any LIVE colour changing, keyboard apps?

i was wondering, can anyone or did anyone ever made a keyboard apk where it changes colours in real time? if you know any links please tell me!! also what do think about this idea?

Guys need help. Two days ago I manage to make my S7 to use vibration mode when he recognize my house. Now I cant remember how I did it. I just remember that google maps was on and over it phone recognize my place and turn vibration mode ON. Can anyone help about this one?

Fire TV remote app and changing Wi-Fi

I'm on my way to the Outer Banks for a week at the beach. I have my fire stick but forgot my remote. I've checked stores to get a replacement remote or compatible bluetooth controller, but no luck. I have a possible solution, but not sure if it would work. Let me know what you think.

I setup the hotspot on my phone to mirror my home network. I already know I can fool my fire stick to think I'm online. Then I can use my wife's phone with the Fire TV remote app to pair with the Fire stick.

The problem comes with connecting with the Wi-Fi network when we'll be staying. It's password-protected. The remote app will only work as long as I'm connected to my phone's hotspot. Will the Fire stick stay connected long enough for me to enter the password, or will it disconnect the second I click the preferred network?

Does anyone else have any other suggestions? Is there any way to manually learn the network and password before connecting to it using adb? Anybody?

Having trouble changing the CID

I have an HTC One S (S4 version from t-mobile), and was hoping to upgrade from HBOOT 2.15 to 2.16. I have already unlocked my device via HTC-dev, installed a custom recovery and rom, and have root access

From the various tutorials I figure that I need to get SuperCID, S-OFF, and then I touch the write protected parts of the phone.

However, when I try to get SuperCID per this tutorial, The cid does not change from

Samsung galaxy s6 edge IMEI changing

Hell, this is Justin.I have stupid situation, bought this phone Samsung Galaxy s6 edge 6.0.1 android version, but I think it's stolen, because it got blocked imei number, so i changed with exposed software, but I think it doesn't help, because it's author, who created exposed framework, he wrote in his post somewhere, that it just change imei for some apps to take it, but it doesn't change original telephone imei, by which it could be tracked by police.So i removed sim card and now it's just like a media device, i can watch youtube, play games, browse internet and etc.But I want to use it fully, to call, to send sms, to use a network.So it was long text, but the main idea and question, is there a possible way to change imei, that no police could track phone?Please help, if you have some knoledge about it, than you! :)

Changing ROMs - Backing Up Google Music Files?

If I am switching ROMs, is there any way to backup and then restore my Google Play Music files?

I have nearly 40GB of playlists etc and would really prefer not to have to redownload them each time. Is there a way to backup a specific folder and then restore it after flashing the new ROM?

I understand they are DRM protected. I don't want to add them to my computer or anything, I just want to avoid the headahce of trying to DL 40gb of data on a very slow connection.

Details about phone: Samsung S6 (G920I) I can't remember the exact ROM im on (yes im a noob). However my build number is LMY47X, which when searched by most views comes up with this rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...pha-1-t3107740) Android version 5.1.1 I have TWRP v. 3.0.2-1 as my custom recovery.


So my phone keeps restarting randomly been getting worse over the past few weeks. So I want to try a new ROM (had my current one for like 8 months). So I made a ROM back up just in case through TWRP and backed up all my user data through Titanium and exported both of it onto my PC.

I found a ROM I want to use "XtreStoLite" ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...n-1-0-t3094423) but I have a few questions before I try to install it.

First of will this work fine for the current setup I have?

Since I'm on 5.1.1 and they have a ROM version for 6.0.1 will I be able to install this version or do I have to use the 5.1.1 version? I've tried updating to 6.0.1 on my current ROM but my provider won't let me update OTA. Only way is to remove root and return it back to the stock ROM which I don't really want to do if I can avoid it.

Please help, any information will be greatly appreciated, feel free to ask any questions.

Changing dpi

I'm a new one plus 3 user and I need help in changing my screen dpi xD
I know there are many apps here in XDA to change the dpi but I would like to do it myself .....so I want to know where and which values I have to change for that

Previously I owned a galaxy s4 and in that it was possible from build.prop but in one plus 3 I don't see anything related to changing dpi in build.prop

Can i do firmware update after changing original recovery to twrp ?

Hi, after buying my s7 edge i rooted my device and changed my original recovery to the TWRP recovery.
After a couple of days a firmware update ( 81.74mb) showed up but i cannot install it because i no longer have the original recovery.
Is there a way to install the update with the twrp recovery or can i find somewhere my original recovery or do i have to flash the full firmware inside odin ?

How to Install another Model's Firmware w/o Changing IMEI?

I have an American model S7 Edge, but would like to install the firmware of my region so that I can get access to our 4g network. The bands are capable, so this phone is for sure able to access this, it's just my model is region locked, and to one specific carrier.

I was told there is a chance that this will result in altering the IMEI, which is not what I want at all, I just want to alter the firmware.

Is this at all possible? I tried before, but it only resulted in errors on Odin.

Changing DPI does not work; please help

Hey Guys,

I have an S7 Edge and was always able to change the DPI via any common method.

For some weeks it´s somehow not possible. I tried while on various ROMs.

I tried via editing Build.prop, Android Terminal App, DPI Changing Apps and via Terminal on Mac and Windows.

It just doesnt work....


I noticed that being on BobCat ROM it works.... But with no other ROM. I tried them all on XDA.


Does anybody have an idea why and/or how to fix this?

I appreciate every reply.

Help with changing the boot animation

Hi,
I've recently been playing with the boot animations, and have successfully created my own bootanimation.zip which I placed inside /system/media. Before my boot animation plays however, I get a white screen similar to the one shown below (slightly different, and also an image, not an animation).



This isn't in my bootanimation.zip, and I have no idea how to delete/ change it. Anyone got any ideas?

Modem not changing after flashing

Hi,
I was using RR 5.7.1 (based on CM13) for a while and noticed since I flashed it I had bad reception.
Now I realized that my GPS works horribly too. I've tried almost EVERYTHING, ranging from FasterGPS to changing the gps.conf and flashing a completely different ROM (Kushan and Omega, both based on TW)
I think the only thing I haven't tried is flashing another baseband firmware.
Well, I actually did, but the phone just wouldn't change it.
Odin claims it's a PASS but the firmware doesn't change in "About Phone" and reception stays the same.

I have a gt-i9505, I live in Israel and well, I didn't find a modem for my device and for Israel so I tried Global ones.
As stated, these don't work.
My current Baseband stays I9505XXYHOA7
No matter what I do, I can't get a GPS fix.
I typed *#1234# into the dialer to check my version,
it says the following:
AP: I9505XXUHOL4 (which is the modem I tried to flash)
CP: I9505XXUHOA7 (which is the modem I want to replace)
Any help would be really appreciated,

Notification led color not changing for battery charging and global notification

In my oneplus 3 the notification led color is not changing for battery charging and global notification when i change it through settings. I bought it few days back from amazon india. The battery full led color when i tried is changing when i change in settings. Even the lastest 3.2.1 update didnt solved the problem. the charge color remain blue, and notification color remains whitish yellow. Any solution for this? is this hardware problem?

Changing bootlogo (not the animation) Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet

I'm trying to change to splash-screen / boot logo of my Sony Xperia Z4 tablet (SGP771)

I have already rooted my device.

With the help of the bootimg.exe tool I unpacked the boot.img - exchanged the logo.rle and repacked the boot.img.

My custom logo.rle I created with boot_screen_logo_creation_package.

However, when flashing the new-boot.img to my device (with fastboot flash boot new-boot.img) the logo is not changed. Still showing the Sony logo before the bootanimation appears.

My tablet runs the Marshmallow firmware and I'm using the corresponding AndroPlusKernel v31 (Z4T_SGP771_AndroPlusKernel_v31.zip).

I tried already different tools like bootimg_tools from this xda forum, or split_bootimg.pl from the android-wiki.

The one mentioned in my question I found in several forums (wordpress, miui, dark-cyanide-devs ...)

Most of the tools I tried already did not repack the image correctly (fastboot reported "remote: dtb not found")
The tool I used, mentioned in the question, seemed to work for correcly unpacking and repacking. But as I said - the logo does not change -.-

Any suggestions what I am doing wrong?
