Samsung GT i9505 Boot loop

Hello,

trying to help a pal bring his phone back to life.

Used the latest version of odin to flash an official rom. Odin showed that it had passed and flung up no errors. Boot loop remained.

Eventually tracked down the correct carrier via sammobile and downloading it.

If this doesn't work then I am out of idea's.

Anything else I could do to fix it or could it be hardware?

S7E port for i9505

Can someone contact the developer? I think its great if its a real MM Rom for our i9505 :good:

S4 i9505 Touchscreen not working

Hi guys!
Yesterday i flashed crdroid android 6.0 rom on my s4 using cwm recovery. I rebooted my phone and my touchscreen was not working. Since then i tried alot of things such as removing the battery and pressing the power button for 1 minute and flashing other roms.I tried roms with android 5.0.1 , 5.1.1 , and 6.0.1 but my touchscreen is still completely not working.All the buttons are working perfectly and i can acces download mode and recovery but i cant flash a stock rom with odin 3.07 and 3.09 it just keeps failing.Anything i can do to fix my touchscreen?

s4 I9505 locked bootloader

I have a s4 i9505 that i rooted, installed custom recovery, and installed the most recent cyanogen mod 12.1 snapshot (cm-12.1-20151117-SNAPSHOT-YOG7DAO1JN-jfltexx.zip )

everything installed perfectly and works fine, except for the GPS, i have read up that restoring to a stock rom and getting a lock with GPS, then flashing cyanogen mod while it has a lock via GPS will fix the problem, but i am unable to downgrade to a stock rom as the android version i have flashed is 5.1.1, and the most recent stock rom is 5.0.1, i have tried to flash with odin and i get an error saying "fail(auth)"

my phone says "write protection: enabled" in download mode and i have read that this means the bootloader is locked, so i can only downgrade if i unlock the bootloader.

does anyone have any ideas on how to do this? i have tried using adb and fastboot but my device does not support fastboot, it only has recovery/download

HELP REQUIRED to choose a ROM for Galaxy S4 i9505 android 4.3 version~~

Hi guys, Newbie to forum and rooting here! I own a Galaxy S4 i9505 android version 4.3 and want it to upgrade to a higher, better and stable version. I've been doing a lot of research and found that the latest 6.0.1 gives issues with wifi on s4! I always wanted to root my phone but never did but since pokemon go doesn't run on 4.3 I'm glad that I'm forced to root it :D! So, which is the best ROM and android version that I should upgrade my phone to that'll not show any bugs or issues! I don't care if the android version's not latest..I own only one phone! Just want to run pokemon go and exploit some features that rooting will provide! Thanks for help~ :)

Every Marshmallow ROM on the I9505 has issues connecting to mobile internet.

It seems that I can't get any mobile internet connection whatsoever on any Marshmallow ROM.
I have tried different roms, I've tried over 20 baseband versions (modems) to no avail. I honestly have no idea what to do anymore and can't seem to find any fix to this.
If anyone has ANY idea and thinks that can aid me anyhow, it would be of great help, thanks !

What is wrong with my i9505?

What i have done here is installed a custom ROM via twrp and upon reboot to system, i get this (see attachment). Constant bootloops after the weird pixelation.
Installing stock ROM via Odin yields a bootloop on initial boot.
Tried stock recovery and wipe data (success), wipe cache partition (reboot).

Something must be broken somewhere. Can anyone point me in the right direction for a fix?

My phone can access recovery (twrp) and can access download mode.

[Q] I9505 hard bricked QHSUSB_DLOAD

Hello i'v got a free s4 which was not working. I'v connected it with pc and got QHSUSB_DLOAD detected installed drivers and now i can see the device using QPST. Is there anyway that i can unbrick this without JTAG? I saw the thread which can solve the problems but its old and the links are broken.. Any ideas? Thanks for your help...

Stock I9505 (rom) with 6.0.x?

Does anyone happen to know if a stock rom exists for the i9505 with 6.0.x? I'm not talking about CM13 or AOSP related roms, stock. I'm unsure if samsung ever got to update their firmware to 6.x version for the S4 devices.
