16 Gb of memory instead of 32

I've updated to .253 with all the wipes last week and today I discovered I only have 16 Gb of internal memory now.
Has anybody encountered the same issue? What can cause such a problem? And how can I solve it?

phone booting into stock recovery instead of CM recovery after flashing

Hey guys. I'm sort of new to all of this.


I'm trying to install CyanogenMod 13 for my Australian S5 (no carrier) (SM-G900I). From googling, it seems I need to use the "kltekdi" ROM and recovery.


I've been trying to use odin to flash the recovery found here (https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=kltekdi) .

odin doesn't work with img files it seems so I had to use this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2446269) img to tar.md5 converter script thing.

when flashing the recovery, everything seems to go to plan, (shows green pass box), however I just get the stock recovery when I press vol up + power + home instead of the CM recovery.

i did some more googling and some guides suggested pulling the usb cable and battery as soon as the phone begins to reboot or as soon as odin shows the green pass box in order to stop the stock recovery from overwriting my progress.


I tried this but the same thing happens!


Any help would be appreciated.

S6 Phone boots into recovery instead of working ROM!

Title pretty much says it, I have a custom rom installed which works, but when reboot my phone, TWRP is automatically opened after the initial samsung logo. I usually have to reflash my custom ROM (without wiping any data besides cache and dalvik) and the ROM installer will then reboot into the ROM, however this means when my phone turns off, my recovery is booted up instead of the ROM. I'm really confused :confused:

S6 is a SM-G920F / ROM= Tyrannus v 28.1

Some background into the problem - [This is a quote from my previous post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...#post67859895] "When i tried flashing however, somehow ODIN froze and i made another stupid mistake of restarting my phone from download mode which resulted in the phone being froze on a screen saying " an error has occurred while updating the device software use the emergency recovery function s6 "
So after this happened i then flashed TWRP with odin to solve the quoted error message and i think it was at that point that the bootloader was configured to initialize recovery on bootup as oppose to the actual ROM, not sure though so any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

Rebooting into TWRP instead of system

I recently installed the Google Plus rom and I had a dialogue box pop up from TWRP whenever the phone started and I ticked a dialogue box and dismissed it, and now whenever the phone reboots it goes into TWRP (but i can still access system via the reboot menu in TWRP)
How can i make the device just boot into the System automatically?

How Can Get the actual Pre Shared Key to Application instead of “*” in Android

I am trying to access the pre shered key to my application using WifiConfiguration class provided by Android. The "AccessPoint..getConfig().preSharedKey" returns only "*" if key is present and null if the key is absent.I need the actual the pre shared key. How do i obtain it ?
Is there any other method that I can use to get the key ?(Can I modify WifiConfiguration class?)

Nexus4 turns off instead rebooting

Hello,
I have a problem with my Nexus4 because whenever I use Reboot option it does turn off but won't restart after it unless I hit power button again. The problem happened with multiple ROMs and while rebooting from recovery after flashing. What is wrong? Do I need to reflash bootloader with Fastboot? This started after I bricked my phone and had to give it for service for box revive and restore 16GB memory because I had just 8GB after the process. Did anyone encounter such problems?

I installed Single SIM version of 6.0 instead of Dual SIM

Is there any way I could undo this, without losing warranty? The phone is only a couple months old, but now im stuck with BalongC52B311.
