Desire 510 not booting

My HTC Desire 510 from EE in the UK will not reboot after I used the shutdown menu to select 're-start'. It is just a dark screen. Cannot even do a hard reset with 'power-on' and 'volume down' buttons. I have tried taking out the battery, and then doing a hard reset and again nothing. I have left it charging overnight with the original HTC charger and again nothing. None of the charging lights come on either.

I have tried to plug it into the Windows 7 PC with the USB cable and it looks like it is intermittently 'seeing' the HTC but saying the 'device is not recognised' but then the unrecognised device disappears from the Windows USB ports and then again a few seconds later get a 'device not recognised' message with the unknown USB device briefly visible and then it disappears again.

Have not made any modification to the OS since getting it from EE/HTC apart from installing apps and updates. The phone has not been dropped, or got wet or in any other way physically damaged and was working fine.

Any advice/help would be very much appreciated.

I dropped my phone in water and now it's not booting up???

Hi guys,

So three days ago, I dropped my phone in water. I kept it off and didn't touch it for 3 days. Today, I realized there is no more moisture by the cameras and tried to turn it on. When I do, it gets to the screen that says "dm-verity verification failed...need to verify DRK first...". I did try and hit reboot system now, nothing, lopped back to this. I have really important pictures on here.I have a few questions:

1. Can i get the pictures off of here before I wipe?
2. What can i even do to fix this?

I was not rooting the phone or anything like that. I'm pretty much a noob and literally have no idea what to do. I really appreciate any help. it's the green international s6 edge

THANKS GUSY!

Z5 not booting

Hi All

My E6653 is no longer booting after freezing while running a custom rom. When I boot, it shows the Sony logo, then the light flashes red. It does not let me enter TWRP.

I have tried flashing original firmware using flashtool, repairing using xperia companion and the same issue happens.

I have tried flashing different custom kernels and TWRP versions. The only version of TWRP that works is TWRP 2.8.7.0 by AndroPlus but I cannot access the device through usb and adb does not work.

If anyone has any ideas on how to fix I would be super grateful.

P9 Lite booting lock

Hi all, i'm new to Android Phones, so i started a few days with this phone. But now i think i've done a big mistake, i tried to erase everything from the phone, in a hope to "restore" to the factory state. Instead, i think i've deleted everything from the phone, and now, it only says "Your device is booting now..." and it doesn't boot. It's unlocked and rooted, i've deleted it from the TWRP menu.

So, is there anything that i can do, to restore it back? The model i think it's the VNS-L31, i'm downloading a firmware from the L21, can it be replaced or something like that? Thankx in advance.

Pc no longer booting to windows

I have a Dell Laptop running windows 10 and boots via UEFI. I have installed Remix OS beta (64 bit version) several times on the HDD using the Remix program available when downloading from their website. Apart from one occasion only, Remix usually hung and I remained patient, waiting for a version that would work. That happened with the latest version (2.0.403) i.e Remix finally works and the OS boots up normally. However (as is usually the case with life in general) whilst Remix works, when selecting windows from the Grub loader it says that it cannot find the path to windows and I cannot boot into windows. I appreciate that this is a Android forum but this problem is specific to Remix I think and some entry in the grub loader and as such I turn to this forum in case anyone has any ideas so that I can fix the grub loader or whatever and be able to boot into windows - I am of course happy that I can boot into Remix but I also still need my windows!

Thanks a lot in advance

Andrew

Error booting Remix OS on laptop

Hi

I'm trying to boot up remix OS in HDD on a Toshiba laptop of 2006 with those specification

Intel Celeron M370
ATI Graphics
512 MB of ram
80 GB HDD

After successful installation it normally reboot to boot manager and I can select remix os to boot, and then it says:

Quote:

Booting 'Resident Mode - All your data and apps are saved'

(hd0,0)
Filesystem type is NTFS, partition type 0x7
[Linux-bzImage, setup=0x3e00, size=0x4f4480]
[Linux-initrd @ 0x1b9d9000, 0x4b65ae bytes]

output_len: 0x00a30490
run_size: 0x00adc000

Decompressing Linux... Parsing ELF... No relocation needed... done.
Booting the kernel.

Then there is a problem, because after 2 seconds it says:

Quote:

[ 1.959044] intel_powerclamp: Intel powerclamp does not run on family 6 model 13
[ 1.961135] intel_rapl: driver does not support CPU family 6 model 13

I know that hardware is much weak, but seems like there are problems with powerclamp and intel_rapl, somethings related to driver.

There is something I can do to boot up Remix OS on this PC?

phone booting into stock recovery instead of CM recovery after flashing

Hey guys. I'm sort of new to all of this.

I'm trying to install CyanogenMod 13 for my Australian S5 (no carrier) (SM-G900I). From googling, it seems I need to use the "kltekdi" ROM and recovery.

I've been trying to use odin to flash the recovery found here (https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=kltekdi) .

odin doesn't work with img files it seems so I had to use this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2446269) img to tar.md5 converter script thing.

when flashing the recovery, everything seems to go to plan, (shows green pass box), however I just get the stock recovery when I press vol up + power + home instead of the CM recovery.

i did some more googling and some guides suggested pulling the usb cable and battery as soon as the phone begins to reboot or as soon as odin shows the green pass box in order to stop the stock recovery from overwriting my progress.

I tried this but the same thing happens!

Any help would be appreciated.

TWRP Secure Booting Error

Hey there!
I'm trying to install the Team Win Recovery.

Device: LG G3 d855
OS: Android Lollipop 5.0

My Device is rooted, I'm using SuperSU.

I have already tried to install it with: Flashify, TWRP Manager, TWRP Coordinator, Autorec, ROM Toolbox installer, Terminal.

Every time when it looks like its succesful and I reboot into recovery, it shows up a "secure booting error". Then the lamp above the display is blinking red and blue. So I have to remove the battery and power it.

I have already looked for a solution, but nothing I tried worked.( e.g. unlock the bootloader)

"Recovery booting" bootloop

Hi all,

I need your help since I'm stuck with a frustrating issue.

Original issue
I have a N910F (France || Carrier : Free) with originally a bootloop problem. The phone would:
- Boot into the system for a few seconds then bootloop
- When I tried to boot into recovery, it got stuck on "Recovery booting".

What I tried
I have access to download mode. I have tried flashing the phone with different stock ROMs
  • N910FXXS1DPE6_N910FOXX1DPE1_XEF --Latest stock

  • N910FXXU1DPE1_N910FOXX1DPE1_XEF -- Latest stock also (one is for Snapdragon models, not too sure if my phone is Snapdragon or not)

  • N910FXXU1COH4_4FICHIERS_CSC_OXA_PIT INTEGRE_TARDIS -- Android 5.1.1 in 4 files for Odin

Also tried flashing with pit file at some point N910F_TRLTE_EUR_OPEN.pit

I used Odin 3.10.6 and 3.11.1

Also tried Nand erase all and Re-partition Odin options at some point.

Present issue
The problem is now worse, since the phone won't boot into system for a few seconds. It now only boots with a "Recovery booting..." message on top of the screen freezes for a while, then bootloops into "Recovery booting".
I still have access to Download mode though.

Can you guys suggest me something? I don't know what I can do to properly flash this stubborn Note 4.

Thanks in advance for your help

phone not booting anymore after fastboot in recovery mode

Weird issue. Moto X play on stock 6.0 + unlocked bootloader + TWRP + rooted. I wanted to revert to stock to upgrade to 6.0.1, booted the phone to recovery and launched fastboot with "fastboot enter". It stayed on "Waiting for device" for a time so I thought I forgot to install the Motorolo drivers (which actually I didn't, checked after the fact and they're there). I pressed CTRL-C to kill fastboot... and now the phone doesn't boot up anymore and when plugging it to a USB charger the white notification LED is steady on but nothing appears on the screen :crying:

Can't boot it holding the Power button, can't boot to recovery, ... any ideas? TIA.

Phone not booting after bootloader unlock

I just unlocked the bootloader of my 48h old OnePlus 3 using this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/onep...oader-t3398733

After unlocking, it started up fine and I went to the next step. I enabled USB debugging and Advanced Reboot. Then I went to the 2nd step which is flashing TWRP and I shut my phone off. Now it doesn't start up anymore. What could be causing it and how should I fix it?

Edit: Okay, guys. Nevermind. It finally started after I held the power button down for 2 whole minutes. Weird though.

Not Booting to Recovery, Download Available

Hello All,

My Device is SGH-M919...Rooted and was running Cyanogenmod 13.

Last week something went wrong (no idea what happened, but phone went black screen and when rebooted it just stays in boot loop)...Tried to went to recovery to clear cache and format so that i can start over, but it never boots into recovery....So, i re flashed TWRP (which i had earlier), but no joy...

So i decided, to flash the stock ROM and start all over again (not worried of backup as i have daily backup of my calls, sms, pics, videos etc)...

Tried flashing stock via ODIN, it shows succesful, but it still is in boot loop...it just shows the Samsung logo and restarts.....Tried to went to Recovery, but its not booting into Recovery, But am able to goto the Download mode and ODIN recognizes my device...

What am i doing wrong or what am i missing in the whole process of recovering my phone...

Any help is much appreciated.....

Note: I already moved to Moto X Pure, but still miss my S4....:)
