Anyone replaced a screen on one of these?

Sorry, I know this is a developer site, but I'm at a loss here.

I have a Verizon M8 for Windows that had a dodgy touch screen. Everything else worked fine. I purchased an LCD/digitizer and installed it. LCD wont come on. Phone powers on, syncs to PC, I can navigate around by taking screen shots and viewing on the PC, so I know the phone is working ok.

So, I purchased a 2nd screen, thinking the 1st one might be faulty. Same thing. No LCD. If I plug the original LCD in, it lights up fine (I cracked it removing the digitizer, so can't re-use it).

Next, I purchased a good, tested 2nd hand motherboard (Verizon, For windows) thinking I may have damaged the LCD connector. Still no LCD display.

Does anyone know if the screens are specific to either the Verizon or Windows Phone versions? Or anything else I might be missing? I've been repairing phones for years (mostly iPhone, Samsung, Lumia) so I'm not new at this.

Can someone PLEASE make an custom rom for the Samsung Galaxy Young 2 SM-G130BT? There's just for another models. the stock software is trash, also a official update from samsung make the battery status not update when on and a lot of problems.. :(

Hello, everyone. I got my OnePlus 3 2 weeks ago. I've been having a couple of problems with it and I wanna know if any of you has the same problems. First of all, the phone is a good phone and I like it but these problems are bothering me greatly and that's why I asked for a replacement instead of a return.
The first problem was when I went on this great trip. I took like 30 pictures. My brother asked me to send him the pictures of the trip. I used Android beam to do so. While the pics were being sent, I cancelled the process because I had to leave. Guess what happened? I lost all the pictures that were being beamed. At first, I thought this was a problem with Android beam itself, but I tried Android beam with other phones, and the pictures didn't get deleted. I tried it again on my OP3, and the pics just disappeared. They disappear if you cancel the process of beaming. Can you please verify if you have this problem?
The second problem is navigation. It's very inaccurate and it got me lost multiple times. Do you have this problem?
The third problem is in YouTube. Some vids on YouTube only play in 480p even though they play up to 2k on other phones. (I know op3 only supports 1080p but I still don't get this option. My internet connection isn't the problem because it's super fast)
The phone is super fast but it's kinda stuttery and not smooth sometimes.
Also, battery life after the latest update, 3.2.1, has been really bad. It drains so fast.
Do you have any of these problems?

Anyone using one of these on Page Plus?

While at work, I tried to have my current Page Plus service transferred to a new Moto G4 and it didn't seem to program correctly. It only indicated 3G, but when I tried to make a call, I got a Verizon operator that said the phone could not be authenticated.
Also, I'm a n00b and admittedly have no idea what I'm doing.

Do these work on Page Plus? The IMEI checked out.

How tu apply these themes?

I am new here, so maybe this thread is placed at a wrong place. I apologize for that. I would like to learn how to apply these themes on my Galaxy S5. Is there any guide on how to apply them, and do the phone need to be rooted?

These are steps to Upgrade to the latest 6.0.1 firmware (N910VVRU2CPF3)

Stand By while I populate this post as intelligently as possible. This is my first attempt at sharing the knowledge. Do not proceed with out perfect understanding.
Restore from worst case scenario (A Brand new Perfect Retail 6.0.1)


1. Used EFS Professional to completely back up all partitions of my factory Developer Note 4 (Just In Case)
2. Downloaded and Flashed VIA ODIN the latest 6.0.1 SM-N910V from SamMobile 2016-06-28 USA (Verizon) 6.0.1 N910VVRU2CPD1 N910VVZW2CPD1
*** Yes it flashed me to a Retail version with a flawless 6.0.1 SM-N910V firmware and yes it over wrote my DE boot Loader. But I (Like You) do not like to be hindered by such petty things as locked boot loaders.
3. I then flashed the most recent Sam-mobile 2016-06-15 USA (Verizon) 5.1.1 N910VVRU2BPA1 N910VVZW2BPA1
*** Yes it flashed me to a Retail version with a flawless 5.1.1 SM-N910V firmware and yes it over wrote my newly acquired 6.0.1 boot Loader. But I (Like You) do not like to be hindered by such petty things as locked boot loaders continued on.
4. I then proceeded to Extract and flash N910VVRU2BPA1_N910VVRU2CPD1_FullFirmware.tar.md5 via Odin just because It says the boot loader that this firmware installs is 6.0.1 friendly.
5. I used the boot loader unlock that is only described exactly and clearly in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=342 (the rest are partial and confusing at best)
6. Finally I flash N910VVRU2CPD1_StockRestore.tar.md5 It does not overwrite the Developer boot loader or any custom recovery that you have just done in step 5.
Summary: I flashed Super SU (make sure it is the right one it solves all that DMverity crap and Kernal @*!$) and everything is wonderful. I'm pretty sure I did everything wrong that I could and still arrived at the proper place. Even Verizion is still sending me OTA??? Oh and for the one issue mentioned about Application Manger missing just use Root Essentials or Titanium Backup app to augment the only issue I can find.

Updated after one more crazy idea:
7. I heard FlashFire could do some amazing things, so after steps 1-6; and with nothing left to lose I decided to flash that Original latest Verizon 6.0.1 ROM from step 2. again this time with FlashFire (after a full FlashFire Backup to external SD). Low and behold allowing it to dirty flash the the latest 6.0.1 SM-N910V from SamMobile 2016-06-28 USA (Verizon) 6.0.1 N910VVRU2CPD1 N910VVZW2CPD1 by defaults (minus Bootloaders and Recovey) it returned a perfect Verizon Note 4 Developer Edition 6.0.1 with no issues at all. forget about application manager and other minor fixes this thing is perfect. It even retained all Super SU and such. Wow!!!
Case closed!

Update 2016.07.02:20:06 CST

My new Rig downloaded N910VVRU2CPF3 OTA update today and I simply let FlashFire handle it with defaults. It allowed only the update to the system , restored TWRP and protected the unlocked boot-loader, I'm now on the latest firmware fully supported by Verizon, Developer Edition and fully rooted. Magic?

Remix os still need these features

hi i cant use youtube it keeps saying google play services needs to be activated all google apps cant be used on remix os please fix it.
another problem is unzipping thee zip files that wont be able to do it even if you have a unzipper app.

OK guys ive found some features that remix os must have but doesnt:
1-Share it : So ive tried using share it and what i saw made me wonder the screen went black and didnt fix until i restarted it after that i tried again and saw that it doesnt work at a ll and i cant transfer files between an android phone and remix Os.
2-bluetooth : well this one didnt work too as i said above it wont find my huawei g8 phone and no phones around.
3-Multiple Keyboard Language And Shifting between them : so guys you know that you can change your keyboards language just with pressing
ALT and SHIFT together but in remix os we can only type english and no way to change it.
4-Google services : so what you feel its empty space is google play services. you want to
know how it can help? so you wont be able to use google applications like google play games,gmail,google play, and so on.
As a compassionate User i ask the developer team to add these simple but very necessary features to Remix Os.
