Flashing Tutorial using Flashtool on Xperia m5?

Can anyone upload a video showing tutorial using flashtool to flash or update firmware? Or tell the proper steps? I heard we have to FSC when flashing or it hard bricks the device. When it asks for FSC? Since there is no sony service center here, i am afraid of hard bricking the device :(

how to rum pokemon go with low spec devices (1gb ram) tutorial

I have 2 phones, Xperia T running 5.1.1 and an Xperia M running aosp 6.0.1 with nui kernel.
before doing this I could run it on the but was really laggy and the game was unplayable on the T.

Things you will need;
-root
-gl tools

Now you need to install gltools and install the 2nd driver.( on the play store but its paid, no warez here so no links)
Now open gl tools and find pokemon go.
Check force 16 bit rendering and optimise glsl shaders. Next set render resolution to 0.5 (doesn't effect a whole load but helped with the Ts 720 screen, probably not needed for lower res) and set downscale textures to 0.5. That's it done!
After doing this, the game runs butter smooth on my T and runs somewhat smoother on my M. This is all because the app uses less ram (was hitting nearly 600mb ram at most)

Let me know if it helped ;)

[Tutorial] Switch to last Stock Rom (with gaps) from a Retailer Rom

Dear All,

Please find my first tutorial for this phone that I received today.
I took information from different site and from discussion of this forum.
The goal is to help new user and get them quicker to the result.
The idea is no to root in order to keep OTA update from leeco
I will explain how to :
  • Install last stock rom (in order to get future OTA update)

  • Install Google play store and others google apps

  • Make google contacts appears in "phone" menu

  • Install Morelocale 2 to switch in other languages than English

So Let's begin,
  • Install last stock rom (in order to get future OTA update)

First of all, download here the last rom :
http://bbs.le.com//zt/eui/le_max2.html
While create a leeco account following these instructions :
http://in.lemall.com/in/help/help-pid-5-id-375.html
You might find your activation link into your spams.
When the download is finished, rename the file in update.zip
Put it at the root of the phone
shut down the phone.
press the power button + volume up key to enter the upgrade interface, according to the following specific operating procedures.
Select "Use update.zip Update System" -> "Update" and "clear cache", reboot into the system
  • Install Google play store and others google apps

Google play is avalaible form the LeStore, you need to download from there. Type google in the search bar of leStore and you will find it :
Attachment 3810024
After you have google play, you can install gmail, calender, maps, youtube...
  • Make google contacts appears in "phone" menu

I had the same issue than others, with the google contact inside the phone.
To make work, download and install this APK :
http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-...-apk-download/
After that, go to settings, App management, look for "Google contacts Sync", Permissions, and "tick" Contacts
Now it should work.
  • Install Morelocale 2 to switch in other languages than English

If you want other language than English, you can download morelocale from play store.
To make it your without root :
switch into developper mode :
settings, about the phone, click severals time on build number
Install Adb drivers on your computer from there : http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2317790
connect your phone in usb debug mode.
into the command line C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot\ send this adb shell pm grant jp.co.c_lis.ccl.morelocale android.permission.CHANGE_CONFIGURATION
You will be able to change to you language.
  • Tips

If you need to read some chinese, use Google translate app from your previous phone, you can take picture to translate some chinese.

I hope it will help some guys.

[Tutorial] How to flash latest Nokia X stock ROM without Nokia utilities

Hello! In this tutorial I'll show you how to flash latest stock ROM to your Android-based Nokia smartphone WITHOUT Nokia Data Package Manager.

You'll need:
  • computer with ANY operating system and properly installed ADB and fastboot

  • working Internet connection

  • USB cable

  • smartphone ;)

Let's go!
  1. Remove the back plate of your Nokia smartphone.
    Nokia X without back plate

  2. On sticker you'll see CODE, which identifies your smartphone's model and distribution region. Note it, because you'll need it for downloading ROM. For mine NX it's 059T9D8, which means my telephone is from Polish distribution. If curious, you can check it here.

  3. Go to http://cellomania.com/ffu/. Type your product code and press "OK" button. Webpage will refresh and it will be slowly filled with all files available for your device.

  4. Download all files you'll need to restoring original system. Their names are ending with *.img extension. For full restoration of stock ROM you'll need files for these partitions:

    Code:

boot, system, variant, persist, preload, recovery

  5. Connect your smartphone to computer, launch your favourite shell/terminal and reboot phone to recovery:

    Code:

    adb reboot bootloader

  6. Go to directory where you downloaded ROM images and use fastboot to flash ROMs, for example:

    Code:

    fastboot -i 0×0421 flash system RM980_1.2.4.1_system.img

  7. Erase userdata and cache:

    Code:

    fastboot -i 0×0421 erase userdata

    Code:

    fastboot -i 0×0421 erase cache

  8. After successfully flashing of ROMs reboot your phone with this command:

    Code:

    fastboot -i 0×0421 reboot

That's all! Don't forget to press "Thanks!" button if this tutorial helped you. :highfive:
