Wait. So I bought a phone i can't root?

I use Automagic to automate a lot of stuff in my phone, and it uses root for some of that... and then there's all those Xposed addons i like..

This thing just updated last night to LS770Zv9...

am i going to be stuck without root? I wanted to mess with some automation and even try that add-on for two non-google apps at once...

Need help, MiFlash error: wait port ready to use.

I want to flash the rom via fastboot MiFlash. I use -fastboot oem unlock for edl-the bootloader because previously flash rom miui8 fastboot. But everytime I use this command, flash rom with MiFlash always fail with error 'wait port ready to use 9'

Please and very awaited response as well as help here's guru 🙏

Upgrade to OP3 now or wait for the next nexus?

Im in sort of a mid life crisis. I currently own a Nexus 6 but I want a more beefy phone. The N6 is great and all but its starting to lag, battery is degrading, and the front camera sucks. I really like the nexus line and I have never owned a OP device. From the rumors im seeing the next nexus should be pretty damn good, so to all of you who own the OP3, are you happy with the purchase? Would you recommend buying it or should I just wait? Thanks!
