How to upgrade to remix os 3.0 without losing all my stuff? I know i can make a usb drive and boot from there and install it. I just want to make sure that i will not lose anything and have to reinstall all my apps.

I just got this superb-looking device,and I was wondering about something.

I see that the ability to root and install TWRP is present on the phone,but what about the source code and custom roms?
I am interested in the source code in order to try(a big emphasis on TRY) to get CM13 on this phone,but I do not know where to start. .-__-.

Can anyone point me the right way? I am a bit tired of having to test the living crap out of my phone and hard-brick it several times before actually getting somewhere(I just got it,don't want to blindly throw myself into anything because I am prone to killing my phones when I do so).
I am also asking this because I am used to seeing 2 same-looking things on new forums,not knowing which one is better.

So can anyone kind and patient enough help me out a bit? :o

Verizon Galaxy S5 video calling and some other network stuff on T-Mobile network

I have a Verizon G900V S5 that I am currently using with a T-Mobile sim card on the T-Mobile network, I can get voice calls text/data etc, but I cant find a way to activate the video calling because its linked to Verizon its currently on android 5.0 and I cant manually update it from the phone either because it says im not on the network, is there any tweaks or roms to fix these? Also whats the best network mode I should be on to get the fastest data right now im just leaving it on "Global" and using T-Mobiles APN and it seems alright

my SM-T810 won't install stuff from the Google store

As soon as I got my 810, I let it update to Marshmallow (factory image)

Now I am trying to load on a number of my usual apps, and they refuse to install. I have no idea why. One is VLC- so I can watch videos. Another is all of Microsoft's Office stuff (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.) Does anyone have an idea about why that might be? Or a method of debugging the store?

How to record whole process of flashing and stuff

I seen many videos where someone is able to record their screen from recovery all the way to the starting of a new rom etc. How can I do that. I am guessing I need my USB cable that is for sure. But what software would I need to carry out this whole process recording?

One M7 Bootloop without flashing stuff before

Hi,

my Phone restarted spontaneously today and is now stuck in a bootloop. I tried to turn it off by holding the power button but that didn't work. Even when I enter the bootloader, the phone continues rebooting all the time. I only see the white htc screen for a second and then the device reboots again and again, until the battery is empty.

I didn't flash anything new before this happened. The device worked pretty well with CM 12.1 for a long time.

Is there a change to repair this? Is it a hardware issue?

Add stuff to letters using ocr and camera

I want to develop an app that do this:
when it recognize a unique pattern of words it's will add stuff *around* the word ("scoring the word")
lets say the word is "שלום" (Hello in Hebrew) i want the glass to add around it "שָׁלוֹם" (it's signs that help children read this word correctly) .
is this possible?
if so can you give me some example code that do something like this so i will have a starting point?
