One M9 Prime CE - gap between screen and frame

Hello :)

I have my HTC One M9 Prime CE for a week. I think it was a good choice, but I noticed one disturbing issue - small gap between screen and frame. This is picture of it:
i.imgur.com/CdmDflW.jpg (sorry for non-clickable link but I haven't 10 posts)

I hope it's clear enough.

There's not any other gaps. This one is very thin, but backlight is clearly visible between the edge of glass and metal frame (not visible if screen is even slightly pressed there). It's possible that dust particles will get between glass and display or will affect backlight? It would be annoying for me. I think that the whole display is bonded and it's not real problem, but I'm not sure.

Of course, my phone is under warranty, however I want to avoid repairs because of a lot of bad opinions.

Thanks for feedback in advance.

N910A motherboard in N910T frame?

If I have a repair guy put an AT&T MoBo in my T-Mobile phone (mine died), will I still have wifi calling, etc., after loading MM for T-Mobile?

I'm thinking no, but he asked if it would be OK.

Other downfalls? Would I even be able to Odin MM for TMO?

Redmi Note 4 will be the next flagship Xiaomi samples, metal frame and dual cameras

Dual cameras are becoming the trend design manufacturers smart phones and of course also no exception Xiaomi. More information for advanced phones that redmi upcoming Note 4 will have a metal frame and dual camera.
New images have been revealed also partly confirmed the authenticity of the information on, redmi Note 4 can be arranged 2 cameras with larger sensors in the longitudinal direction and LED flash in the middle, instead of horizontally like most camera phones now double.

Part designed as images, frames will be made of curved metal claws on each side at the back, volume up key phrases placed on the right side.

Of course can not be confirmed by leaked images have exactly the redmi Note 4 or not, but the probability is very high. Because if compared with previous redmi Note 3 both have similarities, only behind fingerprint sensor has been replaced by cameras. If accurate information, redmi Note 4 will have the home button integrated fingerprint sensor?

n910t board in n910a frame Xpost from n910 board

Ok, so I'm looking to get a Note 4 that is capable of being modded. My friend is offering to sell me her n910a, but from what I understand it's not very mod friendly. What I'm wondering is if it's possible to just swap in a n910t board into a n910a frame. The only reasion I'm thinking of doing this is because her phone is mint.
Now, before you just say no, I've done a bit of homework and found that all the parts I looked up (LCD, audio assembly, camera) seem to be cross compatible. This makes me think it should just drop right in.

Plastic frame of XP a GOOD thing!

I hear some people complaining about the frame of the XP being plastic. But I watched a video review and the reviewer (pro) said that Sony did that so to improve signal strength. They still made it look nice, so if doing that makes my calls' signal strength stronger, then I'm all for it! Ppl have to remember this IS a phone. lol

Tech21 Evo Frame Wallet + S6 Edge: MAGNETS = problem ?

Hello everyone,

I bought a very good case that protects the whole device nicely and it also protects it from drops (claimed from even 2 meters height). I'm overall pleased with the case but I'm concerned about 1 thing, magnets. This case shuts very tightly because it has 2 bars of magnets, 1 in the lid and one in the back of the case so they come in contact and shut the case tightly wrapping the whole phone. (I know this has been discussed already but this magnets seem stronger than the competition) As a result, when using this case the compass gets totally useless (magnetic sensor can't work, won't calibrate and always stays in maximum value). I also measured the magnetic fields with another device and yea, when I approach it close to either magnet bar it gets high too. I don't use the compass often but I'm concerned about permanent damage on the magnetic sensor or on anything else in future. since I'm planning to use this case forever.

Any idea? Thanks.

LG G3 Mid Frame replacement, now camera not recognized

Hello,

Firstly, I'm sorry If I didn't post this in the correct thread but I'm a big noob on forums.

I need your guys help, I had a broken screen and got a new mid frame ( being the easiest repair plus I had a few scratches so I decided to get the frame as well )

I got it all to the new frame and turned on the phone all fine and dandy ( screen working as intended ), but I found the rear camera not being recognized , neither the flash. When I used the camera app (or any other app alike, instagram, snapchat or camera FV-5) the switch camera button just wouldn't be there. I went to the quick toggles to check the flashlight and it's missing ( i tried putting it back on and it just goes away )

So i got the phone opened and checked the connections and it seems all fine, the camera doesn't show any damage , nor the contacts from the flash and buttons ( buttons work fine btw).

I'm running CM 13, maybe it's the rom causing issues? (currently downloading newer version in hopes it will recognize the camera)

Can you guys help me out?
