stop MXQ Pro Android 5.1.1 from going to sleep

Trying to run a google slide show on through a browser on a MXQ Pro and it keeps going to sleep after a few hours.
I have tried using 2 different apps "stay awake v1.1" and "stay alive v1.9.5.1", to keep the screen on all the time.
trying to use google slide show so i can just update my info in one place and refresh webpage in browser and it will be updated on my 3 MXQ units and will not have to copy and paste files and rebuild slideshows with an app.
anyone have any suggestions that I may try

HTC10 Won't go to sleep

Guys,

I'm frustrated due to the fact that my phone wont go to sleep no matter what I try. It stays awake be 24 hours a day. Any help/advice is appreciated.

I tried to figure out what's wrong using the Wakelock Detector Lite which pointed to too many wake locks from gapps such as Google App, Gmail abd Android Pay. I removed android pay without any noticeable difference in performance.

These other two I can't really get rid off. I'm attaching a screenshot of my power history and wake lock detector. Hoping that someone will be able to help me here.

Thanks
Regards
fS

Laptop goes to sleep when connected to TV

I have the following problem.

I have installed Remix OS on my laptop HP Elitebook 8440p - Intel i5 and Intel HD
I do use the original HP Docking station where I connect my laptop through HDMI.
This set up works just great with Windows 7 which I control it using my Microsoft all-in-one media keyboard

I have installed Remix OS and the laptop goes to sleep when I press any key on the keyboard.
I found out that if I open the laptop and use its keyboard and touchpad Remix OS works just great.

If I connect it to my TV it shows the desktop but It goes to sleep immediately. The TV shows "no signal"

If I press the power button it resumes for a few seconds but goes to sleep immediately

Any ideas?

Deep sleep problem after root on MM, does the patch still work? (SM-G920F)

Hi guys,

So, i want to do a simple task, root my phone and enjoy, but no, that is not possible because Android OS jumps to 30% of battery usage and drains my battery very quickly.

I know that there is a deep sleep patch but does it work on marshmallow? I can't seem to find answer anywhere. Also, i'm a simple kind of user and i don't need custom kernels etc. and i say this because i know that many kernels have the fix integrated but all the popular kernels are EOL so i'd like to stay stock...

Is there a way just to simply root the phone with cf autoroot and not to mess up with kernels etc.? I remember something about build.prop flag in one line that re enables the deep sleep, but also, i cannot find that answer anymore.

Thanks in front...

Any help is appreciated.

make the device go sleep when watch not on hand ???

I have the 1st gen Watch Urbane. I had a Pebble time before that. One cool function it had was that, if the watch was idle for more than 30 mins (which basically means when you are not wearing it) it would go to sleep mode and disconnect itself from the phone. It would save a good deal of battery power both on the phone and the watch. Who needs watch notification when not wearing it?
Is it possible to achieve that in LG Urbane, or in general Android wear devices?

Phone don't go to deep sleep after recharging

I have rooted my device using CF-Autoroot. It works OK from then and even goes to deep sleep normally, but when I charge my phone for a long time, I noticed after unplugging that it does not go to deep sleep at all till I restart it.
After that it goes to deep sleep mode again but once I recharge it back the same problem occurs.
My variant is N920CD

Any advice?
Thanks.

Deep sleep battery percentage drop?

Hey everyone,

I currently have 6.0.1 installed on my XT1575. I've had previous versions of android such as 6.0 and different ports of 6.0.1. With all of these, when the phone is in deep sleep, I lose about 8-12% of battery life. Is this common for everyone? I've followed many guides to improve battery life that encompass using greenify, amplify, etc. I've currently got all those running to help with the battery. However, I still get this bad drainage of battery when I go to sleep. I've turned off all location options, wifi, wifi scanning, etc. When I check BBS, there are alarming wakelocks at all. The phone seems to be asleep, yet, it drains battery. Coming from an LG G2, I'm used to the phone only using 1-2% of battery while it is asleep.

What are you guys experiencing? And have you tried anything to improve this?

Will I get a deep sleep issue if I'm on pure stock firmware?

Will I get a deep sleep issue if I'm on pure stock firmware? I have the N920I and its currently on Dr. ketan's ROM. I prefer the full stock experience and I'm unsure if with Marshmallow there is still the deep sleep issue. Cause many applications I use do not work cause I'm on custom firmware/rooted.

Thanks.

XT1064 Android 6.0 will not go into deep sleep, CPU stuck awake

I have a Moto G 2014 (XT1064) running Android 6.0 that will not go into deep sleep. I could see that the CPU was never going into the deep sleep state even when the phone was not being used and no user apps were actively running in the background. This is causing abysmal battery life as expected. The phone was updated to Android 6.0 via regular OTA updates. I haven't flashed any third party ROMs onto it at all since I bought it.

The first thing I did to investigate was to unlock the bootloader (it was still locked since purchase prior to this) so that I could obtain root access to see what was going on. This also had the additional affect of wiping the phone to stock Andoird 6.0, which I had hoped would maybe solve the problem but it did not.

My first thought was that it was a user app that was holding a wakelock keeping the phone awake. I looked at the user and kernel wakelock counts via BetterBatteryStats and WakeLockDetector, but from what I can tell it is not any user app that is holding a wakelock at all. Instead it must be some kernel level app keeping the CPU awake, but I can't determine what it is. There isn't any single entry in the wakelock list that sticks out as the culprit.

I have done some other investigative tests such as turning WiFi off while the phone sits unused overnight. This did not have any effect as the phone still remained awake the whole time. I also repeated this test with the phone in airplane mode (WiFi + cellular radios off) and again it had no affect. From this I could only conclude that it was not the wireless radios that were keeping the phone awake. The wakelock counts also didn't show any evidence that WiFi, cellular or GPS were holding wakelocks.

Here are two screenshots I took of the BetterBatteryStats and WakeLockDetector apps showing the highest count kernel wakelocks over a roughly 17 hour period:
(I'd link them in properly but I am prevented from posting outside links on this forum until I have 10 cumulative posts...)
i.imgur.com/nPAY3S6.png
i.imgur.com/5VfgFv1.png

You can see that the phone has been awake 96% of the time during this period, and that the highest count kernel wakelocks are from "event8-1877", "event9-1877", "qpnp_soc_wake" and "qpnp-vadc-e4a28400". I could not find any information as to what these entries mean or what they're related to. Whatever they are, they appear to have abnormally large wakelock counts which leads me to believe that they are related to this problem. The other thing that puzzles me is that the total time for the top four entries in that list only sum to about 2 hours, yet the phone has been awake for almost 17 hours within the same period.

If anyone has any idea about this I'd appreciate the help. I may be completely wrong about the root cause here but I'm running out of ways to debug this.

Custom ROM no root but deep sleep fix

Hi, does anyone know of a ROM that allows you to implement the deep sleep fix but also isn't rooted? I'm on Dr Ketan ROM (which is fantastic by the way) but temp unroot still does allow me to use FOXTEL GO app.
