ASK : redmi note 3 - no option to save to email in contact

Hi, i just update my distributor ROM to 7.1.8 via SP Tool and when I tried to save contact there are no option to choose from drop down list to which email (picture attached). Then I updated it to 7.5.1 via OTA and still the same problem. I already login to google account in my device. So that make me confused.

Can I sync Exchange Calendar as push while email as manual for the same account?

Basically, I want to sync my email as manual during peak hours (hours when I am in office and can see emails on my computers constantly as it is annoying to have an alert for the same email on my phone). However, doing so makes my calendar sync as manual as well. Can I sync my calendar on push and email on manual (ideally using peak schedule setting where I will have my emails on push outside office hours)?

I hope it made sense what I am trying to do.

Email Crashing

HI all,

Need some help. For whatever reason my stock email app started crashing today (was fine yesterday). Get the error "Unfortunately, Email has stopped" when trying to reply, forward, reply all, etc. I receive emails and can read them but can't reply or create a new email. Not aware of any updates that would have happened overnight. Running the latest updated software. Any ideas?

Stock Email App Thread Button not working

I see the thread button with a count, but when I tap it, nothing happens. All the other buttons on the bottom row work - reply, forward, delete. My swipes work both left and right (be nice if I could switch those in options though). Seems like everything is normal except that Thread button just won't click - tried in portrait and landscape so it's not like that corner of the touchscreen is dead.

I've rebooted a bunch of times, but I'm not really looking forward to wiping the phone. My email app likely has a bug in it or is misconfigured (or both). I have not found anyone else reporting this issue on the web, but then again searching for the word "thread" is a real issue with forums using that word plentifully.
My stock email is version 3.3.17 on a Samsung Galaxy S6 Marshmallow. In the application manager I don't have any options to clear cache for that app.

Anyone else run into this??

Email transfer via Bluetooth to BMW not working

Email transfer via HTC 10 Bluetooth to BMW idrive not working

I have had HTC M8 and M9 both of which were able to have the emails and SMS messages transferred via Bluetooth to the display (idrive) which was a great feature. The HTC 10 only transfers SMS's. This issue is well documented in forums.

Can't add Gmail account to Email app!

Hello everyone,
When I tried to add my Gmail account to the default email app, I've got this error "can't connect to the server"

I tried different manual setups by changing ports, security type and imap pop servers. Always got same error :confused:

Anyone has that issue?

Oneplus Three - unofficial cm13, missing stock email and exchange app - bypass

I Have the new oneplus three device
I have unlocked bootloader
installed twrp
flashed unofficial cm13
flashed arm64 gapps 6.0
this setup is missing the stock email app and calendar (yellow mail icon)
I need to bypass exchange security for an email account to prevent pushing down draconian security policies

any solutions here? I have a file called cm13.0exchange_fix20160416.zip but after flashing it with twrp it never places the files in the system/app folder like it should, any ideas?
