The Oukitel K10000 uses the Mediatech MT6537P chipset.
For 3g connectivity it only accesses the frequencies: WCDMA 1900/2100MHz
Is there a way to get a new radio firmware that fully unlocks the frequencies for 3g?
I saw another phone with the MT6537P that had 850 and 1900 frequencies for 3g but I cannot find it now that I want to link to it.
Edit : found it http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&i...2_huawei_titan
I saw a thread where this was done for the THL W8 Beyond with the MTK6589T chipset.

My father-in-law has the k10000 on AT&T right now and only gets 2g on the edge network, but I heard that AT&T is dropping 2g support so I want to future proof his phone by enabling 3g on it.
