. i think i have come to the conclusion that it cannot be unlocked domestically via sprint but via other means. i changed some settings and now the signal bar shows an X, i am trying to figure out how to restore it to default settings because I may go the ringplus route with this phone now instead.
i think it may be related to settings in the service menu - *#0011#

if anyone knows the default network settings in there, it may help me to restore it.

any help and suggestions is appreciated

One m7 signal problem

Hi! It would be great if someone could help me. First of all ,I took this phone in exchange ,and it was already rooted,s-on,tempered unlocked. But ,I have problem with signal-doesn't work 3g and lte ,only 2g with full signal strenght. I installed custom rom Insert coin,because i have no 25usd to pay for sunshine to s-off phone to get it back to stock.. also,i have googled for this problem,and found that it possibly has something to do with radio signal,but didn't found any solution. Htc is all new expirience for me,because i haven't had opportunity to work with it before.I would really appreciate if someone could help me or adress me to solution topic. HELP!!! I cannot search the wifi signal

After I updated to the newest nightly cm 13 22/7, I cannot search any wifi signal. Anyone has the same problem? And later on, I flashed the snapshot rom, my nexus 6p was bricked. It keeps showing the cm logo without any further action. What can I do?

Time without a signal?

I've flashed a number of ROMs on my XT1575 (thank you devs for much hard work). A week ago I noticed that the second greatest consumer of battery on my phone was Cellular Standby and my "Time Without A Signal" was running 35-65% even though I'm in the middle of Manhattan with strong LTE service. I've flashed three different ROMs, always wiping and doing clean installs, and I have the same problem with all three. Could this be a modem problem? Should I flash a stock modem or a custom modem? I've tried different settings and got the same result. What am I missing?

Signal problems after MM update on Unlocked AT&T

Hi there, I would like to know if other people are having signal problems after the MM update. I am on Tmobile on a AT&T Unlocked Priv that WAS working perfect (signal strength wise) when it was on Lollipop. Since I upgraded by OTA to MM using a friends Simcard my signal is a mess. It cycle between LTE , 4G, 3G, EDGE all the way to GSM (G). And when I hit the road it stay in EDGE most of the time. That didn't happen in Lollipop and have never happened in my Nexus 6 and Nexus 6P. So is no TMO signal, is something that AT&T or Blackberry change on the modem firmware.

I tried to flash the old modem (lollipop) but it won't boot and told me the data was encrypted and corrupted and needed to wipe my phone. I flashed back the MM modem and booted. I flashed the TMo modem and I don't think it is sticked or maybe is it just the same one. Can you reply with your baseband numbers. Mine is MPSS.BO.2.6.2.c2-0007-M8994FAAAANAZM-1.55185.2

Any help will be very appreciated.
