Nandroid backup restored apps but not my other files

Hello guys.
So I created a Nandroid backup and went on to flash a new ROM, but didn't like it so I restored from the Nandroid backup.
All my apps with their settings have been restored, but none of my files have been restored. My Downloads folder, my Screenshots folder, a folder where I stored some nice wallpapers, and so on. None of these folders have been restored. I tried to restore it again, but it gave me the same results. Am I missing something?

I would like to flash my G928G ZTO "entirely".... I mean, everything, including firmware, CSC, pit and modem... where would I find the original files? Tried getting the firmware out of sammobile but it is not working for me (although I am premium there is no download link and their support sucks). Are there any other sources for these files?

Can't flash custom pit files

I can't flash any fit file except official one for my device.
Any other pit file(my custom pit file or one of other device) will cause a "Secure Check Failed (PIT)" error.
Is that mean my device can only use official pit file? I can't change it?

Changing ROMs - Backing Up Google Music Files?

If I am switching ROMs, is there any way to backup and then restore my Google Play Music files?

I have nearly 40GB of playlists etc and would really prefer not to have to redownload them each time. Is there a way to backup a specific folder and then restore it after flashing the new ROM?

I understand they are DRM protected. I don't want to add them to my computer or anything, I just want to avoid the headahce of trying to DL 40gb of data on a very slow connection.

No one of these threads are talking about how to port a ROM from IMG files, there's only ROMs with "system", "cache", "data", etc folders.

I'd like to port the preview of Android N to my UMi Touch (With Android MM 6.0) but I don't know what to do with those files.

Import gyroscope and sensors files

Hello,

I have a jiayu g2f WCDMA 4g, this phone have gyroscope but for unknown reasons the mark does not have built any rom to use correctely this function!
My doubt is whether it is possible from another rom from another mark with the same specs export necessary files to make the gyroscope start to work?
Such as gravity, linear acceleration and rotation vector which are present but are not used by the brand roms.

The Gyro name is MPU3000 gyroscope sensor and manufacturer Invensensor

Galaxy s6 all files gone

I tried downloading xposed on my phone, but it got stuck on the tmobile loading screen, so I panicked and I wiped everything from my phone. There is nothing on it only 2 folders labeled 0 and twrp. I am able to go to download and recovery mode. I have tried flashing the stock ram using odin but i get a failure message. When i boot my phone its just a black screen with the blue led on. How do i fix this?

[REQUEST] Patch format for APK files

Currently we don't have any patch format like diff for APK files.Having one would make it easier to share APK file modifications to other developers so that we don't have to share the modded APK file ;)

Does anything like this exist now or will I have to develop it ?

Syncing Files with Android - Drive

Has anybody found a reliable way to sync files from their Android device to Drive? I've tried a couple apps but have had limited success.

Help with Damaged hard files on my Ls990.

so as you can see I tried to root my phone and failed and now I have damaged hard files preventing me from updating my firmware. I'm wondering if there's anyway to flash the phone to 6.0 and write over the damaged firmware. Please help.

Is there anyway someone post flash files for

- Removed sd card notification on every reboot
- Remove high volume warning for headphones (priority)
- Enable TouchKey light duration in settings
- you can now remove notification that where made by system (example: powersaving mode is on) (or any notification that can be cleared)
- when clicking reboot which would lead to reboot, hot reboot , recovery , download (priority)
- screenshot/record screen button options when holding the power button to power off the phone

I know a lot of what I just asked for can be found in certain roms but i would like to be on stock for now. I'm not sure how to get these files and do them automatically as I know only know how to flash would be a great help if anything!

Converting .zip package into .img files

Hi all
I'd like to convert an ota update package from .zip to boot/recovery/system images i googled it for sometime and cant seem to find any helpful info on how to do it.
First off im using GR5 KII-L21 and before i started this journey i was @ android 5.1.1 the updated manually -used this- to android 6.0.1 then flashed twrp onto my phone and then rooted it. while i was tweaking and modding i messed something up and as usual i didnt make a twrp backup before i started playing with my system. and twrp always fails to install the update package i used to get from 5.1.1 to 6.0.1 and im stuck :)
I got a twrp backup for the gr5 kii-l21 somewhere from here flashed it and im back to 5.0.1 now a new issue arises when i try to update via ota to 5.1.1 the update always fails with "software update failed" message and i cant find the local update option to use the 6.0.1 update. So i got myself one of them kiwi 6.0.1 update.app and extracted the boot/recovery/system images and flashed them via adb. Now im on 6.0.1 again but still cant see the local update option in the updater app. It works and everything but it feels wrong somehow. The updater app is trying to update the 5.0.1 to 5.1.1 even tho its on 6.0.1 now.
If its not possible to convert the .zip update to images .img I'd like to have the original 5.0.1 for the GR5 KII-L21 with boot and recovery images or as a twrp backup and i'll work my way from there, thanks.
