I recently bought a micro SD card and formatted it on the S7 edge. The card does not have write protection as I can write and delete on the computer, but not on the device itself. For some reason, My Files (Samsung's built-in file manager) cannot write, but third-party file managers can write. The camera app cannot save to the micro SD card either.

[Q] Can't delete /system files
I can't seem to edit any files in /system (the one I particularly want to edit is in the UI sound). Is anyone able to help me out?
I'm running Chroma (July 7th update) with Elite Kernel.

Bricked Note5. In TWRP Recovery 3.0. Need to delete folder in /system/app. Error:1
[SOLVED] - Apparently, I lost the ability to *read* also. When I went into TWRP, I must have clicked the "keep the system read-only" button. That would prevent me from deleting files/folders. I hereby select one card from the Smacktard pile.
Evening all,
Sprint Note 5, Rooted.
Tried to manually make an application a "System App". This is what happens when you give a monkey the *tools* but not the *brains*. I'm plenty technical, but I've not done this before.
I installed an app, then went into the data\apps directory and copied the entire application's folder into \system\app.
When I rebooted, the phone gets stuck on the Sprint LTE screen.
When I boot into TWRP, and into Advanced / File Manager, then go into the offending directory, I get the following:
Any assistance you could provide would be MUCH appreciated. I'm bricked and cannot work until I get my phone back.
Thanks!
Pete

Reinstalling OS after accidental delete
While attempting to install 6.0.1 on my SM-T705 I accidentally deleted the OS leaving me with the black screen of death (Samsung Tablet S logo and powered by Android). As I have only recently moved to Android and am still learning the ropes so any idiot-proof instructions to resurrect my tablet would be appreciated.
Thanks.

How to delete Оther files from "free to use" phone memory?
I noticed a very troublesome problem in Android. First to say that my phone is Galaxy S6 (6.0.1), but the problem is the same for all devices I'm sure.
It's about memory usage, and the problem is that every time when you upload larger files to your phone they occupy almost double space, becouse filling so called by the built-in Smart Manager "Other" files.
This "Оther" takes a significant area of free user memory and unfortunately the system is not possible to trace where and what are these files.
Does someone know where this mystical "Оther" files are stored, because I want to delete them?
