MAC Spoofing on A700FD Help !?

I have been trying a way to spoof the MAC address on A700FD. Please help me with it. I am running stock Marshmallow 6.0.1 rooted.

I tried all mac changing apps and terminal commands but nothing worked. Then I looked into the files at /sys/devices/soc.0/a000000.qcom,wcnss-wlan/net/wlan0 . There was a file called "address". It has the mac address of the wifi adapter. I tried editing the file and saving it, but it never saves it. I've checked all root permissions and other stuff. Other system files are being saved, but this gives error. Please help me with this. Thanks ! :good:

New GPS Spoofing App

Hey all I have created a new GPS spoofing app called "Fake GPS Controller" available on Google Play. (can't post link due to new xda account registration, you'll have to search for it)

It has a built in floating joystick which allows you to directly control where you want to move (simulates walking or running). Also, it does NOT require "Mock Locations" to be activated in developer options if you are rooted and install it as a system app to the /system/priv-app folder.

Hopefully this doesn't run afoul of the forum rules, yes I'd like to get some attention for my app, but also some feedback, and discuss improvements. :)

I have 100 codes available for free download, I will post some below, and can post more or do some sort of BETA if there's interest. Lastly, please if you download it and you like, please rate the app favorably. Thanks!

Samsung GPS Spoofing Leaks Real Location - Please Help

First time posting, so please let me know if I missed something. I will edit as needed.

Ok, so I am trying to setup a Samsung Note 3 with GPS spoofing.

System Information:
Android Version: 5.0
Model Number: SM-N900T
Rooted: Yes
Kernel Version:3.4.0-6005498

What have I done so far:
I rooted my phone and installed SuperSU
I installed FakeGPS and set it as a system application
I have set my location to GPS Only
I have disabled Fused Location and rebooted my phone (several times)
I looked for GNSS and other suggested location services but I am unsure what else I should/could disable

Long story short, I am rubber banding between my real location and my GPS spoofed location (which is about 100 feet away).

I would really like to know if anyone has any solid ideas on what I can do.

I am 100% comfortable with ditching this OS and using another ROM (which I havent done before, but I could learn).

[sm-t705] build.prop question (spoofing)

Ok so my network (Three uk) disabled my unlimited wifi teathering some time ago which rendered the tablet i used at work useless.
So i went out and found myself a new big screen phone, the sm-t705, a little unwieldy as a phone but hay it works.
Only here comes the snag, when i put the sim card into the device the internet would not work, an error page tells me to put the sim card into a phone to get net, three tech support told me that my phone is a tablet and cant make phone calls .....i was using it to call them lol
Anyway, to the point, i recently read that a rooted device (i am rooted) can pretend to be another device by changing the build.prop there are tons of guilds on how to change it, though from the view point of making google play see it as a different device to install unsupported applications, seems straight forward (if a little risky) but here are my questions,
1) what sections do i need to change so the phone reports as a normal phone?
2) what phone should i spoof as? (im thinking i should spoof as a phone as close to my specs in terms of processor etc as possible to avoid installing a version of an app that may have different cpu requirements or may burn out my phones gpu)
3) anyone done this? any tips if you have?

Thanks in advance, all advice greatfully recieved.

GPS Spoofing Not Working

Hello! Unfortunately, I'm caught up in Pokemon Go. There are no Pokemon anywhere near me unless I want to drive 30 minutes. I love the game though! I've used multiple GPS Spoofers to no avail.

They all work to some degree, but most will end up pinging me back to my real location every 5-10 seconds and I'm trying to not get banned. Here's what I've done so far:

Rooted
Set App to mock locations
Xposed + Mock Mock Locations
GPS Only
LockToIt + other spoof apps
Turning off Wi-Fi

Any other tips? I've tried to route a distance a to b and also standing still. It somehow still knows where I am and the game blips to my current location every 5-10 seconds.
