Release notes
Remix OS for PC version: 3.0.102
Release date: August 2, 2016
  • Fixed more Wi-Fi issues related to Broadcom wireless chipsets

  • Support hard disk partition mount allows you to access other files and folders

  • Support for future updates via OTA

  • Added feature where recent apps will be shown on the top line of apps in the App Drawer

  • Added “App Store” to Remix OS

I updated my Remix OS hdd installation today and recognized that all external (read: non Remix OS) partitions got automounted. I now lots of people asked for easy access to their windows partitions from within Remix OS, but I would prefer to keep things seperated.

Is it possible to disable the "access to other files and folders" in general or at least to stop automounting those partitions?

Thanks in advance
Martin

External Hard Disk support

I'd like to know if theres any way to support mounting external hard drives to the 1+X
I have a WD passport 1TB
The 1+1 supports it very nicely and since this phone is similar to the 1+1 i think there might be a way to support it by kernel tweaks or something..
I really love to have it working on this phone :)

SDCard share the same disk with OS

I'm on Cm13 27th 07 2016 build, flashed the ROM - SU- GApps placing files on SD Card, after installing all the apps from my backup i'm unable to move the apps to SD card all gets dumped in Internal storage.

Code:

"2nd partition is not found , recreate Mount Scipt and reboot and proceed"

a pop up occurs when tried to move apps using App2SD apk. Should i Format and proceed or should i create a partition on SD card using my recovery ?

[MARSHMALLOW] [6.0.1] Issue writing to External Hard Disk Drive [1TB]

The issue I'm facing is whenever I try to copy or paste a file/folder to my external HDD, I get an error "Unable to create the directory in...".
But, I'm able to copy content from my HDD to my Phone(Android device running Marshmallow). I'm also able to read every file. Not sure why moving files from phone to external HDD is causing a problem.
I'm attaching some screenshots for you to understand better.

Please help!

CyanogenMod 13 disk encryption and TWRP

I'm running TWRP 3.0.2 with nightly CyanogenMod 13. I'd like to know what's the progress on fixing the bug where you can't mount the encrypted storage even if your typed PIN is correct.

I know there are a few workarounds as to updating CM (like copying the zip file to cache and flashing it), but I'd like to know if there's any progress to fix this bug.

internal sdcard0 undetected with error: command '117 partition disk volume

Since this morning, my janice fails to mount the sdcard0 failing to download files from the browser, or pictures from whatsapp. Going in -Settings - internal memory; the sdcard0 been damaged and that to use it you must first configure / format it. Formatting does not start and a message appears: command '117 volume partition disk: 179_0 public' failed with '400 117 Command failed'

How can I fix the problem?
