how to root d850 marshmellow?

Hi, I just got a d850. my headphone jack activates google voice. the fix in this thread requires root: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g...ained-t2871550

the only way to root marshmellow I've found is kingroot. and its temporary. which should be ok cause I just need to edit that file. I read that kingroot sends your imei to chinese servers. is this true?

[ROOT] No root for D850 MM 6.0?

I have a stock LG G3 D850 w/ MM 6.0. I want to switch to Fulmics, but I cannot find any working method to root D850 w/ MM 6.0. I have even tried Kingroot and One Click Root methods to no avail. As far as I can find, there is no working way for D850 users to convert to Fulmics. Please correct me by providing steps/guide/links specific for D850 MM 6.0 users. Otherwise, I'll stand with this not being possible for us... Thanks!

However when I attempt to put in recovery mode, the LED on the phone flashes blue and orangeish-red (I don't know, maybe I'm color blind), and the device manager pops up with a driver called QHSUSB_BULK that is corrupted. I believe the cause of this was the attempted root with KingRoot (success), then AutoRecMM (apparent failure) for the D850. Not quite sure what happened, but when the reboot happened I tried to put it into recovery, and no dice, just experienced the lights and the corrupted driver installation. I've been looking for days and haven't found anything because all fixes required Fast Boot, Recovery, Download, or open access from the phone for ADB. I know the large majority of the users on XDA are far more knowledgeable than I am about fixing "bricked" phones, so please if any one can help I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks fellas.

LG D850 not restoring to stock rom

Trying to flash back stock rom but near the end of the flash process(around 90% or 94%) the phone gets stuck boot looping at the LG screen. This happens for both the Upgrade mode and the Board DL mode. When I try to power the phone on by itself it either gets stuck on the LG screen or vary rarely makes it to the blue factory reset screen with the 2. I can get into the factory reset screen and tell the phone to reset but all it does is pop up the Android with spinning blue thing in its chest for about a second and then starts boot looping again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

LG FlashTool Error, can not boot D850

I went the following operation.

1) I was trying to root on D850.
It was success.
2) I was trying to install TWRP3.0 from TWRP manager.
But it failed. Then I could not install the TWRP2.8.
3) I have tried a factory reset from LGFlashTool.exe
I can not be factory reset.
Error occurs.

D850 wrong rom

Hi everyone in this incredible web!

I bought the LG G3 D850 AT&T kitkat (T-mobile logo on the back), and flashed the D855V Marshmallow with LGUP. :eek:

I get this message "current version is not available for user. Can't find matched cust for NT-code mcc/mnc [310410] subset [FF]"

Since then the SIM card will get no signal. I've tried every possible thing to flash any rom that will work.

Anybody can help me, please??

LG G3 D850 Resurrection

My Samsung GN 4 died and I resurrected my LG G3. I did a hard rest and it update to 6.0. I am on ATT. I was contemplating putting on Fulmics rom but am having a difficult time rooting. I used Quick Root and there was no root available for my device. I downloaded Kingroot which seemed to work until I rebooted. I tried to find Autorec for MM d850 and couldn't seem to. I guess I'm asking is this device not rootable? I tried an adb flash and couldn't complete the root process. I have rooted for years. Samsung's is locked down and you can't root on the GN 4. I wondered if this was the same deal?

LG G3 AT&T D850 3G not working in Pakistan

I have recently bought a used LG G3 D850 AT&T model. The problem is that I'm only getting GPRS or 2g network instead of 3G. I have changed the "Preferred Network mode" to GSM/WCDMA/LTE auto mode but still to no avail. The phone is unrooted atm. I'd be grateful if anybody can help me!
