How do you extract pictures in android?

I have a phone with a broken screen that I need MMS pictures from is there anywhere on the android software these are stored and can be extracted?

the phone in question is a android 5 moto e 2nd gen.

How to extract the boot.img from stock rom?

With the G930U firmware, how/would it be possible to extract the boot.img from the MD5?

So when flashing the EngBoot for root, can re-flash the stock one instead of reinstalling the entire firmware again.

extract files from firmware

Hi
I downloaded 0PGZIMG_A50ML_DTUL_L50_DESIRE_SENSE70_HTC_Europe_1 .20.401.1_Radio_1514P2.P02.0501.0506_release_45373 0_combined_signed.zip
when i try to extract it with winrar , i only get 3 files
if i try to open with 7zip it shows 24 files
still missing system.img and some other files

is there any special program to extract all files from this firmware

Possible to extract files from recovery mode backup?

I've been using a Cubot S208 for a while and it's been a great phone.
It was rooted using kingoroot. A few days before the phone failed I did a full backup via recovery mode.
Obviously the file this created is of no use for my replacement phone, but if possible I'd like to open the .backup file and extract some files from it.

Is this possible?
