GPS Antenna issue?

So I have an issue with my S5's GPS... I now suspect it is due to the antenna however would like some feedback and assistance.

I downloaded the "GPS Status" app to try and trobuleshoot a bit. When I open the app with my location on and set to any of the 3 accuracies (GPS only, Power Saving, High Accuracy) and very quickly it manages to find satellites, at the moment 26 of them.
However it is unable to connect / fix to any of them, so it is displaying 0/26.

So since it is finding the satellites but unable to fix/ connect to them I am hoping that my GPS chip is still fine but the antenna is the issue - what do you think?

If you think it is the antenna, how can I go about fixing it? Is there somewhere I can open up the phone and resit a ribbon or connector or anything of that sort? If so please can you assist me with how to go about doing this.

Use car's GPS antenna with Android head unit

Hi.
My Skoda Superb has navigation from factory, including GPS antenna on the roof. Does anyone know if this antenna will work with an Android head unit (Joying)? I need an adapter from FAKRA to SMA to physically connect it, but I don't know if the antenna would be compatible with regards to voltage, impedance etc.

X performance vs. Xperia X signal strength antenna

I just received the Xperia X (usa version). When I go into a specific building that has bad reception my Xperia Z5 always was able to work fine and get internet. The Xperia X won't receive calls and the internet just hangs. Does the X Performance have a better signal strength and antenna or is this just an anomaly of the Xperia X?
