Lg g3 bootloop finally got fixed !

:) found a very simple yet damn effective way to get out of numbing LG G3 D855 bootlooping loops ! but guys in the process i seem to have forgotten a few steps...shi* ! but dont worry yet. it should come right up....its there. just let me freshen up before tracing back those vital moves that i reluctantly made on(lets see whether it works fine and if not...? mode !)......and voila...it worked magic...! what i now regret is the screen rec. had i been hit with the idea even before getting in there in the first place !

Finally got my DRK issue fixed

As some of you know, my device got severely jacked up and wouldn't boot. I flashed a bogus .tar from a member that got banned and his links removed. I tried everything under the sun. Nothing worked. I ended up pay to a guy in Vietnam that fixed it via remote through Teamviewer. If anybody needs the DRK fix his Skype name is shomesconan. It took him about 30 minutes. Now my device is back to normal. Thank God. I bought the HTC 10 as a replacement and it totally sucks in comparison. I'm so glad to be back on Samsung.

Once again, if you need help with a DRK issue, hit up shomesconan on Skype. He is pretty awesome to say the least. Samsung couldn't even fix my phone. I sent it to them and they sent it right back saying they could not fix it. Lol Why not? That is what I wanna know. Pretty sure Samsung has the wrong guys working for them.

I'm so glad to be back here!

(Bootloader Unlock) Finally.... GX8 and several others

I used this to bootloader unlock several different Huawei devices, including the Honor 5x, GX8 and a couple others.

If you've tried to bootloader unlock your GX8 anytime in the past months, you know it always says the "server is busy" and you cannot do the official bootloader unlock, that is, until Now!

First, let me give a shout out to RootJunky, his video is imperative in watching to make sure you enter all the information in the correct spot, as it won't initially be in the English language on the page. It can be translated however once you get to the page where you enter your device information.

1st. Install the Huawei drivers

2. Install ADB drivers and make sure your phone has been given ADB access on your screen (After you install the drivers, open a command window and type adb devices with your phone plugged into your computer, then check the box and you're good to go. If you don't have ADB setup correctly just ask, surely someone or myself will guide you through it.

On this page, just right click if you're using google chrome and select translate to english and you can see where everything goes. Also, watch the video as it helps tremendously. Don't mind that his video is for the P8 lite, as it's exact same process.

Finally got Root with wifi calling!

Last week I took the plung and rooted my phone. I was on PD8 and followed that video I was seeing around then I went and installed xposed along with my favorite apps for xposed. Didn't realized it until today that wifi calling was a no go and then I saw others were having problems. I ended up doing a factory wipe. Then Using the modified Odin I installed PG1 using the BL, AP, CP, and CSC. I tried once without the CSC but I didn't even have an option for wifi or voice of LTE. So then I tried using all 4 files. From there I ended up using the zip floating around on XDA that says it's for all S7s with QC chips. follow the readme instructions and so far I've still got wifi calling. Wifi calling was the one deal breaker for me and I'm so glad to see it's working now. Before I install Xposed this time I will make a backup with Flashify just in case.

Finally left the LG club

Hey guys,

I've moved over to the one plus two.

Things I will miss are;

Losing the manual camera mode (opt's isn't as in depth as the g4's)

Easy access back buttons

Obviously battery replacement and sd card (although the 64gb opt should be OK)

Reason I swapped over are;

The annoying screen retention, it got worse and worse over time and was always there, especially the pink glow around the corners of the screen.

The screen response wasn't all that great but still wasn't the main issue.

LOCKED bootloader.... I waited and waited and have finally ran out of patients to wait... this was the deal breaker for me, besides I had one of the original models which was a bootloop ticking time bomb.

Why are your guys opinions? I really like the opt so far, but i am missing some small bits, NFC, IR blaster and fast charge but they're only toys I suppose.

Finally we can have 4G band 20 ( 800 mhz) !

As you know, xiaomi has released a new version of redmi note 3 pro for taiwan market, and it support the 4g band 20 ( 800mhz ), i got the idea to flash only modem, and test if i can get the band. And it's work !

I'm on MIUI V8 6.6.30 EU ( android 5.1.1 ) and i get the modem file from miui_HMNote3GlobalPro_V7.3.9.0 the special edition ported by AndersonAragao :

But i guess that will work with original special edition modem.

HOW TO INSTALL :

Download ROM

Extract it and get NON-HLOS.bin file from firmware-update folder

Flash it with fastboot ( unlock bootloader requirt ) : fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin, and Voila !

Autobrightness bug finally fixed!

FYI, latest tmo update G925TUVU4EPF1 finally fixed the stupid autobrightness bug. Phone now keeps the brightness setting when autobrightness is disabled. [emoji1]

DIAG Mode Finally Discovered

I have finally figured out how to enable DIAG Mode on the Verizon LG G3!
1. Enable USB Debugging (Google how to, if you don't know already)
2. Open Dialer App
3. Dial ##PROGRAM985 and Call it (Press SEND)
4. Type 000000 as Service Code
5. Go to Port check Test
6. Turn Port check Test ON (Set it to ENABLED)
7. Plug your VERIZON LG G3 into a USB Port on your PC
8. Pull your Notification Bar down and tap USB connected
9. Change the setting to Media Sync (MTP)
10. Choose any Program (APP) to do as you wish with your G3 and PROFIT!!!

Before doing the Port check Test enable method, the phone WOULD be seen by DFS and CDMA Workshop but, you could not do any programming or even send the SPC/MSL code! Now you can! Take that VERIZON.

Unlocked carrier free s7 & s7 edge finally...

So Samsung has decided to release unlocked version of the s7 & S7 edge the works on all carries in the U.S. I wonder if the bootloader is locked?????

Could anyone please explain, I don't know much about Andorid's technical stuff :p, Just have knowledge to flash ROMs and follow the rules, guided by Developers. :laugh:
