Phone crashing and shutting down randomly when not On charge

. For the past few days my phone has been crashing and turning off randomly, when the phone is off the charger. The screen just goes black and Shuts down. When I try to reboot the phone it will get upto the boot animation and then freeze and shutdown again. I have to connect my phone to a charger and then reboot, only then does it fully boot up. My battery is 100% btw.

What I have done so far is:
1) flashed the latest build of exodus
2) cleared dalvik and cache
3) flashed an earlier build (25/07) without flashing XPOSED and SUPERSU. However problem still present.

Can someone help please and tell me what other steps I can take. My phones important to me at the moment as I'm away in Turkey for an internship. It's a really strange problem I can't figure out what to do. Thanks alot

Playstore keeps crashing

So I was tinkering around with the play store but little did I know I messed up .com.android.vending COMPLETELY and uninstalled it and the play store because it wouldn't stop crashing and stuff then when I reinstalled it all the google apps said there's no internet connection so then I went online to find a solution and I did and I deleted hosts from etc and then I went back to play store and it seemed to work (yay!) BUT then it crashed so much and it's not a system app and I think that's the problem but all the other google apps were working 100% although I need play store to update my apps and it wont even update it'll just crash before updating or downloading anything. (I have a Rooted Device by using KingRoot and Root Explorer)

Note 5 Settings App Crashing with and Without Xposed

My settings app was crashing and I restored my phone not knowing that the issue was xposed and went ahead and reinstalled MOAR PD2 rom and then installed xposed (settings app working before installing it) and the settings didn't work. I then uninstalled xposed and it is still not working. I really don't want to restore my phone again and go through the whole process again.

Youtube keeps crashing and locking up

I am on a standard unmodified shield 500GB. Its actually a replacement from Nvidia as my old one kept locking up and crashing. I have noticed since getting this one yesterday that youtube keeps freezing at the beginning of videos and force closes more often than works. Is anyone else having this problem?

S7 G935A Apps crashing and phone will not restart after root

Hey guys I have recently rooted my S7 Edge G935A following this guide (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNInTlCpv8E). After that I followed this guide (http://forum.xda-developers.com/veri...nroot-t3411039) to debloat my phone and install xposed. After all of this my phone would work perfectly fine for about 2 to 3 days and then my apps would start crashing and if I restarted my phone it would soft lock. Any help as to why this is happening would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

lg g3 keeps crashing & rebooting when using snapchat.

During the last 24 hours, my phone rebooted itself everytime I opened snapchat (something immediately,sometimes after 5-10 seconds). note: I didnt and still dont have this problem when the phone is charged.
I kept trying using snapchat till the phone started rebooting itself just by going into lockscreen (after couple of snapchat caused reboots) and once even rebooted twiced (without getting into lockscreen.
I took the battery out for a couple of hours and then rebooted the phone when charged. the phone didnt do any problems and I could use snapchat (same as before when the phone was charged.) but after a while when I unplugged it (no apps were open) it rebooted itself again.

now the phone is charged, and Im pretty stuck.

Any ideas guys?

Note 4 Keeps Crashing after OTA 6.0.1 (Rogers)

Hi guys I'm pretty new to the forums.

I've recently updated my note 4 to 6.0.1 via OTA not a rooted phone.

Now sometimes my phone battery will just drop down from like 40 percent to 0 but that's a known battery issue.

What the problem is sometimes the phone would just shut off by itself and when I turn it back on I have to wait a few minutes and it'll read phone cannot boot and all these msg's pop up. RIght now it's working so I can't really remember what it says but I would like to reflash or put a different rom on?

How do I go abouts doing this?

Email Crashing

HI all,

Need some help. For whatever reason my stock email app started crashing today (was fine yesterday). Get the error "Unfortunately, Email has stopped" when trying to reply, forward, reply all, etc. I receive emails and can read them but can't reply or create a new email. Not aware of any updates that would have happened overnight. Running the latest updated software. Any ideas?

LG Flex H950 display crashing

Purchased my LG Flex 2 H950 2 months ago to upgrade from the Flex 1 and have run into various overheating issues and my display seems to crash with just one line on the screen then decides to come back on its own after 3-5 minutes, when the display does crash the phone still seems to work perfectly though, will receive calls play music, sometimes even 1/4 of the screen comes back first before the whole screen comes back, was wondering if else has run into this issue and if it might be software related? I am suspecting bad video card however recently using this forum I found the Ghost Pepper governor and the EX Kernel Manager program which I have used to underclock the phone during hot periods and so far..no crashes yet, called LG though and didn't get much help there as I don't have the receipt for the phone

Issues - Apps, recents crashing and more

I'm loving the quality and the performance of the oneplus 3 but there are a few issues that are irritating me!

1) Apps crash before starting - Intermittently, applications just show a black or white screen when executed. I have to press the power button to get the phone usable again. Example - Google drive, maps, pocket casts , tapet
2) Recents button crash - Pressing the recents button crashes the system ui. This has been happening more since 3.2.0
3) Wifi does not turn off - WIfi remains on after being turned off from quick settings or the main settings page.
4) Android system drain - Android system, almost always, has more battery usage than the screen!
5) I'm not sure if this is an issue - I recently installed AppOpsXposed module and looks like the Google Play Services and Android System have location access running even when location & wifi scanning are turned off. Shouldn't the location permission be used only when location access is turned on? I believe this is contributing to the android system drain!

I'm currently on FreedomOS 3.2.1 but have faced these issues from Stock 3.1.2 onwards. Not sure about 3.1.1 since I received the OTA on first boot. I have tried going back to stock(no root/no xposed) but that doesn't help either.

Thoughts?

Most apps crashing

I naiively purchased a 6p off ebay on the cheap that was having issues with apps crashing, thinking I could fix it, but lesson learned, I'm not as smart as I think.

Chrome crashes immediately upon opening - most apps that load web content are extremely unstable/eventually start crashing upon opening (reddit apps, instagram, facebook, email apps). Most forums are pointing to Android Web Services as the culprit, but uninstalling updates/clearing data/etc. hasn't helped.

I've tried multiple factory resets, I tried the N beta (which was much, much more stable than stock MM), and I'm currently on Pure Nexus and still having the same issues. I notice that the build number is listed wrong in settings.... MTC19Z, which is the build # of a Nexus 5...

At this point, I'm open to anything. Thanks for any help you can give.

Security settings and pattern lock not working and crashing on most MM custom ROMs

I have been using the unofficial RR ROM for a while now, but it started getting slow and I wanted a fresh install. So I came here do download the newest release and see that there is an official release now. I flash it and immediately in the setup wizard I notice the problem: I can't set up a pattern lock, or any other for that matter, the settings app just crashes and goes to the previous setup page. Skipping it and later going into the settings gives me the same result when trying to add a pattern/PIN/password. Another curious thing is that when enabling unknown sources it just shows as checked, but as soon as I leave the security settings page it resets and I can't install any apk. After a few tries the security screen started force closing immediately after opening, so I gave up and went to the next ROM, AICP. Sadly I got the same results (and yes I did a factory reset and everything). I tried flashing without SuperSU and xposed, but nothing changed. Next I tried Dirty Unicorns, but also got the same.

I went back to the last version of the unofficial RR that worked for me, but I have some unrelated problems with it, so I would like to have a new release of preferably DU, AICP or RR.

WhatsApp Crashing Flyme OS 5_5.1.5.27R Beta

Whenever I receive a notification on WhatsApp on Flyme OS 5_5.1.5.27R Beta it will continue crashing a lot, even after reboots. Sometimes it will work, but usually it will not. I was wondering if anyone else is facing this issue or has a solution? I'm using the 6045O model of the Idol 3.

Nexus 10 crashing, can not bootup properly

Hello all!

I just received a nexus 10 from someone but only because he said he hasn't used it in like 2 years as he says it's broken. It is indeed "broken". He says it may be a hardware issue.

So what's happening is that when I turn it on, the tablet vibrates, goes to the google logo, and then comes the colored dots swirling around and after a while the tablet crashes. The process then starts all over again and never actually goes to the homescreen.

The only thing I have done so far is do a factory reset from the tablet itself (holding down power + volumes) but that did not fix anything.

What can I do to get it at its default state and working properly? Do I need to update the firmware? What software do I need to download?

If anybody can help, it would be much appreciated. This thing is beautiful and I would love to use it.
