Can I make flashable img file for (android tool) from cwm Backup

Hi,
I'm having big problem by low level format of my tablet RK3188(chip) have no idea of model is 10' one.
I'm looking to make a flashable img files from my backup CWM recovery to use with Android tool since my tablet is unknown
china with RK3188 chip.
Since the :recovery, system, boot, kernel are large files in cwm I need to make them smaller (proper size) to use with Android tool. Please correct me if I'm wrong and tell me if its possible or any other way to get to my CWM .I just need to get to recovery. Please help.

Xperia M5 Marshmallow update with flash tool

I'dlike to update my Xperia M5 to marsmallow i tried with Xperia companion app and it showing everything is up to date but i has 5.1 lolipop I think it still not availalble in my country so if somone can make some video tutorial about flashing with flash tool because i never done this before so I afraid of bricking my phone :rolleyes: in question is E5306 model

SP Flash Tool download does not start when trying to install TWRP

Hi everyone,
i just got my P9000 and I'd like to get root access and install TWRP.
Therefore I followed different tutorials on how to install TWRP using sp flashtool but always got stuck.
Serveral times the name of my scatter file was invalid (it did work with some files though).
Even if i got to load the scatter file, I clicked on download but nothing happend.
I am currently running Windows 10 64bit and the latest firmware on the P9000.
1. I did install the usb-drivers (after disabling driver signature enforcement)
2. I loaded the scatter file in sp flashtool
3. I connected the phone (turned off)
4. Download does not start at all

Is there a way to see wether the drivers are correctly installed and if the device is connected at all?

G3 Automatically Boots into DL mode. Can't use LG Flash Tool, IMEI all 0's

I was having sms issues on cm13, and it was suggested that I flash the TOT again.

Not sure what happened the first time I tried to flash the TOT, but I was following directions as always and just assumed it would work flawlessly as it has done in the past. It failed somewhere along the line but I wasn't paying too much attention .

Now the phone automatically boots into DL mode (after LG screen, unusual), and anytime I try to flash a TOT now the flash tool goes from "Waiting for Connection" to showing a PID and showing my IMEI as null (all 0's). After some googling around I realize that this is not good in the slightest. The flash tool will timeout after ~20s and try again, but just keeps timing out endlessy after 20s.

This looks to me like a brick but I don't have enough experience or knowledge to say for sure. If anyone has suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

OnePlus 3 Tool Kit "Waiting for Device"

one year & half ago I've created this tool, the main idea was not new, it has been implemented so many times, but I believe that majority of implementations has just covered the most basic and direct commands of ADB/Fastboot,

So, this revive shall FIX WHATEVER PROBLEM YOU FACED WITH THE OLD TOOL. make sure to check the changelog [2nd post].

INSTALLATION :

• first you have to install ADB Installer tool, it will install ADB to your System directly, so no need for any additional files (make sure to give @Snoop05 a Thanks :good:) .
• then run Simple ADB.jar and that's it!

GUIDE :

• select from "ADB", "Fastboot" or "Your own command" buttons :

- if "ADB"is selected the combobox will contain lots of adb commands :
Check if Device connected properly (adb devices).
Android Logcat.
Install a specific APK file(Android Application).
Uninstall apk <package> .
pull a file from your Android Device to your PC.
push a file from your PC to your Android Device.
View tasks running in your Android device.
Check your Android Device Memory usage.
Check your Android Device storage usage.
Kill all background processes.
Normal Reboot.
Reboot to recovery mode
Reboot to download mode (for Samsung Devices).
Reboot to bootloader mode.

- if "Fastboot" is selected the combobox will contain lots of Fastboot commands :
Reboot to Fastboot mode.
Unlock Patterns/passowords with two methods
Flash Update.zip.
Flash recovery.img.
Flash boot.img.
Wipe (System,data & cache) before restoring nandroid backup.
Flash system.img.
Flash data.img.
Flash cache.img.

- if "Your own command" is selected the combobox will be disabled , and you can write your (still one line) command in the red area.

• Hit Activate to (well, activate the command :cyclops: ).

• Hit Abort to stop the currently running operation ( please think twice before aborting a command).

• You have the Options menu that contains :
- xda thread : to visit this thread.
- ADB Installer : to visit ADB Installer thread.
- Reset : to set the frame as you first opened it.

Downgrading from 47A to 10B, LG Flash Tool stops at 4%

Just got a refurb g3 off of amazon with 47a installed. I'm following this guide to download and after that I was going to use this method to finish the root.

Everything seems to be setup correctly, but after "Verifying phone connection..." the flash tool gets to 4% and then goes to this screen
Nothing happens on the phone when it is in download mode, just stays at 0%.

Any help on the issue would be appreciated.

Sony flash tool EMMA is compatible with windows 8.1?

Although I followed instruction correctly, its not working on windows 8.1. Any idea? Appreciate for help.

[TOOL] FIRMWARE BASE SWITCHER for A6000 PLUS

Its really annoying and time consuming when we have to flash KK ROM over L or vice versa. Some time ago, another xda member @rahulsnair, made the small sized (~1MB) zips, after flashing which you can directly flash L ROMs over KK or KK ROMs over L. Unfortunately that was for A6000 1GB RAM version only. So, I replaced the files in that zip and modified it for A6000 plus.

All the credits goes to @rahulsnair only. I just replaced the files.

flash tool and sony companion failed

My phone xperia Z c6603 was rooted and it failed by updateing Android 5.1.1 10.7.A.0.228 on Sony Companion. Repair failed too.

can i flash the ftf stock rom with an unlockedbootloader ???
beacause i tried to install it but i get error >> can not process system.sin
so i relcoked my boot loader trying to flash it I get the same error !!

Lenovo s920 , TOOL DL Image Fail , Uboot is blocking by dlinfo

Ok so as described in the title my phone lenovo s920 is stuck in a boot loop

what happened :

1. updated to latest lenovo firmware via ota

2. all apps crashing

3. downloaded 4.2 stock and flashed to phone via sp flash tool

4. PMT to be downloaded problem

5. Formatted via sp flash tool

6. Flashed successfully

7. Problem tool dl image failed :(

8. Tried flashing again with usb and emmc checksum

9. problem not fixed


Any help will be appreciated

unlock tool doesn't work & root for mm?

Hello gents

The official unlock tool doesn't work for me after running it "Unfortunately, Unlock device tool has stopped. (the unlock tool has never worked for me, even after registering and calling support which was awful)

I have the right version and I'm using a fresh stock MM as of last night.

Any ideas on what I should do next to gain root and unlock the bootloader with this setup?

Much appreciated.
