Fire Stick issue with Ouya Controller

Hi all,

I'm trying to setup RetroArch on my Fire TV Stick with an Ouya controller, and have the controller keymap working properly. Now I am running into an issue that the left trigger is always mapped to Home on the Fire Stick, and am unable to get around it. This is problematic as I can't map the trigger to anything else, and inadvertantly pressing the trigger while in RetroArch causes the game to pause and the Ouya controller is no longer recognized after resuming.

I can see the keylayout file in /system/usr/keylayout for the Ouya controller, but can't comment out the line mapping the left trigger to home. (Not rooted).

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

New shield controller question

After using my shield controller for a reasonable time, I would at least expect the Shield Controller app on my shield tablet to say the battery of the controller is around 60-70%. It only ever says Battery: Full.

How is battery life displayed, will it just suddenly start showing something like Battery: Low, or should it display a %?

I believe the controller to be working fine other than this, and I think the firmware update went fine. I am on version version is v1.95/98/3.71/0.32

Not many Android games for controller

It seems there are not many Android games that justify a controller or am I missing something?

Certainly, if you are about to stream PC games a controller is a must have; a reasonable investment.

Bluetooth controller connected, but no input

Hey all, so I'm trying to use a Dualshock 4 as an input device via bluetooth. It connects fine, but there's absolutely no input - a whole lot of nothing happens when pressing any buttons. The controller works fine when connected to my Moto X Play, but for some reason the Pixel ain't happy with it. Anyone else experienced this before and have any solution?

Cheers!

PS4 Controller With VR Gear?

I read on a Reddit page of users using the PS4 Controller as a game pad. I was able to pair the controller with my S7 Edge no problem but when I put on my VR and fire up a game, it does nothing and on same games says I must plug in a game pad.

Is it possible or do I need to buy a separate game pad?

I just got my VR tonight so I'm still playing around with it. I'd rather not drop on a controller if I don't have to because I know it'll be short time before I get bored with using it and then have a controller I'll never use again lol.

Thanks guys.
