Out of nothing I rooted this cell. I want to unroot it and install the stock ROM.

I got some links but unable to download as I dont have premium package and slow package only allows dowloading up to 2GB while the ROM is 2.1 GB.

Please some one send me the correct rom in zip form to my e mail address.

I'm Confused About Which Model I have, So That I can Purchase a Case

I'm a bit lost, as I only recently purchased a Note 10.1 GT-N8013, and some of the answers I'm finding through google seem outdated or not lining up with each other. I checked the thread regarding cases, and it seems pretty old, so it might be missing some info, and two of the cases I checked out are no longer available.

1. Is the N8013 a 2012 or 2013 model? From what it seemed like, there's only a 2012 and a 2014 note, but then I see cases "designed for the N8013" 2013 model. I assumed I have a 2012 model, because it's certainly not the 2014.

2. Do smart covers actually exist for the N8013? I see comments going both ways, on Amazon. Some seem to say it has a magnetic sensor. Others say it has a proximity sensor. Certain covers are listed as smart cases for it, but the reviews often disagree with each other as to whether or not it can sleep and wake via the case being opened or closed.

3. If smart covers do exist for the N8013, does it have to be enabled in the settings, because I'm not finding that option?

4. I'm on 6.0.1 CM13, if that matters.

So basically, I'm looking for two cases. The otterbox defender is way under MSRP, so I'll pick one of those up anyways, and am not concerned about a smart case version there, just that I'm getting the correct model. This would be for traveling, hiking, etc.

The second case I would like would be thin, lightweight, and if possible, be a smart case. I have one like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 for my ipad Air, and would like something like that for the N8013. Tiny, a bit of protection but not much, with a smart flap that magnetically holds the front cover in place and also enables/disables sleep. This would be an around the house case. I would even be ok with something Snugg sized, but again, it's getting on the bigger size, and when I pull up my model on Amazon, it comes up with the 2014 models of the Note, but clearly lists it in the picture section that my model is last gen.

Please assist, because I'm confused due to the odd naming system with the Note tablet series.

What's the model number on that sucker? Went into T-Mobile store and they handed me a spare from the back but it is the QC2.0 model for the V10. Didn't know until I googled the model.

How to verify original model of Moto X 1st gen

Hi,

i recently got moto x xt1056 written on back without any logo ( i don't know xt1056 has logo or no). when i created wifi hotspot inside settings, it showed SSID as "XT1052 FJH 6546".

my question is

how toverify what is its actual model? xt1056 or xt1052?
can we flash xt1052 rom to xt1056 to achieve this?
is it allowed to cross flash?
how to check if someone changes back of moto x xt1056 with plain back cover and flashes xt1058, xt1060 roms to trick some? (if it is possible btw)

Huawei Honor 5C chinese model

I have bought from etotalk store the new Honor 5C nem-u10 (chinese model) and they have rooted the phone and uninstalled some chinese apps but the phone still have some chinese features and apps on it! Can i install a european version of firmware for my phone? Is there a european version (or international) that will solve my problem?
If there is, can you tell me exactly what i have to do ?

My Note 3's Model Name is N9005 but its bootloader is N900PVPUCNC5. And when i enter to download mode then it's model name N900P. I checked IMEI using www imei info it's showing N9005 and its baseband n9005. And it has GPU that called adreno 330. What should i do? It's okey to flash N9005 rom?
Please help me, I would really appreciate any advice.

Trying to find out what model my Moto G is so i can root it

My moto g is able to update its android versions and is black (just listing everything i know about it) when it starts up there is a blue circle with a white M, then has an animation of the world and city etc when starting up. it has a speaker to the left of the camera and a flash underneath with the Motorola M underneath. Power and volume controls on the right. Mini audio jack in the center top of phone for earphones. I cant find a root for this phone either and im just wanting to find out what model this phone is so i can be sure im doing the right method. all help is greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know the difference between these two model number WI502Q-SL-BD-Q and WI502Q-SL-BD ?
The one without the Q has been "discontinued by the manufacture" on a lot of retail sites. Anyone know what the Q stands for?

SM-G930U Unlocked USA model keeps restarting after cell activation.

My new SM-G930U keeps activation its self with the carrier (Sprint) and then says it needs to restart, over and over again. I disabled the Sprint apps that got installed probably used to activate cell service and the phone is fine.

I want to know if this is a know Samsung issue or something. I was no able to move my data and my way through Samsung process it restarts. I had to remove Sim card to allow it to restore my data first then add the sim card after I disabled Sprint apps.

Has anyone had this issue?

How to check Screen panel model?

hi guys . im going to buy a xiaomi redmi note 3 SD but i want to be sure that the screen panel is BOE . in previous version there was a "Device View " menu but i asked reseller to check this menu with *#*#64663#*#* and he said this is just hardware test menu and no information about screen panel is present here. i think the menu has been moved somewhere .... so where can i check it ? and how ?

Unlocked US model on Verizon

I know that the phone isn't OFFICIALLY supported by Verizon, but I wonder if it is like the Nexus 5x and 6p where if you put in an activated Verizon sim, it will work. Looking at the specs from HTC site, it looks like the phone's hardware supports Verizon's cdma bands.

Or what about a Verizon MVNO to get on Verizon's cdma network?

Hello everyone, I am ne to the site and forums for Android software development. I have always wanted to explore Linux OS systems and devices for quite a while but never seemed interesting and now I see that it is very valuable to know and understand. I consider myself a tech but mostly for PC, I hold an AS on Computer Electronics and current going for my BS for IT in Cyber Security and Linux pops up. I want to root my phone but it turns out that the bootloader is locked and I was wondering if I can get some help from you fellow experts. The phone is a Note 4 from ATT with android 5.1.1 installed. [Help] Lg g2 vs 980 recogniced as model L01F

Yesterday I installed this rom:

And after it "finished" the phone got stuck in a fastboot screen, and the usb was not working, neither the recovery nor the bootloader.

So I really screwed it up, the I followed a tutorial in youtube to fix corrupted qhsubs , It was awfully hard to make my device to work, so now that I'm finally capable of entering into the bootloader when I use the lg flash tool with kdz, it gets stuck at 2%.

If i try to flash via tot+dll it shows that my lg model is the L01F.

I have read about doing a cross dll editing with a hex editor, but I have tried and I dont get to work neither the dll nor the tot file :(

I am so desperate, can someone out there save my life please :(

Q's about repacing motherboard. Newer model? Different carrier?

So i recently hard bricked my h810 g4. (backstory post #2)

I was looking into replacing just the motherboard. I came across some cheap ones for t-moblile. Which would be nice because thats the service i use plus they are more rootable. Even it i get a blocked one, If i can get it to boot up i can sell it for parts with proof that it actually works.

Is it possible to swap the motherboard with one from a different carrier?

Also my phone was a beta phone. Serial starts with 503, so im wondering if i can even replace it with another h810.

Any advice would help.
