10a vs 10d Stock ROM Differences

Maybe this is totally not the right place to post this question but since this is where we can download different ROMs I figured I'd give it a try.....

Does anyone have an official changelog of the latest 10 d so that we can see the difference between it and 10 a ?

Also, with other brands of phones such as HTC and Samsung, in the past we were able to flash modems and other aspects of a ROM separately to a newer version without having to touch a bootloader image. If the latest version 1 0 d is in fact superior to 10a is it possible to flash all the other aspects 10 d while still retaining the boot bootloader of 10a?

Firmware differences

If anyone could give me some advice I'd be grateful. I bought my HTC 10 second hand from someone here in the US. When I took possession of the phone the firmware it was running was 1.80.401.1

I am using the phone on AT&T network here in the US but I keep seeing stuff through out the internet that shows us unlocked should be running 1.80.617.1

Is there any difference between them? Does it matter which I run? Would running the 1.80.401.1 version explain why I do not show AT&T volte settings?

Can someone/anyone using the HTC 10 on AT&T primarily let me know which firmware I should be using.. Thanks for any help guys

GT-I9300T - Is there any major differences?

Hi guys, I currently have a GT-I9300T model which is originally from Vodafone AU as it has their boot screen. I am currently stuck with 4.3 as it has no updates to firmware. I want to upgrade to at least 4.4.

What I am wondering is if there is any major differences between the GT-I9300 and the GT-I9300T in terms of custom firmware compatibility and rooting? I'm incredibly new to this sort of thing. Would mine be the international version?

Lastly, if it's actually possible to upgrade my particular model, is there any reputable 4.4 ports that would work and that you would reccomend? I want to use this as a learning tool incase I ever upgrade my phone and want more customization.

Differences between root and unlock bootloader

Is it true just because we have root does not mean that we can flash custom rooms and kernels?We still need the bootloader unlocked before we can flash custom roms and kernels right?and the bootloader needs to be unlocked in order to be able to flash a custom recovery onto the G7 correct?so if this is all correct then basically just being rooted don't really do alot for us without the bootloader being unlocked.could someone please tell me if I'm right or wrong. Thanks!!!

differences between official and unofficial RR roms (kenzo)?

In fact, what's the difference between official and unofficial Resurrection Remix roms for kenzo? Which is the most stable currently?

Besides that, do I need to flash developer miui rom before trying to unlock bootloader/install twrp/install RR? Currently I'm with the Chinese seller's custom rom ("shop" rom).
