Ugh help my 626s wont boot anything marshmallow broke everything It will only get to htc boot screen and then reboot back to it I have twrp I tried other roms but no avail I cant use RUU and I cant use the RUU rom file because my software version is to newer and it also says

Hi,

I just got my new Samsung UHD Screen and tried screen mirroring my S7 Edge with Smart View to play some Emulator Games. The lag is horrible, it's around one second, unplayable. Is there any alternative or any way to do something about that? Thanks!

[BRICKED] I have Bricked my Galaxy S5 and can't Flash back or do anything!!

Hey everyone,

This is my first time posting here, My phone is a Galaxy S5 SM-G900V and it is not rooted and does not have a custom recovery that can unlock for MicroSD installing..

I have factory reset cleared cache, pushed files with ADB and I need unlocked Bootloader/recovery to use the StockRom/MD5 file to recover my phone.

I have tried many different tar files and stock firmware flashing and it always fails. I am at a loss because I believe I have tried literally everything, Only thing I have not done is flashed a Pit file because I am not a developer and know nothing about it. Only thing I know is that it Re-partions the device and if it goes wrong *Which it probably will* It will need a Motherboard replacement.. I dont have money for that because Im only 15 years old..

Another thing I heard which could fix this is using the Verizon software upgrade assistant but I cannot seem to find a download for it anywhere, so if anyone can get me the program for my device that would be amazing

Any help would be wonderful. If i wasn't thorough enough, please tell me what might assist in helping me diagnose this. This turned out to be one of the worst mistakes I have ever done*been trying to fix for whole week*.

New to XDA,Rooting and almost anything related to the phones software

Hey guys. I have been using the Oneplus One wit CM13 and I just got handed an HTC 10 from my friend, and after using it I felt quite restricted software-wise as compared to the OPO. I do know what are the advantages of rooting (Getting full control of the phone for starters). But i dont have the slightest clue as to how to do it, what software tools and equipment I need and what may happen if I succeed or screw up :p :p . Long story short, I'm a true newbie at this and would like to learn a lot before messing around and bricking my phone or something. So i just wanted to ask where I should start off and i'll be on my way and keep reading.

Help :( TWRP Can't mount anything!?!?!?!?!

Today was not the best day. I wanted to try a rom out but it ended up needing 6.0 to install. I said whatever and tried to restore back to 5.1.1 (would not get past bootloader). It kinda worked... I got my my bootscreen but it stopped there. Now that I think of it, I may have needed to reflash the kernel? I couldn't perform a factory reset. It said it could not mount anything. It has been like this ever since. Anyways, I got locked out of my phone and used odin to flash 6.0 (I had a 5.1.1 file also but decided not to so I could try the ROM). I rooted it with odin and installed twrp. Same thing. Cant flash anything, backup, restore, etc. Everything else works (kinda I hate 6.0 but cant go back). I want to install xposed to get gravity box working. TL;DR I screwed up TWRP flashing a rom that needed 6.0, not 5.1.1 now I cant mount anything in TWRP. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Setup wizard has stopped cant do anything on my phone mo homescreen menu or anything!

Bro i need serious help. I have a sony xperia zl and i have rooted the device and it was all fine but was experiencing Gapps issue as i was nt able to open google play even if i ws logged in got an error of RH-01, tried all things to solve it like log out n log in again etc etc but i think it smhow had wrong gapps perks so i downloaded new perks n tried to install it manually in the system file as i kept my stock rom. Aftr tht i restarted my device and since thn i cant do anything with it as receiving the error "setup wizard jas stopped" I tried wht ws mentioned here but i only found the cm file for setup wizard no any android file!! Please help wht should i do nw?should i try to install cynogenmod by connecting it to pc or wht??? Anyone anything? Please mail me if anyone has any idea to solve it at arnabrajdutta2014@gmail.com

Hello everybody, I've been using a Zuk Z1 since november and I'm quite satisfied with it.
Some months ago, the G Sensor stopped to work. I've tried the calibration, it seems successful but it doesn't work at all. So I'd like to try another rom, hoping it'll be working again.

Some months ago, I installed Cyanogenmod 13 and, immediately after, ZUI but it didn't work correctly with my smartwatch so I dediced to go back to the original COS, also restoring Cyanogen Recovery. Now I can't flash anything from fastboot: both on Windows 10 and Linux (on three different computers), I can use ADB when the phone is on COS, but when in fastboot I get a "unable to enumerate usb device" and isn't recognised at all.

Is there anything I can try go get out of this problem? I can go to recovery, but can't flash anything as it says that the signature isn't correct.

P700 "android.ui has stopped" is displaying all the time. Can not do anything.

I got this phone broken and i can't fix this.
All the time there is "android.ui problem has stopped", even if i click ok, it shows again continiously.
I tried to flash a new firmware with KDZ, but even if i do this, there is still problem with that.
After flash, there is alert with "wipe data" too, but i can't read this, because alert with "android.ui..." shows immediately.
So i wanted to install CWM and then wipe the phone. But i need to turn on "usb debugging", of course i can't do this :laugh:
What should i do? Is it possible to fix this or throw out this phone?

Serious problem can do anything with my k3 note

Hi guys, i have a serious problem... i flashed this rom ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/k3-n...e-k50-t3398131 ), all was ok, but now everything FC after reboot... and i cant go back to stock, because i cant wipe or reflash recovery, there is PERMANENT TWRP 302-3 which CANT wipe anything or flash anything... what can I do? i tried SP flashtools, but i do something wrong, because it reboots my phone instead of start flashing...

I cannot do anything on my P8 lite single sim ALE-L21...update...downgrade...rooting: the smartphone goes in bootloop...the only firmware that works on my smartphone is the B203, if I try to flash (also from fastboot) any other firmware (single sim or dual sim, old or new), the smartphone goes bootloop and I am to flash from fastboot boot, recovery, cust and system firmware b203...only in this way the smartphone begins to work...if i try to root, the smartphone goes bootloop...though if I try to flash custom recovery, the smartphone goes bootloop...I tried all but the result is always the same...what is my error? :confused: Please help me :rolleyes:

'Power off' button on lockscreen, doesn't let me do anything else.

Gave my Z2 for repair at a local shop and they replaced the battery and reset the firmware to an older one - 17.A.2.0.25 (i think) running Kitkat. On the lockscreen there's a giant Power off button that doesn't go away, and I've traced it to com.sonyericsson.startupflagservice. I rooted and upgraded to Marshmallow, and now the lockscreen stays there and keeps popping back, preventing one from using the phone for anything. I've heard suggestions to use ES file explorer to delete this process, but I cant do anything with the damn screen getting in the way. Is there any other way to fix this?

UI dead, can't do anything but power off

I have a 2013 Moto X running cyril279's SlimLP (http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto...sters-t3247303). This morning it froze, so I rebooted, and now it's almost completely unresponsive. Can't get in, no lock screen, nothing but a black screen. If I hold the power button it'll show the Power Off - Reboot - Airplane Mode menu, but that's all I can get out of it. Tried a cache / dalvik wipe, didn't work. Booted into safe mode, didn't work. I'm guessing a factory reset might fix it but I would like to avoid that if possible.

Factory Reset Fails. I/O error and cant install roms. Cant do anything with my phone.

Is my phone bricked for real ?

I had installed rom from http://forum.xda-developers.com/note...t/rom-t3324244 and it was working fine. Yesterday after a call it went into Bootloop and I had to perform factory reset to get it out of the state.

Today again after a call, my phone went to boot loop but this time I saw that the apps were getting optimized and would begin the bootloop on every reboot.

Went to TWRP and tried to perform a simple cache wipe and I get a lot of "Error opening: '/data/data/com.android.*.* (I/O error)"

Data wipe is also not able to recover the situation nor is a zip installation of the same rom.

So any steps possible here ?

So, I've had this problem before, and I know that I managed to get my pc recognise that I plugged in my phone, and updated it with the LG Support Tool but this time nothing seems to be working. If anyone could give me some advice on this problem, I'd be really happy, as I'd really need my phone right now. Thank you in advance.

Anything on how to unlock the bootloader/Install Cyanogen 13 on S4?

I've done a **** ton of research for about 2 months now, and have come up with this
1) Verizon/AT&T/Samsung are the worst companies in existence.
2) I'm doomed to have ****ty lollipop for the rest of my S4's existence.
3) Unlocking the bootloader is completely impossible as of what I've read.
4) Not a lot is said about the S4 anymore, since it's so old.

Anyway. I'm trying to collect info for the S4, since jumping from thread to thread for hours on end is giving me a headache. My questions are
1) Has ANYONE come close to unlocking the bootloader on an S4 as of June 2016
2) If not, Has anyone come close to getting Cyanogen 13 working with safestrap? Or a varient of Cyanogen? (I know it doesnt work because it needs to be TouchWiz based)
3) If Cyanogen 13 ( Or a touchwiz variant) doesn't work. Is there a safestrap compatible rom that looks/feels like marshmallow?
4) If THAT isn't a thing. Can I make one?

Sorry If I'm breaking any rules (I'm about 99% sure I'm not but like to apologize anyway), but I am really tired of jumping forums, getting a headache, and ripping my hair out, just to hardbrick my phone. Thanks!

Did I screw anything up while rooting my phone?

Hi everyone this my first post here so I'm not sure if it's in the right place. I just made an account on this site because I couldn't find any information on my question.

When I was trying to root my phone I was following a youtube tutorial, so I put my phone into download mode and transferred the root file onto my phone. The program said it was successful each time I ran the program but the phone would not restart like in a video. I transferred the file 5 times before I switched to a different tutorial and successfully rooted my phone without issue.

But now I'm wondering if there are any side effects that can happen to my phone (like battery drain or slowing it down) because of all those files I attempted to root my phone with.

Galaxy s7 android 6.0.1
