Thought it would be fun to discuss the strangest, funniest, weirdest etc... Place you have ever flashed a rom to your phone. Present or past phone you have owned. ????

For me, flashed while setting on the toilet doing my business. Also sitting in the living room with my wife near by, she had no idea what I was doing.
Use to ride a commuter train to work, and would download roms and flash on the way to work.

I Tried to install a custom rom but i forgot to do something

I forgot to do facory reset before I started installing a custom rom now its stuck on the screen where the blue smiely is (cyanogenmod logo) I dont know what to do its been like this for 30 minutes and i dont know what to do

Something strange

Woke this morning looked at fone led light was blinking like i had emails or text but nothing on lock screen then unlocked fone and I had emails

so thought OK then hour later fone had a text looked at fone nothing on lock screen again I wondering what's going on everything is stock and I'm not rooted

if I have text or email it won't show on lock screen anymore from this morning I have to unlock the fone anybody else know what it is or know how to fix it

Problem with audio breaking when playing something in background and lock, any help?

I have an issue with my Mate8, I really don't know if this is in all phones or just in mine....

It's when a song or a video is playing, and when the power button is pressed to lock the phone, the audio breaks for like half a second, but if you press the button again to unlock, it do it again, and everytime you press the lock button.... it kinda annoys me a lot.
The rare is that this only happens when the audio is coming from the speakers; when i have anything plugged in (headphones or whatever) it dissapear, and with bluetooth headphones dissapears too.
It happens with all apps, spotify, native app, soundcloud, vlc, poweramp...etc

I'm looking for a Lollipop rom without emui, but I need help with something!

I unlocked my bootloader and converted my Consumer Cellular variant over to the official OEM version and installed the MT2-L03C00B322 update from Huawei website. I absolutely hate EMUI. I hate how the status bar isn't translucent with apps, I don't like the setup of EMUI, I don't like how the notifications are, etc etc. I want just a strictly lollipop ROM, so would PAC Rom be it? Also, can I install twrp to install custom Roms after I did the consumer Cellular conversion to OEM? I had to install twrp for the first part of the conversion and once I did the update it automatically removes twrp and puts the stock recovery back on. I'm pretty fond of flashing, rooting, and more, I've done it with countless devices, but never a Huawei, and I just want to make sure I can do it before I mess something up on this phone. If not, I guess I will go back to my Sony Xperia C4 (which by the way, claims to have a 13MP camera, but the camera is blurry and sucks like none other HAHA)

Smart Switch : Data Restoring Problem (Loop Or Something)

So i was restoring my backup data to my device with Smart Switch,and while it was restoring,my usb cable accidently detached from my laptop. So i had to retry to restore it again. But this time,the Smart Switch said "Data is being restored to the device. Please Try Again Later". I restarted my laptop and my device to see if it does the trick,but it still not working. It still restoring my data,even though it's not actually restoring (if you know what i mean). Can anybody tell me how to fix this problem? Need help please :)

Given I747 has 4.1.2 but downloading something

Hey all, have the above mentioned phone, been wiped clean and factory reset, SD card blank. But when connected to internet it starts downloading an update from Att. Now I want to root, from what I've read bootloader is unlocked, and then twrp and ROM etc. Should I take the update then root or better to root and do incremental updates then ROM. Tremendous amount of info here and am still a little unsure which way to go. Thanks

What's your next device? Note 7 or something else?

I'm assuming a lot of you are like me, and have had the Note 4 close to 2 years now- close to paid for... wondering if anyone is considering getting a Note 7 or something else and why?

I was all excited about upgrading to a Note 7 but the limited research I've done based on the S7 is the bootloader will probably be locked meaning no root, no roms, etc... so now I'm not sure if I just stick it out a while long with my Note 4 or look elsewhere for another device? (nexus ###?)

Is AMOLED burn in something to worry about?

I use an always on display like the s7s on my oneplus 3 (using the glance plus app). I keep it on even throughout the night. I've read about AMOLED burn in on the web. Is it something to worry about?
