oukitel u8 Rom

Hi, i have an Oukitel U8, a chinese phone launched last year, and currently it runs Android 5.1. I would like to know if somenone knows if there are costumized roms for this phone, like cyanogen mod that runs android 6.0, i have googled it but i haven´t find anything, i would apreciate some help.
I would like to know if you know how to overclock this, just because the CPU is limited at 988Mhz per core. (quad-core)

Oukitel K10000 radio baseband updates available?

The Oukitel K10000 uses the Mediatech MT6537P chipset.

For 3g connectivity it only accesses the frequencies: WCDMA 1900/2100MHz

Is there a way to get a new radio firmware that fully unlocks the frequencies for 3g?

I saw another phone with the MT6537P that had 850 and 1900 frequencies for 3g but I cannot find it now that I want to link to it.

My father-in-law has the k10000 on AT&T right now and only gets 2g on the edge network, but I heard that AT&T is dropping 2g support so I want to future proof his phone by enabling 3g on it.

Sorry im newb on this thing.So i dont really like the custom rom which was coming with phone,i would like to change it, do i really need root ?because this custom rom eats a lot battery and sometimes slow down the phone. please suggest me some things to do,which rom can i use .
