Has Quick Charge been disabled in newest firmware \ hardware issue?

My G5 H850 died after 3 months. I just got it back and they replaced the mainboard and battery under warranty. Now it wont quick charge with my original LG charger and cable OR my Anker Quick Charge 3 charger. It never says "Quick Charging", it was fine before. I have voltage \ current monitors connected to all my chargers, I think it used to get up to 7v @ 1.5A on my Anker QC3, now it's 5v @ 1A or less! I removed the voltage \ current monitors to see if they were affecting the charge rate but it still never Quick Charges.
Have they disabled it because of hardware issues?

Has root been achieved by anyone yet?

So. I'm sure everyone here is annoyed of this question. But I can't get a clear answer.

Has root been achieved yet on the AT&T Model?

It's obvious the bootloader isn't going to be unlocked anytime soon. But that doesn't necessarily mean we can't get root..

I've heard somewhere that Kingoroot works but I'm not sure on what version of android and if it actually does work.

I don't mind if I have to downgrade to like 4.4.4 or something, as long as I get root.

PCSX2 on Linux on the Shield. Has this been done?

I'm probably better off testing this myself, but I just needed to ask. Got the idea after seeing the razer edge pro run PCSX2 at full speed. Been thinking of rooting to install Linuxonandroid and then trying to run PCSX2 on that but I think the Shield Tablet might not have enough vram to run it full speed. It's kind of a stretch, so i was also wondering if i managed to install Linux natively on something more powerful like Tegra X1 Shield TV might do the trick. I'm posting this on the Shield Tablet forum because that's what I have to work with for now so a solution for this would be most appreciated, but any insight on running a PS2 emulator properly on an originally-Android device would be greatly appreciated.

How to detect when my Activity has been obscured?

Hi,
I would like to be able to detect if my Activity has been obscured by, say, a system alert or some other overlay (for example the power menu when I long press on the power button, or the volume control Toast), or some malware that detects the launch of my Activity. I noticed that the foreground app in this case would still be my app, so I can't simply base it on what the foreground app is. I also notice that onPause() isn't called when my Activity is obscured, so I can't put any logic in onPause() either. Even if I can though, I would then have to differentiate between a system alert/overlay and the user pressing the back/home button.

Are there any other ways for me to accomplish this?

[Q] Has anyone been successful using a 256GB SDCard on an SM-P900?

Just wondering if anyone has tried yet? I've been using a Samsung EVO 128GB for over a year without problem, hoping that a 256GB version might work as well.
