Unlocking More Bands?

Hey!

From what I've read online it looks like all S7 Edges are built identically which means that the bands must be controlled by software. Are there any firmwares, patches, or tricks that enable other bands? I have a Verizon S7 Edge on T-Mobile so I'm mainly looking to unlock band 12. I saw this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/veri...izon-t3415145/ but im not sure if that will unlock the bands or not. VoLTE and WiFi-Calling would be a plus.

opening bands for 4glte?

I'm curious on the possibility of opening up the bands for service providers. I got the l31 model and sadly I didnt do my research and att/tmobile 4g isnt an option with this model. Ive read where other phones have had bands opened up for use. I love this phone and will be rooting as soon as i wait 14 days and try again to get my unlock code.

AWS Bands?

I know this phone doesn't actually support AWS, but I know some older samsung galaxy devices also did not support AWS.

Is there any way to get this to support AWS?

Enabling more LTE bands on G935F (Exynos)

Hello folks! Is it possible to somehow modify the firmware on the G935F to enable LTE band 30? I know that the G935W8 has LTE band 30. I assume that the G935F and G935W8 have identical hardware because they are both Exynos variants. Shouldn't that mean a software mod could enable the same thing for the G935F? Thanks!

Help L24 bands

Hello, is it possible to change bands on the L24? I am living in Spain right now and at the moment the phone does not have all bands needed. I found a guide to include more bands on any android but could not find the way to enter the usb config so I can use QPST program.

Just curious because in all my excitement I failed to realize that the Oneplus 3 supported Verizons band 13 :(

Selecting specific network bands in redmi note 3?

We have option to choose network modes in MIUI and other custom ROM's but there is no option to choose specific Network Band .
I have tried dialing code *#*#4636#*#* but in "set preferred network type" under phone information, there is no option to choose network band like specific LTE bands (TDD LTE or FDD LTE ) .

If anyone knows how to select specific network bands . Please do help.

How to add LTE bands

I am new here,so please forgive me if i am asking something that can't be done.
I am using my HTC one m7 at&t version in Albania. Everything fine until i tried to connect to 4G.
I learned that the carriers here use LTE band 12,which my phone doesn't have.
I was wondering if i can add it,since i saw in another thread somebody did it in a Note 3.
I tried to do it on my phone,but cant get to usb diag mode,because the code ##3424# doesn't work.
Can't get to usb settings ,at storage app in the top right corner,the three dots are not there any more.
I have rooted and s-off my phone. Using now Artmod v 10.0 based on android 5.0.2,HTC sense 7 with ClockWorkMod .
Any help will be much appreciated.

Is there any different in 3 OP3 models other than bands?

I found out there're 3 different models here.

• North America model


• Europe / Asia model


• China model

Since we are close to China, I think I'm getting a China model. What's bugging me is I don't know if custom ROMs posted in OP3 Android Development sections will compatible with China model. I came from a device which have 14 different models with single-dual sim & regional mixed it's all so confusing that I ended up flashing incompatible ROMs several times. Can anyone help me confirm that please?

Has anyone successfully unlocked bands on the Chinese 1+2?

I mistakenly bought a Chinese 1+2, as a result I don't get LTE or HSPA+, and barely have any HSPA service in Canada. I've read guides for the OnePlus one but they seem device specific. Has anyone successfully unlocked either HSPA+ or LTE bands for north America on a Chinese model?

Note 3 Verizon unlocked for India LTE bands

Hi, I am living in India and using Samsung Note 3 Verizon SM-N900V, Android 5.0. Earlier carrier was Reliance CDMA and now carrier is Reliance GSM. I am unable to use Reliance LTE bands 3, 5 & 40 as Note 3 is not enabled for Indian LTE bands. Please suggest how can I unlock it for LTE bands 3, 5 & 40

metal bands catching hair on wrist grr

which is nice, and the black looks cool against the chrome colored watch body...but damn is it annoying when there's some slight shifting and the watch band catches and pulls the hair on my wrist! anyone else deal with this daily? not sure if i wanna keep the band because of this, but i'm SO bored of the stock brown leather band that came with it!

OnePlus 3 - Sprint 3G and Service Bands

Here one person was able to enable band 20 on a OnePlus One. I was wondering if it is at all possible to enable bands 10 or 1 for Sprint 3G. Or better yet bands 25, 26, 41.

I was also wondering, if I were to attempt this is there a risk of ruining the phone?

Adding Unsupported network bands via headphone jack

As the tittle says, is it possible to add an antenna in the headphone jack that will allow all bands to be supported. Just like you can attach an infrared sensor and nfc smart pay chip via headphone jack. This would be really helpful as many bands are not supported by overseas phones.
