What exactly is taking up space in internal memory?

I tried using ES file explorer and SD Maid to analyze internal memory as i have only 500MB of internal storage free and Im not able to install any apps. I was really shocked after seeing the results as if you manually add up size of each individual folder, they hardly add up to 4 GB. I want to know is there any app or some method by which we can thoroughly analyse the internal storage something like spacesniffer for windows?
My device is rooted and running on stock rom( android version- 6.0)

Help taking first step to rom my new smartphone

Hello,
I got my G2 two days ago (used), i come from an htc one m7, i use to unstall all kinds of custom roms and recoveries, but scrolling through this forum i can't seem to understand the best way to install TWRP and rom the phone.

WHAT I HAVE :
- verizon LG G2 completely stock non rooted, software verison 3AA

WHAT I WANT :
-install latest TWRP to be able to install custom roms like cm13

WHAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND :
-Some tutorials mention something about flashing bootstacks, others tell me to root then install twrp directly using some app
-i presume that my software version 3AA is greater than 39A, the latest bootstack is made for 39A so will it cause a problem if i flash that bootstacks ?

all explanations will be appreciated

Taking Logcat In Redmi 2 Prime

can anyone explain how to take logcat in redmi 2 prime (or any android) step by step details. what are the requirements?. Is pc or laptop necessary to take logcats? plz..... I want to help dev's by giving logcat

Storage is counting internal files Twice taking up too much space

Anyone know how to fix this issue.

/storage/emulated/0
/storage/emulated/legacy

They both contain the same files and are linked together. So if I erase something from one it is erased on the other. That's fine I understand they have the same files.

The issue is my phone is counting the space being used twice. Say I have 14 gb's of free space. Then I download a 2 gb file and I go from 14 gb to 10 gb free.

I also noticed that these 2 paths are linked and have the same files /storage/sdcard0 and /sdcard.

Now I've discovered that all 5 of these paths have the same files I have a Galaxy S6 so I only have internal memory.

/storage/emulated/0
/storage/emulated/legacy
/storage/sdcard0
/storage/sdcard
/mnt/sdcard

Please help it's bad enough I only have 25 gb of space to begin with. Having 12.5 is even worse.

/storage/emulated = 7 gb
/storage/emulated/0 = 3.5 gb
/storage/emulated/Legacy =3.5 gb

Shouldn't /storage/emulated = only say 3.5 gb?

LG G3 taking different motherboard

Hello, sorry for the question, I just wanted to make sure that everything will be alright. I have a G3 model D855 which has a broken / defective motherboard. And as I'm looking for the same motherboard, the other guy sells motherboard of cat6 LG G3 model F400L. Can the motherboard of F400L fit into the unit of D855? thank you so much for answers.

Note taking forever to recharge

For example today it took over three hours to charge from 57% to 100%.Phone was being charged whilst turned off.

Noticed the other day when recharging both the recharger & the back of the Note got pretty warm whilst recharging & phone turned off.

Could this be caused by an app, say something like anti-virus, I run Avast?
