UMI super touchscreen problem help please

With 1 mounth of usage my umi super is having some troubles with the touchscreen: when i asked for help on umi suport they give me this advise:
Steps:
1,Press the power button and volume button "-" on the same time,
2,Choose the recovery mode
3, Then Choose Dthe third and the fourth options( wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition) after entering the recovery mode.

witch i try to but it seems the only option i can do is the one with emmc on the end witch factoy format the phone. the problem percists, randoms touchscreens without any interaction by the user (seems the phone as is own life i do not touch anything and it keeps selecting options).

what can i do, for over 1 week i try to contact suport but they are not responding.

I'm ok to admit, I'm an ultra noob to android roms/rooting/ etc. and am asking for any help.

I've taken a few days and been plowing through videos and threads beyond what I can now feel comfortable and/or comprehend.

My end goal is to get native Hotspot on my phone, so my son can use his Tab 4 for wifi access.

Then also if anyone per-2016 has had success with Hotspot wifi on their Sprint S4, same version as I have.

My camera is super dark in AR mode Pokemon GO

Hi, while using Pokémon GO's AR mode results in terribly dark images, everything on my display is pitch black, except the brightest light sources around.

I try with different ROMs but the problem persist ( N&N 7.1, N&N Slim, Fulmics 4.2, Fulmics 5.3, Tekcafe 5.3, PrimeG3 1.4 y Limitless Full UX5.0 v10.1.) LG D855 International 32gb

Aanyone else have this? Anyone have a fix? :(

Cant update super su

Hi guys im new here and absolutely a noob so Please Help me.
Well my problem is i Cant update my supersu, And in what i searched i need to update it through recovery mode. But again when im doing recovery mode
the "power off ＋ vol up or down" it didnt work. Its only a" power off and a power on process". The same with the apps i downloaded for reboot recovery.And about
(NDR UTILS) it shows "unable to read XZDR.prop"...
I really dont know what to do its like my Root is useless
So please Help.

super su binary update

i have a yureka device and i recently rooted my device sucessfully but after updating super su it shows i have to update the binary. When i update it , the phone reboots and doesnot start up and shows the cyanogen logo. Kindly help in this matter.
Also i'm unable to install camera app like moto camera in my device despite the fact i have rooted my phone. i would like to replace the current version of camera app in my phone

Super slow wifi download speed. Help needed.

Ever since ive owned my 5x, downloading via wifi is slow, using Chrome, Talpatalk, Whats App, it downloads at abou 200kb
But if I download from the play store it goes to full speed of 1.3mb
If tried the following,
reset router
flashed latest radio from 19V
changed to 2.4ghz only in wifi settings.
turned bluetooth on.


Is there a setting that I might have missed?

Hi everyone , this might seem a little bit strange on a forum like this , but im having a big amount of doubts , i had my s7 edge for a couple of months and i bought it on the us , and I already installed some customs rooms ,(i was looking for better battery life ) bit i wanna instal other room that is "debloated" but the rom says its based on firmware G935FXXU1APF2 but my phone hasnt the same , it has "FXXU1APB4" so can i install this rom? or i have to install the firmware that its based on? while i was searching for the firmware to get more info i found this site that has it , and it says it was released for portugal , and i thought if i need to install the firmware it would matter to be one released in portugal? thnx

EDIT: Crap posted this on general not help/troubleshooting.

Basically I have no sound and rotation. Also wifi calling crashes and its kinda annoying.

I originated with zv9 rooted viper, and FlashMods 4.7 but started having power/overheating issues so I wanted to get to zvb root.
I flashed from zv9 rooted to zv8 rooted with the flash tool.
Then to zvb rooted using randrew87's method.
I installed xposed via flashfire v24.
At this point the device was alot faster with 2 core disabled compared to on zv9.
I proceeded to flash viper4android viz flashfire.
Yet it when I went to install the drivers it continued to fail because of a busybox error.
I reinstalled viper and busybox a number of times with no new results.
By this point I realized rotation and sound was not working.
Using flashfire I wiped system data hoping for results.
That was a mess.
I factory reset to get rid of most root apps/settings.
System UI randomly freezes. Still no sound or rotation.

Its basically a curved brick at this point.

I dont know if this is because of viper4android/busybox or the fact I went from zv9 to zv8 to zvb. (Meant to flash zv9 root then zvb root, but flashed the wrong img(not organized))

I have a backup of my system from before I went to zvb.
Though ive read that trying to downgrade on the zs996 is going to hard brick me.
Im going to read up on if doing this will keep me from going into download mode.

Input would be a blessing as I am currently down a daily driver, my only driver for that matter.
Anthing I can do to get my flex to a usable state or am I screwed?

Need help! Super soft Bricked stock phone. Tried many methods!

Hi all. So my stock opo somehow got bricked overnight while charging. It's completely stock and I have no idea why.

Status of my problem:
-Stuck on Android boot screen.
-Able to access fastboot.
-Can't access recovery mode
-No TRWP
-it's still locked
*USB debugging not enabled
-Cm11 33r I think...
-Installed android adb on device manager
But couldn't detect it on the list ("adb devices" cmd)
-Able to detect serial using fastboot device cmd tho.
-Tried universal adp, adb bootloader driver, Samsung adb driver, composite driver and it still won't detect it on list.
-Tried using another usb port.
-computer doesn't detect phone unless I go on fastboot or hold power+up volume for 10 sec (this shows QHUSB_BULK)
-Tried using msm9874downloadtool.exe, doesn't do anything even tho it's completed and it's green.
-Tried just flashing Cm11 33r images but it won't work cuz I'm locked.
-Tried unlocking but goes back to my other problem of device not being on the list.

Hard Brick LeTV x900! I need super help!!!

Hello people! The truth did not know where to put this but if it's wrong because there is no problem and relocated!
I have a x900 LeTV I bought several months ago! Two weeks ago you installed a beta version of android 6.0.1. and I was working fine few days and one night, suddenly he went out and caught no more! Hard has a brick because no load, does not light, does not enter or fasboot recovey mode, any PC with any version of Windows recognizes it and have been for days following guidelines to resuscitate through QPST.2.7.429.msi without but although follow the steps one by one PC with Windows 7 simply does not recognize me! I am in despair and can not think of anything else! Some genius of the community could help me? There is a guide for x800 that is very similar to x900, yet still do not achieve much !!!

Question about super user and app permissions after uninstalling it

i have rooted my phone and installed super user and give permission ALLOW to a specific app, now i just unistalled the superuser app and didnt unroot the phone

is this keep the app that i allowed in first place with rooted permision or should always keep the super user installed so that apps have the root acces

UMI Super issues - touchscreen and GPS

I am one of the loosers regarding this high-end phone and I wanted to share some experience with you guys here.

I was running (and also OTA updating) my UMI Super for around 2 weeks and except GPS and not a real good 3G connectivity all was good. GPS isn't just really working and it hops around most of the times. All fixes like Developer mode etc. applied and didn't work.
After 2 weeks now the touchscreen went crazy and one can't control the phone anymore. There is no fix and also doing a factory wipe or a fresh install of the firmware (even the oldest one) doesn't fix this issue >>> the UMI isn't usable anymore. Many people reporting the same in the UMI forums btw.

Got no response from their Support via Email and no fix or advice as well. Now my phone is dead and i regret this decision to have bought this device. Simply it isn't even worth a single USD (for me) and my recommendation is if you want to go with it just buy it from a trusted dealer who offers reliable money-back or replacement policies.

i have htc m8. it have super cid and s-off. therefor i can't update any system updates. pls tell how disable supercid?

Super Bricked OnePlus One

Hi all,
My one plus one bricked when updating to CM12s via OTA. Since then, I have tried everything, but I am stuck on the oneplus screen. I cannot get to recovery no matter what. Bootloader still works though
This is what I have tried
1. Flashed cm12s, cm11s via fastboot. Still didnt wake it up
2. Used the color OS+MSM8974 tool to flash color os, still stuck on the red oneplus logo
3. Used the color OS+MSM8974 tool to flash color os, then flashed cm11s, still stuck on the oneplus logo
4. Used the oneplus recovery tool, still stuck on the oneplus logo.

In all this scenarios, I cannot access recovery, I even flashed TWRP, and still cannot access recovery.
Bootloader is unlocked.

Hi Guys,

I've been reading reviews for a few days now and it is turning into a mud in my brain.

I was looking for a phone with at least HD resolution, with a decent camera to take a nice picture.

Could you guys make a suggestion based on the phones above, I think I narrowed it down to that area. I'm also open to alternatives if you can say why, because it is already a mess in my head to figure out why.
