How to verify original model of Moto X 1st gen

Hi,

i recently got moto x xt1056 written on back without any logo ( i don't know xt1056 has logo or no). when i created wifi hotspot inside settings, it showed SSID as "XT1052 FJH 6546".

my question is

how toverify what is its actual model? xt1056 or xt1052?
can we flash xt1052 rom to xt1056 to achieve this?
is it allowed to cross flash?
how to check if someone changes back of moto x xt1056 with plain back cover and flashes xt1058, xt1060 roms to trick some? (if it is possible btw)

bootloader version is 30.BE

thanks

Verify Your Account VS986 G4

Hi everyone,

So my Verizon G4 VS986 recently had a bootloop issue and was sent in to LG to fix the phone. They sent it back and what they said they did was to replace the flash memory. Obviously the phone has been reset and all my data is wiped as warned before I sent the phone in. The phone now boots up but I'm stuck at verify your account. I logged in to my google account on this phone and after two step verification was a success, I still cannot move forward and am stuck at the verify your account.

I looked into this issue online and found that this is part of the Factory Reset Protection built into 5.1. In either case, I did not change my password to my google account at all, it is still the same password, so the 72 hour wait rule shouldn't apply here at all. I also can't bypass the protection either since some of the methods require that you go into the Accessibility as seen here through this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/g...count-t3223518 . My issue is that that Accessibility menu is not present on the initial screen, only language and moving forward.

So what are my options now? Contact LG about my issue or is there a way I can contact Google? Is it possible that the original account information is stored on the flash memory which LG replaced and now the account I need to log in is of some different user? If that's the case, am I forever stuck on this screen and this phone is effectively dead? Or is there something I can do that I haven't discovered yet? If anyone could help, it'd be a great help, thank you.

Can't enter recovery or update: boot certification verify error

I am on 6.0.1 CyanogenMod13. I haven't done a whole lot root-wise but just today I was looking to get something from xposed and it turned out I didn't even have it installed, so I downloaded it and installed it but needing to flash the .zip I tried to boot into TWRP recovery. Somehow it got uninstalled or something because I could only get into the LG stock screen asking if I wanted to wipe everything. So I tried to install TWRP using Flashify, I installed and on the reboot it gave me a "Can't Enter Recovery Or Update" and some more things about it on the top left above the boot logo. I can't do anything recovery-wise. I'm looking to sell my G2 but I want to make it stock or at least a clean install and I can't do any of that. What can I do??

[Q] Android 4.4.2, the security option "verify apps" keeps toggling itself on

I don't like a scan periodically scanning my apps in the background, so I wanted to turn it off, but even after toggling it off (in the main security page in the tablet's menu), it ends up toggling itself back on a few hours later without my consent. Is that a common issue?

I went on the google settings page as well and unticked the two options to verify apps and send analysis info, and the funny thing is that merely accessing that page without changing the settings (and when they are already unticked) will automatically toggle the "verify apps" setting in the main security menu on the tablet. Although even if I dont visit that page, leave them unticked there and have it unticked in the main security menu, it will still toggle itself back on a few hours later in the main security menu.

What's going on here? Is google pushing that option to be on at all time to scan your apps regardless of users choice?
