A6000 rom and Gapps problems

Hey folks I'm new here and I recently rooted my phone and flashed a z5 rom from the XDA rom thread. Link below

So it all went fine but now I'm incurring some problems.
Firstly I didn't notice that the Gapps is closed for updates I don't know if that affected the issue but the Google play is not working and some other Google stuff as well.

And I thought I'll flash new Gapps which are being kept up to date but my phone won't connect with the PC with the usb now so I don't know how do I flash the Gapps now.

I have re Rooted my phone using the Kingo app but it still won't reconnect.

So any help on these issues would be really helpful!

One last question that if I do find a way to flash the Gapps will I have to reflash the rom again?

Lenovo A6000 plus stuck on MI Logo and I can't enter into the cwm ..Please help

Yesterday I tried to flash CWM using TWRP... After that I dont able to enter into cwm or twrp mode :rolleyes:
Now Im stuck on Mi logo but I can enter into fastboot mode so I tried to flash CWM using Minimal fastboot but my device not detected :confused:
Please help

Also i was facing a problem like screen surrounds color becomes red. Like its gonna blast now.. now sometimes Only blink outline of screen with red color !!! anyone faced this.

Lenovo A6000 Plus VoLTE support.

Is there any custom ROM out there for A6K+ with VoLTe support?

Stock ROM doesn't have VoLTE support.

Its really annoying and time consuming when we have to flash KK ROM over L or vice versa. Some time ago, another xda member @rahulsnair, made the small sized (~1MB) zips, after flashing which you can directly flash L ROMs over KK or KK ROMs over L. Unfortunately that was for A6000 1GB RAM version only. So, I replaced the files in that zip and modified it for A6000 plus.

All the credits goes to @rahulsnair only. I just replaced the files.

You can download the zips from the attachments.

NOTE: Its for Lenovo A6000 Plus only. For A6000 refer to this thread by rahulsnair

[GUIDE] How to Create Custom Splash Screen (Boot Logo) for Lenovo A6000

Note:
This is not bootanimation, this is the splash screen (the 'Lenovo' boot logo which is displayed when device is switched ON)
This is for Lenovo A6000 & A6000 Plus Only..

Requirements:
1. Rooted Lenovo A6000 or A6000 Plus (any ROM)
2. Terminal Emulator app

STEPS to create splash.img:

Before proceeding, make sure fastboot is setup properly in your computer (just incase something goes wrong)..

1. Make sure you have a 720x1280 picture in PNG format.

2. Download & Extract this: Lenovo_A6000_Splash_Maker.zip

3. Now rename your picture as splash.png & replace it inside "pics" folder
(Similarly you can also change splash2.png if you wish)

4. Finally, run the 'Create_Splash.bat' to create splash.img , which you can find inside the "output" folder.

STEPS to flash splash.img:

1. Transfer the splash.img to your device's Internal Storage.

2. Open Terminal Emulator & enter the following to flash it:

(You can also flash from fastboot as given below)

Note:
Incase something goes wrong or device doesn't bootup, flash the stock splash.img from fastboot like:

A6000 Downgraded to KK s40 from S58 lollipop(issue over heating)

Hi,
I downgraded Lenovo A6000 from lollipop s58 to s40 kk stock ROM.
flashed using stock recovery with total wipe.It work fine for week,now its show warning CPU over heating and it get restarts,battery also drain rapidly.
suggest stable ROM also as daily driver.
plz need help.

Bricked A6000 Please help

hi everybody
i'm new at lenovo development thread ,and as i'am bored of laggy a6000 firmware especially after updates i decided to do root and flash custom roms so i did root successfully and installed TWRP recovery and then downloaded Carbon rom and placed it on memory and flashed "CM11 MoStock v1.48 .img"Kernel ,after flashing kernel system couldn't start and stucked on Lenovo logo and i think it's normal as the kernel not compatible with the stock rom so on TWRP i did wipe for data ,cach and dalvik cach and flashed the rom but i'm not sure if it was flashed properly or not it always says at the start of installation "not found MD5 " and after 2 minutes it say successful
after rebooting system it goes on bootloop and now i don't no what i have to do to please help me :)

there was an option of installing the os in the twrp recovery mode but i didnt do it. i thought of switching off. now it doesnt even turn on.not even in recovery mode.what shoulld i do???. HELP
