Hey guys, I've got THIS going on.
I have a Samsung Galaxy J5 (SM-J500FN) running on stock ROM (a HUN Telenor one BTW).
I have rooted it, and I have TWRP on it.
OEM unlocked. No triangles at boot.
Now, here comes the problem.
Whenever I try to copy, write or edit files in(to) my /system directory (and it's subdirectories) in any way, my phone freezes for 5-10 seconds, then IMMEDIATELY reboots. The file I tried to copy is there, with total 0 bytes.
Yep. Another empty file.
This started as I replaced my bootsamsung.qmg with one I freshly converted from a .zip. Freeze, restart. At the boot, instead of my new bootanimation, I've got the samsung logo screen stuck when the bootanimation was supposed to play.
The phone also freezes for approx. a half minute and the screen doesn't automatically fae out, but meanwhile the touch screen doesn't work.
I cannot edit ANYTHING. I have my /system mounted R/W, I have permissions OK, root is working.
TWRP also happens to be unable to write, and I tried adb.exe on a Windows 7 PC. Same, a 0 byte file.
Could someone tell me WHAT is going on, and how could I fix this?
Appreciating ANY kind of assistance.
