Screen does not work properly after I tried to root my Galaxy S6 using Odin3

Hello, I'll get straight to the point. After I tried to root my phone the screen somehow messed up and when I try to press somewhere it on the opposite side, e.g. when I swipe to the right side, it swipes to the left side. I have tried to install a different rom, but it doesn't work. If anyone knows how to fix it please share!

Led Light not working properly after downgrade from 6.0.1 - e2306

Hey all,

I recently upgraded to 6.0.1 using flashtool only to find out that root is going to be tricky to gain for locked bootloaders. So I downgraded back to 5.0 build 26.1.A.3.111. After the downgrade I noticed my LED wasn't lighting properly anymore. When i do a test through #*#*7378423*#*# it lights all three test colours, but when I get a message or plug my phone in to charge it seems to light sometimes and not others. I tried using pc companion to repair my device but still had no luck getting my LED to work. It seems as if marshmallow left something behind that won't go away and is wrecking led functionality.

Anyone have a possible solution?

LG G2 America Sprint Version not working properly in India

My brother gifted me an old phone which he was using in America. The LG G2. I think it had some sprint contract initially. When I got the phone I was unable to use my IDEA sim on it. So I visited a local mechanic. He said that it will have to be unlocked. I paid the charges and he gave me phone after a few days. It wasn't working well from that day. I thought maybe its hardware is not so good. And then, one day it stopped saving call logs and giving and error like unfortunately google process has been stopped every time I called someone. Then I visited some other mechanic who previously worked in Samsung Service Centre. He said the device is not unlocked properly. And he has to unlock the device again. For that he started to download some LS980ZVE file from the internet. I peeked into his computer. When I saw build version in my mobile it was previously running LS980ZVE. I didn't interrupted. And paid the charges in advance. Today he called me to visit him. He said that he has installed the new software file he downloaded but when I tried it wasn't accepting my SIM. I tried another SIM but the result was same. He scratching his head said that maybe the device has gone to locked state again. He said me to leave the mobile with him as he will give it to me unlocked tomorrow. But now I am keen that if I can do the unlocking at home. I had a friend who is an engineer. He always talked about unlocking, rooting, jail-breaking etc. He always said that it was a easy job. I couldn't get in contact with him. Then I started searching on google and finally saw XDA DEVELOPERS. I thought of finding a solution here. But couldn't understand a thing. I hope if you people can help me about it.
If you could give me a permanent solution to the problem. Also if I could get latest android version working on it.
Even if there is no permanent solution I am keen to know more about this unlocking thing. How it works and what it requires.

Settings not working properly

My settings app isn't saving some changes I make like when I flip the data switch to turn on it turns on but to switch off I have to do it about three times to see the data icon on status bar to disappear. Sometimes WiFi is stuck at turning on. Generally it seems the settings app isn't immediately changing settings as it should since it is apparently somehow disassociated. Help pls I have a rooted device and I saw these problems after I re rooted using kingroot.

[HELP][Q] How to properly repack ramdisk in order to avoid boot stuck?

I've been playing with XT1097's boot.img and need some help as my boot.img fails to boot if I repack ramdisk.

Using abootimg

Extracting boot.img contents:

abootimg -x boot.img ==> produces bootimg.cfg, initrd.img and zImage files in the current directory

Updating boot.img contents without touching ramdisk (using the one extracted in the previous step):

abootimg -u boot.img -r initrd.img

If I extract initrd.img and try to repack it, then system fails at boot:

abootimg-unpack-initrd ==> produces a ramdisk subdir

Repacking without modyfing ramdisk folder contents:

Even though the generated boot.img's size matches the original one - 10444800 bytes - system gets stuck at boot logo.

The same issue happens if I use these tools combined:
mkbootimg, unmkbootimg, gzip and cpio

Any ideas are welcome :)

Phone Not Booting Properly

I have a rooted One M8 here with a custom ROM and recovery that I have been trying to boot into recovery however every time I try the phone seems to crash, turn of and then won't boot. After about 15, 20 minutes the phone boots up again by itself. Anyone else ran into this problem before or any advice on a solution? Thanks.

Nexus 10 crashing, can not bootup properly

Hello all!

I just received a nexus 10 from someone but only because he said he hasn't used it in like 2 years as he says it's broken. It is indeed "broken". He says it may be a hardware issue.

So what's happening is that when I turn it on, the tablet vibrates, goes to the google logo, and then comes the colored dots swirling around and after a while the tablet crashes. The process then starts all over again and never actually goes to the homescreen.

The only thing I have done so far is do a factory reset from the tablet itself (holding down power + volumes) but that did not fix anything.

What can I do to get it at its default state and working properly? Do I need to update the firmware? What software do I need to download?

If anybody can help, it would be much appreciated. This thing is beautiful and I would love to use it.

Major lags in Moto X Play marshmallow unable to use even for one minute properly

I have installed stock ROM for marshmallow on that i have installed xposed framework v85 and soon after that i am experiencing major lags .. Phone hangs frequently :( not able to use any apps or whatsoever without lag.. :(
I restored my apps using titanium backup..

Is anyone else facing this issue.???

i have also halfed the dpi ie from 480 to 240 .. but even after restoring it back to 480 same problem persists...

please provide solution asap.
